"We did what Weatherbee asked. Wrote an apology and posted a new video apologizing some more", said Archie as he walked in the kitchen with Daniel. "So this, uh, Red Circle business, it's over?", asked Fred. Daniel and Archie nodded. "I'm happy to hear that.", said Fred. "I've been missing my sons." You must know, Daniel grew up with the Andrews children. Whenever his parents were at work, he would always stay at the Andrews's house. Which became his home. "Dan, I'm ready!", yelled Kj from top of the stairs. "I, uh, will go. See you at school.", said Daniel to Archie.

Arabella and her sister Victoria were eavesdropping their family once again. "Southside? A problem?", whispered Arabella to Victoria. As their father said project, both girls looked at each other confused. "I've invited investors to the open house. The St.Clairs from New York.", said Hiram Lodge. Arabella looked up in shock and slowly backed up from the door. Scenes began to play in her head. Her palms were sweaty and her breathing heavy. Victoria watched her sister in shock. "Ara, are you okay?", she asked. Arabella shook her head and went to the door. She took her backpack and left for school. Leaving a confused and scared Victoria Lodge.

Jughead Jones opened the door and went outside. He spotted his sister and the other Serpents. "Sweets, careful!", warned him Valentina. "Nice article your girlfriend's mother wrote.", said Aubrey. "I saw that. Dilton Doiley was stabbed and you jumped him?", asked Jughead. "The idiot stabbed himself with his own knife.", said Fangs. "We didn't jump him.", added Tyler. "There was a fight. Bulldogs versus Serpents. See this?", said Sweet Pea and pointed to his blue eye. "Your boy Andrews gave it to me before his girlfriend shot a gun into the air."

"What happened?", asked Jughead. "And of course, Northsiders get off scot-free, the rest of us are hauled in by police.", said Tyler. "It's payback time.", said Mila confident. "What are you guys talking about? What is---? What is that? Is that a pipe bomb?", asked Jughead as he looked down on the paper. "Fogartys's cousin served in the army. He's gonna build us something.", said Tyler smirking. "We'll do it after hours. It'll shut the Riverdale Register down!", said Liam. "You think blowing up a building will make things better?", asked Jughead. "Uhm yes?", said Mila. "Can't get any worse.", said Sweet Pea. "Yeah, Sweet Pea, it can. Let me talk to Archie, figure this out.", said Jughead calm.

"That's your answer for everything. Talk and more talk. We don't know who you stand with.", said Aubrey. "That was cool. You talked like a real Serpent!", said Jazmine excited. "You think so?", squealed Aubrey. "Us? Or them?", she continued to talk. "You can't be half a Serpent.", said Tyler. Tyler then left with the others and only left Toni and her sisters. "Great. So, Archie started World War III.", joked Jughead. "Northside has been dumping on us for years.", said Brooklyn. "Your dad tried to keep the peace.", said Mila. "Avoid bloodshed. Now that he's gone, idiots like Sweet Pea think there's one path and solution. Violence.", said Toni and looked silently at Jughead. He knew they were right. After all his dad is the Serpent king.

"Nick and I were the will- they- or -won't -they of our jet set. He's an outrageous flirt but we never dated", said Veronica to Kevin. "Why were they never dating?", asked Jolene Arabella. "Because Jo, Nick is a selfish moron. Think of Gaston but his son.", said Arabella laughing. In this moment Betty and Archie walked in. "Who's this now?", asked Archie. "Don't be jealous Arch, it's just someone from Ronnie's bad girl past.", said his sister. "Nick St.Clair the most horrible person I can imagine.", said Arabella. Veronica looked at her. "I have to go to the bathroom anyway.", said Arabella and left.

As Arabella went over to the sink to wash her hands, she saw her reflection in the mirror. She saw the scared 9 year old again. She decided to stop and finished washing her hands. "I see you and Daniel got pretty close.", said a voice. "Oh, hey Lynn.", said Arabella as she approached the girl behind her. "You still didn't answer my question.", said Lynn. "Yeah me and Dan were even more close back in London.", answered the girl.

"I will say this once: Stay away from Daniel Santos!", said Lynn and turned Arabella around. She looked her straight into the eyes and could see jealousy. In that moment Jolene Andrews walked in. "Let it be Lynn", she said. "Fuck off." "No, you fuck off Jolene Mary Andrews.", said Lynn. Jolene just looked with anger in her eyes. "Ugh fine. Don't forget what I told you.", said Lynn and pointed to Arabella. "Thank you!", said Arabella with relief. Jolene just nodded. "We have to talk!"

Jughead Jones walked into the Whyte Wyrm with his Serpent jacket. He walked towards Sweet Pea and the boys who played pool. "I think this Northsider's lost...", said Liam. "I'm not.", began Jughead. "I'm over being a half Serpent" "Wow. You'll do anything to protect your Northside buddies.", said Sweet Pea. Jazmine gave her boyfriend a warning look but he responded with a blow kiss. "My father was a Serpent. He led you. I wanna stand with you guys.", said Jughead confidently. Sage watched her brother desperately.

"Tall Boy was the one who gave him this jacket. It's finally time he starts to wear it!", said Sage defending. "I wanna be a Serpent too!", said Aubrey  and raised her hand. Tall Boy looked at her. "You're already one Davis. Your jacket is just waiting for you.", said Tyler. Aubrey just looked at him with big eyes. Tall Boy then turned to Jughead. "So now you wanna be a Serpent, huh?", he asked. "Let's see if you survive the initiation first."

Sage pulled her brother aside to talk to him. "Jug, are you sure about this?", she asked. He just nodded his head. "I just don't want you to get hurt you know.", she said honest. "Hey Sage, I'm not gonna get hurt.", he promised. Both siblings hugged. They were ready for everything. Especially this.

Jughead Jones and his sister were peacefully asleep. Suddenly both wake up and Jughead jumped out of fear. Turns out it were only Sweet Pea and the others with silicone snake masks. "Your initiation begins now. With you assuming guardianship of the Beast.", said Sweet Pea and let a cuddly and cute dog behind. Sage being overwhelmed by the cuteness began to pet it.

"What do you think of the Beast?", asked Toni at school. "Adorable!", said Sage happy. "He stinks. And he barks all the time. He's got no boundaries.", said Jughead. "That reminds of someone.", said Sage and looked at her brother. Jughead just chuckled. "Every new recruit has to take care of Hot Dog. It's tradition. This is our third Hot Dog." "Oh Hot Dog the third.", said Sage. "It's getting borderline ridiculous", said Jughead and rose an eyebrow. "Oh kind of like Forsythe the third?", asked Toni. All three teens looked at each other and chuckled.

Today was the day. The St.Clairs arrived. "Mr and Mrs St.Clair. Nicholas. On behalf of my mother and father, welcome to Riverdale. While you're in town, think of me as your corporate concierge. Anything you need ask away.", said Veronica kind. In that moment Arabella came. She gave a small smile to the folks but a cold stare to Nick. She went pass them like a ghost and didn't bother to say goodbye.

It was English class and Daniel was bored as hell. He looked over to his best friend Cory. He was asleep! Then he looked at Kj. She locked eyes with him. She then started to talk with her eyes. What the hell is she trying to say? He then looked over at Arabella. She didn't look very good. Her hair was just in a messy ponytail. Her eyes red and puffy from crying. Her whole appearance was lifeless. As if she lost herself. But Daniel still found her beautiful. He didn't realize that Arabella was staring at him. Her brown orbs didn't have that glimmer anymore. Instead the glimmer was replaced with some kind of a fear. A fear named Nick St.Clair!

"A Serpent never shows cowardice. If a Serpent is killed or imprisoned their family will be taken care of. Serpents uh...", said Jughead while learning the Serpent laws. "Come on. Focus.", whined Mila Topaz. "You need to take this seriously", said Brooklyn. "Okay I am Brook, I swear to God I am. It's just--- first the Beast and now those laws.", said Jughead frustrated. "Why the change of heart anyway? Why go from conscientious objector to full-fledged member?", asked Toni.

"Because of something you said.", he said and looked at Toni. "My dad was the only one, well including John Queen, keeping idiots like Sweet Pea in line. Someone needs to step up...to keep an all-out war from erupting. I am taking this serious.", he continued.  "Wait, what do you mean including John Queen?", asked Brooklyn. "John was my dad's best friend. That made John like the second king. And my dad is Arabella's godfather.", explained Jughead.

Amy McCoy watched as Nick stood up and clapped. They were watching a Josie and the Pussycats rehearsal. "You Pussycats are pearls before the swine of Riverdale. You have to come to the party I'm hosting tonight in your honor.", said Nick. "Ugh what a snob.", thought Amy. As Cheryl heard the word "party" she couldn't resist but to introduce herself. Amy rolled her eyes. "Josie, I'm at Amelia's tonight!", she said to her cousin. Josie nodded her head. Amy rolled her eyes again and made her way to her final class.

Music started to blast in Amelia Hopkins's room. She had her friends over, finally! "Ami?", asked Kj. Amelia went over to her friend. "Who's this?", asked Kj again. "That's my mom", answered Amelia. "She's beautiful.", said Jenna. "She was, indeed.", said Amelia and smiled sadly. Her mom died a few years back. She lost her fight against cancer. Amelia's father, Michael had a hard time finding a stable job but the right job eventually came. He's overprotective about Amelia, and she understands that, but sometimes it's just too much.

"Amelia, I'm so sorry.", apologized Arabella. "Don't be! My mom fought for so long, it was time for her. Besides it gave my dad a new opportunity.", said Amelia smiling. She couldn't admit to her friends but she really misses her mother. A tear escaped her eye and she whipped off. Her friends saw that and decided to hug her. Amelia smiled again, this time for real.

"What's up?", asked Jughead as he saw the three Topaz sisters. "Jughead, we, um...", began the oldest Topaz. "We came to warn you.", said Mila inpatient. "If you're having any second thoughts...now would be the time to back out because the final trial...", said Brooklyn. "Is on a whole other level.", finished Mila. "The Gauntlet you mean? If it's anything like the Beast, I'll be fine. It's whatever.", said Jughead.

"No Jughead, it's not whatever", said Toni. "You join us, you gotta be willing to die for us.", said Mila serious. Toni took a step forward. "Because we will for you.", she said. "And your Northside friends and girlfriend? You're gonna look up one day and they'll all be gone.", said Brooklyn. "Because that's what happens when you join a gang. The Serpents are no exception.", said Toni. "Consider me warned. Thank you guys.", said Jughead. The Topaz sisters left the trailer but Jughead couldn't miss but to give a glance at Toni. He's gonna be careful. He will.

Arabella was on her way home as she saw her friend Betty Cooper on the bus stop. She was sitting on a bench and cried. "Betty?", asked the young Lodge. "Are you okay?" "Ara, oh I didn't see you.", said Betty and tried to dry her eyes. Arabella sat next to her and gave her a tissue. Suddenly Betty's phone began to ring. "Arabella please leave. ", said Betty. "No I'm not leaving-" "I said leave! Please.", begged Betty. Arabella hugged Betty and made her way home.

Arabella Lodge finally arrived home, only to find her oldest sister waiting for her. "Can we talk?", asked Veronica. Arabella nodded slowly and followed her sister into her room. "It's about Nick", she said and closed the door behind her. Arabella couldn't believe what her sister told her. But she knew one thing for sure. Nick St.Clair is a pig!

It was the day of the SoDale. Arabella greeted the guests together with her parents. "Hey mija. How'd it go with Nick?", asked Hiram. "Did he say something?", asked Veronica nervous. "No we haven't seen him. From all reports, your charm offensive is paying off. Good work.", said her father. "Oh there's Nick now.", said her mother. Veronica turned around. "Uh oh looks like we're running out of canapes. Excuse us while we go quietly yell at the caterer.", said Veronica and took Arabella's hand.

"You're gonna need to top those off. Thank you.", said Veronica. Suddenly Nick came by. "Before you throw a drink in my face...I'm sorry.", he apologized. "I crossed the line." "You obliterated the line.", said Veronica. "I strongly concur. And it's not an excuse...but over the last three months, I've been...in and out of rehab. It's been...a struggle, obviously. ", explained Nick. Veronica looked at her father, then to Arabella and finally at Nick. "Last night was...messy. But we've all been there. So why don't we start over with two glasses of ginger ale?", offered Veronica. "I'll drink to that only if chipmunk forgives me.", said Nick and looked at Arabella. Veronica gave a confused look. "I don't know what you're talking about.", lied Arabella. Suddenly a pair of hazel eyes caught her attention. "If you excuse me?", she asked. Arabella ran to Daniel Santos only to drag him to dance with her. He of course said yes.

"Ladies and gentlemen, a new story begins in Riverdale tonight, a story about reinvention and aspiration. This building is our first chapter of that story. Luxury apartments, shopping and even a golf course.", said Hiram. "The Southside as we know it will be gone, replaced with a new Eden.", as this sentence left Hiram's lips Arabella stopped. She just looked at him, with no emotions in her eyes. Daniel noticed that, and pulled Arabella in a hug. "It's okay.", he said. "It's okay." "Thank you.", she said softly.

Josie and the Pussycats started to sing and Arabella decided to dance with Daniel again. But her eyes never left Cheryl Blossom and Nick St.Clair.

A few minutes went by and Arabella saw Cheryl getting out with Nick. She left s clueless Daniel and ran after them. Arabella ran as fast as she could into the five seasons. She saw Nick laying down Cheryl. "Hey you pig!", she screamed. "Stop it!" "Or what chipmunk?", asked Nick and slapped Arabella and threw her on the floor. Veronica and the Pussycats ran into the hotel room only to see an unconscious Arabella and Cheryl.

"If you hadn't come when you did---", began Cheryl. "Where the hell is he?", interrupted Archie. "You can put away your cape. The Pussycats already saved me." "I feel so sick about this.", said Veronica. "Nick's a monster.", said Arabella. Her cheek was still red, probably forming a bruise. "Why were you there actually?", asked Josie.  "It's not important. All that Matt is that Cher is safe.", said Arabella. "No Ara, it's important to me.", said Veronica with a serious face. "When I was nine years old Nick tried to drown me.", said Arabella. "He what?!", shouted Archie. "It's okay now. I'm over it." "No it's not! I should've known!", said Veronica. "Then you should've been around!", said Arabella angry and left the room.

Daniel Santos laid in bed and was falling asleep. His phone rang. "Hey Ara.", he said tired. "Dan, I need to tell you something important", she said. "What's going on?", he asked. "Promise to help no matter how crazy it sounds okay?", she asked. Daniel smiled at the girl on the phone. Her ideas crazy? Never! "I'm listening.", he said. "I want to save the Southside!", she said determinated.

Okay that was a crazy idea.
