At the interview Payal and Viren had to interact extensively but the topic of their alliance did not come up.Payal had expected him to bring it up atleast at the occasional tea breaks they got, but was disappointed. She wondered if he was not interested in this or was not informed of it. Viren was surprised as well as impressed with Payal and the manner in which she conducted the interviews. She was sure what she wanted from the candidate and was ruthless when it came to testing them. If she decided that a person would suit the requirement, she would go to any extent to hire them. Viren  started to admire her for the confidence, clarity and the autority she possesed.With Viren's valuable inputs, the interview went on without a glitch and  concluded with  desired results. Subbu, Payal and Viren were satisfied and happy with the outcome. They dispersed after appreciating each other for their efforts.

Viren had told his mother ,that morning ,that he was fine with the idea of meeting the girl. His mother had not wasted much time in communicating it to Mrs.Padma. On knowing this, Payal 's mother rejoiced and at once fixed the meet to the coming sunday.  They would meet at a coffee shop near Payal's house so that her parents could keep an eye on them. Payal got this information as soon as she reached home and was even more unsure of the whole thing. He had not spoken a word the whole morning and now he wanted to meet, it seemed strange to her. But then, she thought,he might have felt that it was not the right setting to talk about these issues and probably that is why he had not got the topic. Whatever it was, she was excited.
