Part 1
Diksha's POV:
It was night and I was about to leave the Lab when my eye caught a book laying on my desk: it was a dinosaur's book... I sat down and started reading it.*****
Next Day. Zaan's POV:
It was my first day at Laboratory of Archaeology and Paleontology (LAP) one of the biggest and famous Laboratories in India. I was damn excited!! I always wanted to work there! I left my house and sat in the car. It took me nearly 15 minutes to reach the Lab. As I came out of my car my mouth dropped in seconds. It was huge. I never saw it in real... it was more beautiful in real. There was a big garden in front of it.

I crossed it and entered the Lab... it was like a dream comes true. From inside it was more beautiful and big. On the main wall, there was a big painting of a T-Rex fighting with a Triceraptor... on other walls there were many shelves full of different kind of fossils and stones... it was really impressive. I started roaming around the room. I was mesmerising the Lab when I saw a girl sleeping on a chair with a book in her hands. It seemed like the book was on dinosaurs... I again looked at her, she was looking gorgeous with the Lab Coat. Her desk was at the end of the Lab, in a corner. I went there and noticed that some hair were covering her face, I don't know why but I couldn't stop myself from removing them. As I did so she suddenly woke up and my heart started beating very fast...
"Zaan!! Yeh kya kar diya tune??! Ab tu to gaya kam se!" I thought.
Diksha's POV:
I suddenly woke up because I felt something on my face. When I opened my eyes I realized that a guy was touching my face! "What the hell are you doing?! Tumhari himmat kaise hui mujhe chune ki?! Kaun ho tum?!" I said at the top of my voice. He opened his mouth, but I cut him in between: "Tumhare jaise log ese nhi mante... abhi chalo mere saath, Boss ke cabin me!" I held his hand and took him to the cabin. "Arey Ma'am dekhiye, me naya hu yaha please mujhe maaf kar dijiye, mere dimag me pata nhi kya aaya tha, aghe se esa kabhi nhi hoga, mujhe mere pehle din me hi nikal diya jaega... please try to understand", he tried to explain. We reached the door and I knocked. "Come in" Boss said.
Zaan's POV:
"Good morning Boss" the girl said as we entered the room. "Good morning, Diksha. Kya hua tum itne gusse me kyu ho, itni subha subha? Aur yeh ladka koun he?" He asked pointing towards me. Diksha? What a nice name! Atleast mujhe iska naam toh pata chala!! "Pata nhi kaun he, keh raha tha ke naya hai... Boss isne mere saath batamizi ki! Isko yaha se nikal do!" And she started again... oh c'mon! I just removed some hair from her face! And she is acting like I raped her!!! "What?! How dare you mister? Is Lab me aurato ki izzat hoti he! Aur tum?! Mujhe abhi apna naam batao! Tumhe kaam se nikal diya jaa raha he..." he said in a firm voice. My heart shattered in seconds... "Sir, please aisa mat kijiye... aaj mera pehla din he..." I tried to explain. But he wasn't ready to change his decision... "Mera naam Zaan Khanna he" I said in a low voice. "What?! Zaan Khanna?! Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhay Khanna ke bete?!" He asked in excitement. "Ji haan... me unka hi beta hu" I answered in confusion "Oh My God! I'm really sorry for behaving like this! Please take a seat... mujhe pata nhi tha ke aap DCP sahab ke bete he! Your most welcome at the Lab!" He said with an ear to ear smile. A smile came on my face! I can't belive that! Dad u saved me today!!! I looked at Diksha, her eyes were wide and her mouth was open. "Thank you so much Sir!!!". I thanked him. "So Mr. Zaan aiye me apko apki desk dikha deta hu..." he stood up and started walking, as I followed him I winked at Diksha that was looking me like she is going to eat me! Sir showed me my desk that was near to Diksha's desk. "Boss ap isko kahi aur betha dijiye please. I don't want him near my desk!" She looked at me angrily. "Dekho Diksha, yeh yahi rahenghe, tumhe inki help karni chahiye sab kuch dikhao inko Lab ka aur agar inko kisi bhi cheez ki zarurat ho to de dena" he said and walked away before she could reply. "Lekin..." she left her sentence in between and looked at me "Dekho, mujhe koi matlab nhi he ki tum koun ho aur kiske bete ho, tum mujhse door rehna aur kuch bhi expect mat karna mujhse... got it?" She said. I just nooded because I knew there was no point in arguing with her now... I had to talk to her tomorrow, may be she will forget everything and we can become friends. She went to her desk and sat down. I looked at my desk... there wasn't much, just a computer and some materials for exploring a fossil. I sat down and started looking at the materials that were placed at the table...
