It was official. Riverdale has it's own serial killer. It's own Michael Myers or Axeman. But he goes by the name Black Hood. Terror was seeping into the bedrock of Riverdale. Which led to it to Mayor McCoy to set a town hall meeting. People were afraid to walk the streets alone, especially as dusk approached. Shops closed early, locks were added to doors. Suspicions between the North and Southside deepened...fanned to flames by Alice Cooper.

"To be honest we had no idea what Archie and Daniel were thinking.", said Veronica. "They didn't say anything about this video?", asked their mother. "Are we our boyfriends's  keepers?", asked Veronica. "Daniel isn't my boyfriend.", mumbled Arabella.

"This isn't something to joke about." "It's a video" "Yes, threatening violence.", said Hermione angry. Veronica looked over to her dad. "Can you please tell mom she's overreacting?", said Veronica. Hermione gave Hiram the "you better agree with me or die" look. "On this, I stand with your mother.", said Hiram. Arabella sat there looking at her family. It looked like they didn't care that she was there. She stood up and took her bag. "Fuck this, I'm out!"

Meanwhile Archibald Andrews entered his home to see his twin sister and his father watching his video. "So what did you think? That I wouldn't see this?", asked their Dad. "I was pissed off.", said Archie. "So what? That gives you the permission to make that video?", asked his sister angry. "We were all pissed off Jolene. We were trying to send a message. Scare the Black Hood.", said Archie.

"More likely you'll antagonize this maniac and become a target.", said Jolene. "Take it down. Right now, while I can see it.", said his dad. "And while that, Daniel shouldn't be part of this.", added his sister. "I already did, the original post, but people keep sharing it." "Good grief Archie."

The Jones siblings were on their way to the cafeteria to meet up with Toni. Jughead was of course talking to Betty on the phone. Suddenly both hear two familiar voices.

The Serpents were watching the video of Daniel and Archie. "Guess we're not watching funny cat videos.", said Jughead sarcastic. "Check this out.", said Sweet Pea and turned the laptop to Jughead and Sage.

"Some sick-in-the-heads Northsiders posted a video and we were just talking.", said Mila. "About what?" "Fogarty and his brother wants to earn their Serpent stripes. Bring us that Northsiders's heads and you're both in.", said Sweet Pea. "We're down with that.", said Liam. "No, guys. No--", started Jughead but gor cut off by Sweet Pea. "What Jones?" "Me and Sage know those guys. They're milquetoast. They're football players.", said Jughead.

"It's a lame target. That's all we saying.", said Sage. "You wanna prove something? Why don't you go after the Black Hood." "Why would we do that? He's targing Northsiders who blame us for everything wrong in this town.", said Brooklyn. "We're sick of it. Black Hood's doing our work. He's a hero.", cheered Mila.

Archie and Daniel were walking together down the hall. Students kept starring at them like they were crazy. Maybe they are. They were walking with pride until they saw Veronica and Arabella Lodge coming towards them. Both pissed as hell. Arabella took Daniel's hand and led him to an empty classroom.

"What were you thinking?", asked Arabella calm. "I just want to protect us from this lunatic idiot." "No Daniel. The only idiot I see right now is you. Because of that video my parents want Veronica to break up with Archie.", said Arabella angry. "Ara, I don't see what your dad's problem is. He pretty much gave us the idea.", said Daniel.

"He gave you this idea?", asked Arabella kind of taken back. "Yes, but I have to protect my little sister.", after Daniel said that, he went and took Arabella's hands in his. "Holly has Ron to protect her, but Annabelle has only me. I also want to protect you.", as Daniel said the last sentence, Arabella looked into his eyes. She felt herself getting lost in those hazel eyes of his. "We will protect Annabelle together Dan. I'm always here.", said Arabella and went closer to him. Their foreheads almost touched each other. Suddenly a voice broke them over. "Archie Andrews and Daniel Santos please report to the principal's office.", spoke their principal. Daniel got his bag and winked at Arabella. "What did just happen?"

"We will find you. We will hunt you. And we will end you? These are your sentiments. And they are hardly comforting.", said Principal Weatherbee while he looked between the boys. "You have our word, only one person should be scared by that video.", said Archie. "You're off the football team, both of you Mr. Andrews and Mr. Santos effective immediately. In fact, there is no football team. Not until this Red Circle insanity is over. If, by week's end, you haven't written a signed letter apologizing to the entire Riverdale High community and disbanded the Red Circle, your suspension will begin. And will continue until you're complied. Care yo rethink your position?", asked their principal.

"It's crazy time, sir. We all have to do what we think is right.", said Daniel.

Betty Cooper kept starring at an envelope she received this morning. Kevin Keller suddenly walked in and took a seat besides the blonde. "Betty?", asked Kevin. "What is it?" "I was going through the Blue and Gold mail...and got a letter from the Black Hood killer. He says he's doing it for me.", said Betty. The door of the school newspaper opens and reveals a young couple. Kevin seemed to recognize them because he went and hugged them. "You must be Betty Cooper. I'm Bailey Keller detective of the year and this is my boyfriend Officer James McCullen. We're here to help.", said Bailey.

"Wait, so you got a letter from that psycho saying that your speech inspired him? Yeah that's crazy!", said James repeading everything Betty just told them. "And he also said that you could only solve this cipher right?", asked Bailey. Betty slowly nodded. "We have to give this to dad.", said Kevin. "The cipher yeah, sure but not the letter. This---This is just for me. We can't tell anyone.", said the blonde frustrated.

"It's evidence.", began James. "If we give this to your dad Kevin, Bailey, he will tell my mom. She will make sure I'm nowhere near this" "Good." "No! This...is a test. He said so himself. What if...the start of this test is to see what I do with the letter. Do I share it? Or not? Am I---? Am I strong? Or am I week? Am I worthy?", said Betty stressed.

"He is a psychopath Betty and you are in high school not the FBI.", said Kevin serious. "But she would be great.", said his sister. Kevin just glared at her. "Isn't it better for people focus on the cipher than the letter?", asked James. "How would that happen?", asked Kevin angry. All of them looked at each other. They had an idea.

"Damn it, Andrews. I told you we shouldn't have made that video. And now Weatherbee suspended the team? What if he comes after us next?", asked Reggie frustrated. "That's why you wear hoods, all the heat's on us.", defended Daniel Archie.  "And you Santos, you shouldn't have done it in the first place.", said Dilton. "But it's not. It's falling on all of us. So please bro...sign the letter.", begged Reggie.

"No. We disband now what message does that show the Black Hood? That we're weak. Helpless. No, we wanna forche his head.", said Archie. "By doing what exactly?", asked a boy. "By going to his home turf. The Southside.", said Archie confident. "What? Are you insane?", asked Daniel surprised. "I've gone over this. Mrs. Cooper is convinced Black Hood is a Southsider with an ax to grind. It makes sense when you think about who he attacked: my dad, a Northsider. Moose and Midge, both Northside kids." "Grundy was in Greendale." "Yeah. But before that she tought here Doiley. Everyone saw our video and is riled up. We can assume the Black Hood is too. If there's even a chance that he's a Southsider, is going into his territory, making our presence known could draw him out.", said Archie. "The hunters become the hunted. That's one way to find him.", said Dilton.

"Nope. I'm done. We're done. Come on guys.", said Reggie and left together with Daniel and the others. Daniel couldn't put his family in danger. Especially Arabella. There's also another thing why he can't: his family name has a dark secret.

Jazmine Montgomery stood together with Aubrey Davis, her boyfriend's little sister Valentina and the Topaz sisters at her locker, it was the end of the school day and they packed some stuff. "Do you think the Black Hood will come after us next?", asked Valentina worried. "We're not sinners like the Northsiders and it was time for them to pay.", said Mila.

"Don't talk like that! No one deserves this shit.", said her sister Brooklyn. "I'm sorry Brook, but I have to agree with Mils. Northsiders have been on our backs since forever!", said Jazmine. "Says the one who's a Northsider!", said Brooklyn annoyed.

"Hey! Her father is Serpent, so is she Brook.", defended Aubrey her best friend. "You're not a Serpent either so why are you here in the first place!", said Brooklyn angry. "I live with Jaz, I'm gonna be a Serpent soon so shut your mouth!", warned Aubrey her. "Whatever.", mumbled Brooklyn and took Mila's hand. "Thanks Aubrey.", said Jazmine. "Don't thank me Jaz, it's why friends are here.", said Aubrey. Jazmine laughed and took Aubrey's and Val's hands and ran out of school.

Brooklyn dragged her sister to their trailer. "Let go of me!", screamed Mila and ripped herself off her sister. "Why did you say that?", asked Mila. Brooklyn stood silent. "Brook?", asked Mila once again. "I'm sorry." "You're sorry for what?", asked Mila confused. "Mili, there are some things you don't understand but promise me: you will never stop fighting.", said Brooklyn.

"I promise", said Mila and hugged her sister. "Oh, Toni is by Jughead."

Bailey and her boyfriend were together with her brother, Betty, Jughead and his friend Toni in Jughead's trailer trying to figure out the cipher the Black Hood send to Betty. "These symbols look so familiar to me. I've seen them before. It's driving me crazy.", said the blonde frustrated. "I can't figure out where." "Maybe if you loosened your ponytail.", suggested Toni. All of the others looked up in shock. "What? That was a joke guys.", said Toni.

"Betty's ponytail is iconic and beyond reproach.", quoted Kevin. "Kev, it's fine. At this point I'm willing to try anything.", said Betty and began to loose her ponytail. "Per Mrs. Paroo's books I've been looking for common-letter associations like T-H, A-N, I-N-G.", said Jughead. "I'm looking for doubles. Double L. Four-letter words like "kill".", said Toni. "Morbid." "We don't know if it's in English. Could be an anagram.", said James while he took Jughead's words out of his mouth.

"Like literally on top of my brain.", said Betty. "Let's go back to the basics. What do we know about him. Like who is he?", asked Bailey. "He's a white male, in his 40s. Like almost every serial killer ever.", explained Toni. "No, I mean, like, why...? Why is he killing people? Or at least, why now?", asked Bailey further. Betty looked at Kevin. "We know the Hood's obsessed with cleaning the town of sinners and hypocrites right? And he seems to be attacking anyone with ties to the Northside", said Betty.

"Here we go with the fake news again. You Northsiders and your privilege. All you do is demonize the Southside so of course you think the Black Hood's from there.", said Toni while defending her home. "It's not demonizing Toni-", said Betty but got cut off by Bailey. "It kinda is Betty.", the blonde decided to ignore the older brunette and stated her so called facts. "There's way more drugs and gangs and-", as she wanted to continue Toni cut her off. "The drugs which are sold primarily to Northside crackheads? What about Northside Neo-Nazis, the Red Circle? The red Psychos you mean. They're scaring my sisters and I don't want my sisters to be afresh of some lunatic idiot. I'm surprised you haven't said it yet." "Said what?" "That you think the Black Hood's a Serpent. We know how much you hate us.", said Toni angry.

"That's not true!", defended Jughead his girlfriend. "I don't hate the Serpents", defended Betty herself. "Yeah? Then why is it your boyfriend lies about sitting with us at lunch?", said Toni. Betty looked at Jughead but he just starred at the ground. "We have to go.", said Bailey to her little brother and boyfriend. "Yeah, I'm gonna get out of here too. I have sisters to take care of.", said the Topaz girl. "Okay we can walk you home. Or you can walk us home.", said Kevin after Toni looked at him.

A familiar redhead walked down the streets of the Southside. He pulled out a red spray dose. His mission? To paint a red circle. But for what? He began to spray a big red circle on a building. Which was a mistake! Soon enough some Serpents came out of a bar and saw Archie Andrews spraying the big red circle. "Hey!", called out Liam Fogarty. "What are you doing?" "Back off. I'm not here for you.", said Archie.

"Yeah? Then who's this message for, huh?", asked Tyler. "Oh, hell", said Sweet Pea and chuckled. "Don't tell me it's for the Black Hood. You believe this guy? People say we're the troublemakers.", said Sweet Pea. As Archie tried to leave, the Serpents stopped him. "Woah. Southside Serpents country. You can't come here and tag our turf. So, why don't you get back to the Northside...before somebody gets hurt.", suggested Liam.

"Get out of my way...or someone will get hurt.", said Archie serious. "You just made a big mistake.", said Sweet Pea and got his pocket knife. But suddenly Archie Andrews got out a gun of his backpack. "Who made a mistake?", he asked and pointed the gun to Sweet Pea. "What the hell man?", asked one of the Serpents. "Who made a mistake?", screamed Archie. The Serpents then began to leave and left Archie alone.

Veronica Lodge sat together with her sisters in her room. While she was reading, her younger sisters just goofed around. Until their mother came in. "Nice Tshirt. Will you wear it when Archie's arrested for reckless endangerment, or worse?", asked Hermione her eldest daughter. "Archie would never mom. He's being railroaded.", said Veronica. "You can say that...with absolute certainty after watching that video? Maybe you can. Or maybe you're just being loyal.", said her mother. Victoria and Arabella began to listen closely.

"But let me tell you something about loyalty. There's nothing more honorable than it. Noble even. But blind loyalty? That is a stupid and dangerous thing. I pray that's not the case of you and Archie.", said her mother.

What does this word actually mean? Were Arabella and Daniel loyal towards each other? As the thunder tumbled, Arabella remembered something once her father said: "Some people aren't loyal to you. They are loyal to their needs of you. Once their needs change, so does their loyalty."

Was she loyal to Daniel or does she feel like she has to be loyal to him?

Veronica and Arabella Lodge were both asleep peacefully. Until the sound of a phone woke them up. "Archie? What the hell is going on? Are you okay?", asked the raven haired girl. "I need you to get something for me Ronnie."

The next thing Arabella remembers was that her sister woke her up and told her to hurry. "Why are we here? At the school's bathroom?", asked the brunette. "Archie said to get something for him.", answered Veronica. But what Archie didn't tell them, that the thing was in fact a freaking gun!

"At least you were smart enough not to keep it in your locker. But a gun?", heard Arabella her sister yell. "They're still fighting.", said Arabella. "Calm down babydoll. It's not their first fight.", said a girl. "Who are you?", asked Arabella confused and looked at Kj who was sitting at the counter. "I'm Jolene. Kj's older sister and Archie's twin.", introduced Jolene herself. Archie had a twin? Since when? "Hey Jo, have you heard? Reg is coming over with pizza!", said Kj excited. "You love pizza. Perfect!", said Jolene bored.

"Is she always like that?", asked Arabella. "No. I think she just finished the last Harry Potter movie and is mad at JK Rowling.", said Kj and put a blueberry in her mouth. Arabella just laughed at her friend. "Hey, uh you kids want some pizza?", asked Reggie as he walked into the kitchen. Both girls looked at each other. "It's not poisoned", he added. "Hell yeah!"

"Parents of Riverdale, I've heard your concerns.", said Mayor McCoy. "Ugh I hate these stuff.", said Amy McCoy to Jenna Blossom and Cory Keller. "Why are we here again?", asked Cory bored. "Because Ara doesn't have time. And I didn't want to be alone. I have problems okay?", said Amy offended. "Aren't those her parents?", asked Jenna. "Oh yes, they are. Her dad looks like a mafia boss.", said Cory. "He totally does!", said Amy agreeing with her friends.

"About Dan's video...", started Jenna. "Please let's talk about something different.", said Cory. "Amy, Jenna have you ever heard of the Southside Serpents?", asked Cory curious. Both girls shook their heads. "The Serpents are a gang which most people on the Northside think of dangerous, including our parents. But they're pretty cool if you know some of them.", explained Cory. "Now I want to be a Serpent.", said Jenna. "Me too girl. Me too.", said Amy and patted Jenna's shoulder.

"To what do we owe this unexpected honor?", asked Jolene. "Archie could've told Weatherbee the hood was mine but he didn't. In the book of Reg that makes you a top-tier loyal badass.", said Reggie. "And were talking today, and decided if you wanna keep the Red Circle going...we're here for you dude.", said Daniel smiling. Suddenly motorbikes were heard outside the Andrews household. Kj walked to the door to see what was going on. "Archie, trouble!", said his youngest sister. As Archie opened the door he saw the Serpents from the Southside.

"How stupid are you Northsiders? You really think you can come to my house stick a gun to my face in front of my boys and there wouldn't be any payback?", said Sweet Pea angry. "You have a crap timing bro.", said Reggie and opened the door widely to reveal himself and Arabella. Sweet Pea saw the short girl and for a minute he stopped breathing but then he winked at her and turned back to Reggie who said "Bulldogs eat Serpents for lunch. And stop starring at her. She's off limits." "We'll see about that and I already have a wonderful girlfriend. And the more, the merrier.", said Sweet Pea.

"Hey chill. Veronica, stay here with the others.", demented Archie. "What? Archie no." " Veronica after my dad...I made a promise to protect him and this house. Stay here.", said Archie and turned to Sweet Pea. "If you want a fight, we'll fight." "What about your gun?", asked Sweet Pea."What about your knifes?" "How about no weapons?", suggested Kj. "If you insist on doing this, there are gonna be rules. Or should I call Sheriff Keller to be referee?", asked Kj once again. Sweet Pea nodded his head. Meanwhile Arabella had a bad feeling about all of this.

"Budget is tight. We are putting together a helpline you can call to report suspicious activity.", said Cory's dad. "Sounds an awful a lot like the Red Circle hotline to me.", said Alice Cooper. "Because it is!", whispered Amy to Jenna who shushed her. "No offense Cor, but your dad isn't the best police officer.", said Amy. "Hey! He's just doing his job.", answered Cory offended.

"I'm wondering when you're actually gonna address the real problem in Riverdale: the Southside.", said Alice Cooper. All three kids looked up in shock. "All in due time Alice.", said Amy's aunt. "We're here to talk about the Black Hood. Sheriff Keller has a plan he's putting in place, beginning with a town-wide curfew.", continued the Mayor. "Your aunt is feisty.", said Cory. "You should see her at family game night.", answered Amy.

"Curfew? We need to show strength, not cower. Let's start by closing down that drug-ridden Southside High use the money to bolster our police department. Hire more deputies who can actually protect our children.", said Alice once again. "Is she mad or something?", asked Cory. "I smell drama. Let's go to Pop's, I'm paying.", said the youngest McCoy. With that, the girls and the boy got up and saved themselves.

The rain was pouring and all you could see where two gangs. The Southside Serpents, the misunderstood ones. The ones that care about each other all the time. A family. And the others were Riverdale High's varsity football team the Bulldogs. The overrated ones. People think of them as angels, but not all of them are.

Sweet Pea and Archie stood in front of each other. Until Archie throw the very first punch. The war began! Thunder was crushing and the boys? They threw punches at each other. The fight was going out of control! As they fought, Archie saw Dilton getting out a pocket knife. "Dilton!", he screamed but got punched in the face. Sweet Pea saw how weak Archie was so he began to kick him. Until a shot was heard. Veronica Lodge pulled the trigger right on time. She didn't throw the gun in Sweetwater River. She never did. The Serpents got back on their motorcycles and went home.

Jazmine Montgomery was asleep. She heard a knock at her front door and groaned. The knock got more aggressive so she pulled herself out of bed and went to the door. As she opened she couldn't believe who she saw. "Hey princess. Can I come in?"

"Sit down Sweets. I'm gonna go grab the first aid kit.", said Jazmine. She went to the small bathroom and grabbed it. "How did this happen again?", she asked again her boyfriend. "Got into a fight with that redhead Northside Psycho kid.", said Sweet Pea and groaned out in pain. "You mean Archie Andrews?", asked Jazmine. "Yeah, him and this friend of his Daniel.", said Sweet Pea. "My cousin Archie is a completely idiot. But so are you.", said Jazmine laughing. "What's that supposed to mean?", asked Sweet Pea and pulled Jazmine onto his lap.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and giggled softly. "Have I ever told you how much I love you?", asked Sweet Pea. "Yes, everyday and I really enjoy it.", said Jazmine flirty. They slowly began to kiss each other. With each and every time, their kiss becomes more and more passionate, until someone disturbed them.

"Ew, get a room!", said Aubrey disgusted. Jazmine and Sweet Pea looked at each other and kissed again. Aubrey rolled her eyes and left the young couple alone.

Arabella Lodge was on her way home as she felt footsteps behind her. She began to walk faster and faster until she ran. Half of the end of her way she began to walk again. But this feeling didn't let her go. It never did and never will.

She was finally home. Arabella realized that no one was home. Victoria was once again with Drake, Veronica was with Archie but what about her parents? Ugh never mind. She went to her room and got out of her uncomfortable boots. But as she wanted to lay down on her bed she saw a beautiful purple box with a black bow on top.

As she opened the box, she couldn't believe what she saw. Old family pictures of her family. Back when she had one. Suddenly her phone rang. It was an unknown number. "Hello?", said Arabella. "Hello Arabella. We haven't introduced each other yet.", said a deep voice. "Who are you?", asked the young girl. "I've been watching you the whole time, such a pity that you still don't know me. How's your godfather Fred Andrews doing?", asked the man.

"Wait! No, you can't be." "Say who I am Arabella Florence Queen. Say it loud and clear." "You're the Black Hood.", said Arabella scared. "Yes, that's for now. You will hear from me.", with that the call ended.

Arabella couldn't bear to close her eyes. The Black Hood called her an hour ago! But why her? The Black Hood didn't lie about following her, but he knew stuff, other people didn't knew
