Vaish called Ani and told everything.

Vaish: And mom aap tension matt lo. Just be ready. I am coming home. Aur dad ko bhi call krti hu

Ani: Arre kaise tension nhi loo? Tujhe tere papa ke gusse ka nhi pata kya?

Vaish: Mom I know. But abhi mere paas aapko samjhane ka time nhi hai. To please abhi aap ye sab lekar matt beth jaoo. Mujhe dad ko call karne do

Ani: Achha theek hai

She hanged up the call and called Shiv.

Shiv: Mein meeting mein hu. Karta hu call

Vaish: Dad dad dad. It's really urgent. Aap please meri baat sunlo

Shiv: Par beta

Vaish: Dad please

Shiv sighed and excused himself and got out of meeting.

Shiv: Vaishu aesa bhi kya kaam hai? Pata hai kitna unprofessional lagta hai

Vaish: Dad I understand. But this is something really important

Shiv: Achha batao

Vaish: Aese phone par nhi. Mein ghar jaa rahi hu. Aese karo. Aap bhi aa jaoo. Fir aaram se baat karte hai

Shiv: Arre mein aese kaise meeting chhod kar aa jaoo

Vaish: Dad but mujhe aapse ek bohot zaroori kaam hai

Shiv: To batao kaam

Vaish: Wo milkar batana hai

Shiv: Ajeeb zidd hai. Dekho meeting khatam karke aa jaoonga. I promise

Vaish: Meeting to approx 6 baje khatam hogi. To aapko aate aate 6:45 ke around ho jaega. Tab to late ho jaega

Shiv: Dekho beta. Sab mera wait kar rahe hai. Mein tumse baad mein baat karta hu

Vaish: Ek kaam karo. I am sending a location. Aap ghar aane ki jagah na. Waha aa jana

Shiv: Waha par kya hai?

Vaish: Dad you trust me right?

Shiv: I do par kya hai...

Vaish: (cuts him) To bass aa jana

She hanged up the call before he could reply.

Shiv: Meri family sab pagal hi kyu hai? Ye log milkar mujhe bhi ek din pagal kar denge

Vaish opened Sid's chat to see location and sent it to Shiv. She went home and picked up Ani and both went to location.

Ani: Kuch gadbad to nhi hogi?

Vaish: Ye to aapka ladla batayega

Shiv came after few minutes.

Shiv: Vaishu kya hai ye sab? Aesa achanak se yaha kyu? Aesi kya baat karni thi. Jiske lie thoda wait nhi ho sakta tha. Aur yaha kyu bulaya? May I know?

Vaish: Dad actually mujhe khud nhi pata

Shiv: Sorry?

Vaish: Actually mujhe khud Sid ne bulaya tha

Shiv: Kyu?

Vaish: Wo usne bola aakar batayega

Shiv: Yaha?

Vaish: Ya I called him. He told to wait for sometime

Shiv: Vaishu ye sab kya hai? Probably tbere is some concert gonna start. But hume usse kya lena?

Vaish: Mujhe bhi bass itna hi pata hai

Shiv: Call karo usse

Vaish: Mein kar chuki hu. And he said ki bass abhi aa raha hai

Shiv: Vaishu mujhe kisi concert dekhne mein koi interest nhi hai

He said turning his face away. Vaish looked at Ani with crying face.

Ani: Suniye ek baar sun to lijie ki wo kya bolna chahta hai. Ab aa hi gaye hai to thoda wait kar lete hai

Shiv: I hope it's worth it

Ani and Vaish looked at each other. They were standing waiting for Sid when the concert started. They called the group who was gonna perform. They started their performance.

Vaish: Dad

Shiv: Ab kya hai?

Vaish: Dad ye awaaz. Ye awaaz Sid ki hai. Ye gaane ki awaaz. I am sure ye usiki awaaz hai dad

Shivika's attention turned towards voice.

Ani: Hnn usiki hai

They went towards the stage.

Vaish: Shayad yahi wo aapko batana chahta tha dad

Shiv was just looking at him. The concert ended. Audience enjoyed it a lot. Shivika and Vaish were standing waiting for Sid. Sid came with a smile and took Shiv's hand in his and kept a packet in his hand. Shiv opened it. There were ₹10,000 in it.

Sid: Ye meri pehli kamai hai dad. Meri first performance ki salary. Maine khud apni mehnat se kamai hai dad

He was standing waiting for Shiv to say something. But instead of speaking anything, Shiv pulled him in a tight hug and patted his back. Sid got tears in his eyes. Vaish and Ani were also smiling through tears. Shiv broke the hug and kept his hand on his cheek and kissed his forehead.

Shiv: Ab bass mann lagakar karna iss kaam ko

Sid nodded.

Sid: Pakka karoonga dad. Mujhe di ne kaha tha jiss kaam mein tera mann lage wo kar. Maine bohot socha. I searched what I can do according to my qualifications. Mujhe kisime bhi nhi laga ki yes this profession is meant for me. But fir ek din bethe bethe apna guitar baja raha tha aur laga ki iske ilawa shayad maine kuch karne ka kabhi socha hi nhi. Maine kisi cheez se itna pyaar nhi kia jitna mein apne guitar se karta raha hu. To bass uss din se raat ko upar chaat par beth kar mein practice karta tha.
