Jason and Ash ran at full speed across a dirt path leading into a forest of trees, looking for Pikachu, with Luna chilling on Jason's shoulder, with Aipom going from tree to tree, looking around.

They noth slow down as Ash looked up at Aimpom up in a tree and called."Hey Aipom, do you see Team Rocket balloon from up ther?"He asked.

Aipom climbed down, shaking her head no.

"Man," Ash said, looking down and walking off."When you want to find those guys, they disappear, hard to find."

"Hey, don't worry. We find them, and Pikachu, as long as we keep looking," Jason said, following Ash and Aipom.

"Pooch!" Luna said in agreement.

"Your right. I just hope Pikachu is okay," Ash said.

"Pikachu will be okay. We find him, and I won't leave until we do; being my fault, he blasted off," Jason said, looking at Luna on his shoulder.

"Poochenya!"

"It's okay, Luna your Hidden Power was just stronger than I expected," Jason said, smiling at her.

"Thanks for staying to help even though you could have gone ahead and started your journey," Ash said.

"I don't mind helping Pikachu safety more important than the Gym and registering for the league," Jason stated.

Jason and Ash sat in a large grassy field with Luna on Jason's lap, relaxing. At the same time, Aipom was seated next to Ash.

"Still no sign of Team Rocket anywhere," Ash said.

"We find them, but maybe for now, we take a short break from running," Jason said, looking at Luna relaxing in his lap.

"I guess your right," Ash said with a sigh.

As they were relaxing in the large field of grass. Luna glanced up at Jason hearing a noise coming their way.

"What the matter?" Jason asked, noticing Luna's sudden alert behavior.

"Hello, is everything alright over there?" A voice gained Jason, Ash, and Aipom's attention as they turned around to see Officer Jenny on her motorcycle.

"It, Officer Jenny," Ash said.

Jason looked down at Luna and realized she must have heard Officer Jenny's motorcycle coming their way.

"Hey, why don't you ride with Officer Jenny and explain what happened, "Jason said."I will follow right behind you shortly," He said.

"Alright, but are you sure you can keep up?" Ash asked, getting in the sidecar.

"It's okay. This Pokemon will be able to help," Jason said, pulling out a Pokeball and sending it out a large shiny Typloison.

"Typlosion!" It cried out the fire in its flames.

"Flare, there's no battle. I need your assistance to carry me on your back," Jason explained.

"Ty, plosion," Flare said with a nod. He put out his flames and leaned forward as Jason mounted on his back, wrapping his arms around Flare's body as Luna rode on his shoulder.

"Alright, go ahead; Flare and I will follow behind you," Jason said.

"Woah, you can ride Typlosion," Ash said, expressing how Jason was hanging on without something properly securing him.

"Yeah, not the first time Flare carried me," Jason replied as Officer Jenny nodded, trusting that he would be fine on Flare's back.

"Let's go, Flare and Luna's paws tight on my clothes for hanging on," Jason said.

"Pooch!" Luna said, clamping her paws on Jason's shirt as Flare started following after Officer Jenny's motorcycle.

Jason had arrived at Professor Rowan's lab on Flare soon; Ash was getting out of the sidecar.

"Jason, you made it," Ash said as he saw Jason getting off of Flare's back.

"Yeah, thank you, Flare, now; get some rest," Jason said, returning Flare back to his Pokeball.

Soon as Flare was returned, Jason and Ash both headed on inside of the lab to be greeted by Professor Rowan and immediately introduced themselves.

"So your Ash from Pallet Town, and your Jason, formerly from Blackthorn City," Professor Rown said."Professor Oak said a great deal about you. He sent over your Aipom Pokeball for you," He said, handing the Pokeball to Ash.

"That's great. Thanks, Professor," Ash said, taking the Pokeball.

"I heard a lot about you from Clair and said a friend wanted to join you," He said, handing Jason a blue and red Pokeball.

"I see," Jason said, taking the Pokeball and smiling, knowing which one it was.

"Now, I would worry so much about Pikachu," Professor Rowan said, resting a finger against his chin."I heard one of my new trainers that this morning she protected a lost Pikachu from a
group of thieves who call themselves Team Rocket."

"Your kidding, wow!" Ash said excitedly.

"Aipom!"

"That's great someone found Pikachu," Jason said.

"Poochenya!"

"Why don't we call the Pokemon Center," Professor Rowan said.

"You do that. I'm going to say hi to my friend," Jason said, holding out the Pokeball.

"Alright, be back!" Ash shouted, following Professor Rowan to the phone.

"Alright, come out, Eve," He said, sending out a small mammalian, quadrupedal Pokemon with soft fluffy brown fur.

"Eevee!" Eve cried out happily, jumping into Jason's arms.

"Good to see you. Guess you begged my sister to send you over before she with back to her gym after checking on mine," Jason said, laughing.

"Pooch," Luna said, greeting Eve.

"Well, it couldn't hurt to train you more, and you can evolve while here in Sinnoh, like four of the other Eevee I caught after saving you guys from that poacher," He said, looking at Eve happily in his arms.

"Eve!" Eve said she was happy she got to stay with Jason on his journey.

"Alright, time to return for now," Jason said, placing the Pokeball on Eve's head, returning her for now.

Soon as he returned, Eve, he saw Ash run past him and towards the exit out of the lab.

"Wait, where are you going?" Professor Rowan said.

"I got to find Dawn," Ash replied."I know the Pokemon Center is close by, right? So that means she got to be close by too. Come on, Aipom, let's go!" He said, running off.

"Man, for someone who is fourteen now, he still seems to be hyperactive," Jason commented, remembering when he first met Ash."We better go as well, Luna, don't worry, Professor, I got him from here," Jason said, following Ash after with Luna riding on his shoulder.

Jason finally caught up with Ash as he saw a truck stop and saw another familiar face get out of the truck. It was none other than Brock.

"Ash!"

"Hey, Brock," Ash greeted.

"I guess great minds think alike," Brock commented."Jason, your here as well," He said, noticing Jason walking their way.

"Hi, Brock," Jason greeted.

"Either you guys know each other, or you're too friendly," A girl with blue hair said.

"This is my old buddy Ash. He and I have been traveling together for a long time 0, and we met Jason back in Jhoto," Brock said.

"The name Claudia," The girl introduced."And in case you haven't noticed, I'm the proud driver of this big rig."

"Nice to meet you."

"Hi."

"Yeah, Claudia is on the road to happiness and true l love," Brock said, putting an arm on Ash's shoulder.

"Yeah, but in a truck?" Ash asked.

"I don't understand you," Jason muttered as Brock rambled on about his so-called love.

'He is a strange teenager. I get love, but he is always chasing girls.' Jason thought, shaking his head, not listening to Brock.

However, he started chuckling as Claudia got a call from her boyfriend before she took off.

"Alright, Ash, a man got to do, and these men are going to do with or without a good woman by their side," Brock said.

"Yeah, that's what I like to hear," Ash said.

"Hey, were Pikachu?" Brock asked.

"Who knows," Ash said.

"Yeah, Pikachu sort of gone me and Luna didn't help as planned," Jason said, glancing at Poochenya relaxing on his shoulder.

"That Team Rockets doesn't quit," Brock said as the three were walking through the forest.

"Here it is. There's a Pokemon Center up ahead where that girl took Pikachu," Ash said, looking at a map."So we can see if Nurse Joy knows what way she went."

"When I come to Nurse Joy, leave it to me," Brock said.

"Oh boy," Jason whispered.

Aipom then smacked into a small black and white bird.

"Knocking it, Aipom, this is no time for you to pick a fight," Ash said.

"Hey, who's that Pokemon?" Brock asked.

Ash then took out his Pokedex.

[Starly, the Starling Pokemon. Starly normally travels in a flock, but when alone, it is hard to notice.]

"A normal flying type, alright!" Ash shouted.

"Maybe we should catch it," Brock said.

"I think so too. That way, we can look for Pikachu from the air," Ash said.

"Good idea. If I had one of my flying types with me, I could have done that, but I didn't bring one," Jason said.

"Aipom, I want to catch Starly, so I need your help," Ash said.

Aipom looked back at Ash and jumped up, ready to go.

Aipom use Swift!"

Aipom swung its tail as it flashed white and sent golden stars at Starly, hitting it directly.

Starly countered back with a powerful whirlwind at Aipom and hit them as well.

"That Whirlwind and a strong one as well," Brock commented.

"Aipom, hang in there and use Focus Punch!"

Aipom-tailed started to glow white as it focused our power on it.

"Aipom. Starly coming in with a Quick Attack!"

Aipom jumped back, avoiding the Quick Attack, but was slapped in the face by Starly's wing.

"Now Starly is using Wing Attack!" Brock said.

"I know you can do it, Aipom!"

Aipom then slammed its tail into Starly.

"Go, Pokeball!" Ash shouted, throwing a Pokeball at Starly and catching it."Alright, I caught a Starly!" He shouted and then looked at the Pokeball with a sigh.

"What's wrong?"

You know Brock Pikachu is usually with me," Ash said.

"Remember you caught Starly to help find Pikachu," Jason said.

"Your right, Satrly; come on out!" Ash said.

With Ash is the first Pokemon from the Sinnoh Region on the team. As well as Eevee joining Jason on his journey. They set off to find Pikachu and Dawn and vice versa. We there paths finally meet? Stay tuned to find out.

I decide not to add Ash's Pokemon team or Brock's team since, after helping Ash, he is going to split up from them anyway to travel on his own but will probably gain a few of his own travel buddies at some point. Jason will get his main flying type from Sinnoh at some point as well. I have a slight idea of what Pokemon it will be.

I also know someone suggested I will do a love story for Max when he is older and now a trainer, and I will think about it as a possibility.
