(Anna's P.O.V.)
Sigh
   I opened my eyes and breathed in the sweet smell of the wood and stone that my house was made of. I reached to my stomach and felt Garroth's hand. I held it and just closed my eyes. I've never been as happy as I was at that moment.
   "Morning..." Garroth whispered into my ear.
   "Morning..." I smiled and got up. He got up too and I went to the bathroom to get dressed. "We have breakfast with Aphmau and the guards today...".
   "Okay..." Garroth nodded. "Ready...?". I nodded and we left for Aphmau's house.

   "Anna! Garroth!" Aphmau smiled at us.
   "Hi Aphmau!" I greeted politely.
   "Anna! I don't know...have you met Dante?" She gestured to the blue haired guard.
   "No I haven't! Nice to meet you Dante." I shook his hand and smiled at him.
"Nice to meet you too, Anna!" He smiled back. "I'm sorry for what's happened lately. I hope you are doing alright...".
"Dant-"
"I'm fine Garroth. And thank you Dante for your concern.". Sat down between Laurence and Garroth.
"Okay...first order of business. Guard towers. We need to talk to Brendan and Dale to get more towers up around the new Phoenix Drop gates. I also want to rebuild the entire Phoenix Drop gates that used to surround the old village.". The other four of us nodded.
"Aphmau...in my defense...Brendan is out of town on a trade trip with Malachi. So it will be a while before we even start to plan any building. Dale is also under the weather." Dante pointed out a lot of good points.
"He's got a point." I agreed.
"Okay....I guess that trumps my conversation...you are all free to go." Aphmau looked down at her food and shook her head on shock.
"Too busy lately...huh?" I walked up to her.
"I guess so...wow." She looked sad so I let her be.
I walked outside and was gagged and my wrist were tied together. I tried screaming for help but Aphmau was inside and Garroth,Laurence,and Dante were already down the path.
The guy threw me over his shoulder and ran into the forest. I tried to move and get off of his shoulder. I finally managed to yell for help when we were just into the forest. I saw Laurence look back and then get Garroth and Dante.
The vial he disappeared to only trees. I spit the bandana out of my mouth.
"Who are you?! What do you want from me?!" He threw me down onto the ground against a tree.
"I'm Vlyad...Ro'Meave."
"Zane's brother! Get away from me!!"
"No! I'm not like Zane! I promise!! Oh my Irene! Not in a million years would I want to be like Zane."
"Well your acting like him! What do you want?" He looked at me evil-like.
"You don't want to get me mad...little miss 'Garroth help me! I can't fend for myself!'" He smirked.
"You don't want to make me mad either...because I'm sure that you don't know who you are messing with. And I'm pretty mad right now."
"Oh...I'm messing with a little town girl who depends on her little Garroth for everything..." He pushed it. I got mad. I turned into my form and the color in his face drained.
"What-what are you?!"
"I'm a Shadow Knight and a former Jury of Nine member."
"My....Irene..." He mumbled under his breath.
I went for his neck with my sword and he dodged easily.
"I'm a Shadow Knight to ya know..." He turned and we started to fight. I went for his back and he turned and went for my arm but I got his leg instead. He yelled slightly and then he gave me a look. A flashback came to me...

It was raining and I was at the bunker. Vlyad entered and I asked why he was there. He was sad and gave me that look of sadness. He told me why he was sad and how his father had called him a disappointment. We hugged and went out to the lake and I told him about my past life and he felt sad for me and gave me the necklace I still have today.
I returned to reality and went out of form. He went at me and I flinched but felt nothing but a gust of wind and heard clashing of swords. I opened my eyes and saw...Laurence?! He was in Shadow Knight form. Garroth came up to me and I was glad to see his face again. I smiled, "I'm so glad to see you but what about Laurence?"
"He'll catch up later we have to go now..." Garroth and I ran out of the woods back into Phoenix Drop and forgot about Laurence...

Huh? What? 
I couldn't see anything...I heard familiar voices and then saw it......the Nether. Why was I here? I saw him...that face that I swore I'd never see again...my friend.
"Anna...glad your awake."
I sat up and looked at his face...it was my old friend, Zenix. 
  "Zenix! I haven't seen you in years. What am I doing here?!"
   "Vlyad caught you again and took you here. The...uh..." He shallowed hard..."Gene needs you to offer to the Shadow Lord for power..." He looked at me solemnly.

"What now?"
