As our beautiful princess Arabella made herself ready for school she got a call. "Hello? Emily is that you?", asked Arabella. "Ara! It's me, Emily!", the girl on the other line yelled. "I know bae. What's going on?", asked Arabella worried. "You remember when you asked me to investigate the Lodge family? You won't believe what I found!", said Emily excited.

This can't be. They have a third child!", whispered Arabella. "Yes, and her name is Riley." "Thanks Em. I have to go", and with that Arabella hung up. Arabella walked in on her parents and Veronica talking. "Dad, can I invite two friends too? It's for homework!", added Arabella and smiled sweetly. "But of course mija", said Hiram. Arabella and Veronica kissed Hiram on the cheek and said their goodbyes.

Meanwhile the boys had football practice. "So you and the little princess huh?", smirked Cory Keller. "No we're just old friends.", said Daniel. Cory raised his eyebrows. He didn't believe that at all! "So you and Jenna?", asked Daniel mocking his friend. "I guess", said Cory.

"Are we gonna start or what? Where's Coach Clayton?", asked Archie. "At the hospital with Moose and Midge.", said Reggie. "What?", asked Daniel. "Hey guys!", called Archie. "I only know what coach told me. Last night Moose got shot multiple times by some lunatic at Lovers Lane.", continued Reggie. "Oh my God...", thought Archie. "No Arch, he's alive. So's Midge. He liked shielded her with his body. She didn't get hit. Practice is canceled.", said Reggie.

"It was full-on Carrie, Midge covered in Moose's blood screaming like a banshee.", told Kevin the others. Blood. This word gave Arabella chills. She closed her eyes and remembered that day. The day she lost everything. Arabella got up from her seat walking past her sister and friends. She couldn't hear this word any longer.

She ran into the girls bathroom just to pump into someone. "Watch where you're going you imbacil!", screamed the girl. "I'm sorry?", said another voice. "Lynn who do you think you are to talk to my friend like that?", asked Jenna. "Excuse me, I'm your older sister unfortunately.", said Lynn and went out. "I'm sorry for her.", said another voice. "I'm Cheryl and that was Lynn.", introduced Cheryl herself. "I see you're friends with my new found sister?", asked Cheryl. "Arabella is the one who actually helped me.", said Jenna. All three girls stayed and talked. Just talked.

Meanwhile Cory, Daniel, Archie and Reggie went to see Moose. "Your nurse is hot. What if you pop a boner during a sponge bath?", asked Reggie. The boys only rolled their eyes

"And it wasn't a ski mask? He was wearing a black hood for sure?", asked Cory. "Anything else you remember about how he looked?", asked Daniel. "His eyes.", said Moose. In that moment Archie zoomed out and had a flashback. "They're green, right?", asked Archie. "They were blank.", said Midge behind Archie. "Like there wasn't a person behind them", she added. "He was like Michael Myers. He had the devil eyes"

Jughead finally arrived at Southside High. His sister Sage arrived earlier than him of course. "Forsythe Pendleton Jones III", said a girl. "Uh... It's Jughead actually.", said Jughead nervous. "I'm Toni Topaz and these two are my little sisters Mila and Brook.", introduced Toni herself and sisters. "We were supposed to give you the full animatronic tour-", said Brooklyn. "-But some robots went insane and started killing the guests so we'll just wing it.", interrupted Mila her older sister.

"Classrooms don't have Wi-Fi, bathroom stalls don't have doors.", started Toni. "What about the Red and Black ?", asked Jughead. "Yeah, it no longer exists. Censorship? Budget cuts? Take your pick.", answered Mila cool. "To your right you'll find a glimpse of jingle-jangle being consumed in it's natural habitat.", said Toni. "I'm sorry, jingle-jangle?", asked Jughead confused. "This place is crawling with the JJ. A highly addictive total gutter drug.", explained Brooklyn. "So let's not touch that.", joked Toni. "Jingle-Jangle. Fascinating.", said Jughead impressed.  "Here in the cafetorium Ghoulies sit over there.", explained Toni. "Rival gang, drug dealers, street racers, rumors of cannibalism.", added Brooklyn. "And we sit over there. With the Serpents.", said Toni and pointed to one of the tables.

"You're Southside Serpents?", asked Jughead. "Why do you think we volunteered to give you the tour?", asked Mila sarcastic. "Those by the way are Tyler McMiller and Liam Fogarty. The two who are sucking on each other's faces are Jazmine and Sweet Pea. The girls who look disgusted are Aubrey and Valentina. And that's Fangs.", introduced Mila the others. "Yo, Bones! Save me a pudding!", shouted the girl to Liam. Brooklyn and Mila went to sit with the others.

"Okay you two, stop eating each other. ", joked Brooklyn. Sweet Pea let go of Jazmine's lips and looked at Sage. "Isn't that your brother?", asked Sweet Pea. Sage turned around to see a boy with a beanie. "Yes Sweets, he is my brother.", she said bored. "Hey Toni. Why isn't he coming over?", asked Jazmine. "My brother is a loner.", answered Sage for Toni.

But soon Jughead would understand what the Serpents really are.

"Moose and Midge described him. Same guy that shot you, same hood, eyes.", said Archie to his dad. "Well, maybe and maybe not.", said Fred. "Dad it's him", said Archie. "Archie stop.", said his twin sister Jolene. "If Sheriff Keller's not gonna take that seriously,  I think we should... be ready. Like maybe we should buy a gun, just to be armed in case-", said Archie. "Easy okay? Ease up on that. We're gonna let the cops do their job.", said Fred.

In that moment Kaylie decided to speak up. "I agree with dad Archie, 'armed'? What the hell are you even talking about? But at some point, Archie is right too.", she said. "You're just a kid Kj, you don't understand this.", said her father. She was just a kid? She didn't understand? She understood more than they knew. She got up and went to her room. A sleepover was waiting.

Kj and Daniel sat in Arabella's room. "So how are you holding up?", asked Daniel. "I'm good", she answered. "But life is tough with a murder on the loose.", she added. It looked like this conversation is dead. "I'm gonna go find Ara.", said Daniel. Kj just nodded. When did they become so distant?

Meanwhile Arabella got some snacks for the others. As she walked pass Veronica's friends, Archie locked eyes with her. He knew what was going on. He just knew it. In that moment Hiram and Hermione came in. A little after Daniel came along. Veronica introduced her friends.  "Archie Andrews. The boy who captured my daughter's heart.", said Hiram. Arabella and Daniel looked at each other and giggled. "And who's that?", asked Hiram Lodge his youngest. "Oh, I'm Daniel Santos sir. Me and Arabella are old friends.", introduced Daniel himself.

"Bye dad. Have fun.", said Arabella as she took Daniel's hand. They both ran back to Kj and talked the whole night.

The next day Daniel and Kj left early and Arabella went to Veronica's room. Apparently their father invited both, Daniel and Archie for dinner. "Ronnie, I don't think that's a good idea.", said Arabella. Veronica didn't want to respond so she just gave Arabella the look.

In that moment Hermione walked in. "About Daniel and Archie coming for dinner... I wouldn't push that if I were you two.", she said. "We're not. Daddy invited Daniel and Archie.", said Veronica. "Daddy wants to please his little girls.", said Hermione. Arabella wanted to walk out but then her mother grabbed her hand. "And you want your father's approval.", she said to Veronica. Arabella went out of the room.

She didn't want Daniel to come over. Something will go wrong.

"We're under attack.", said Archie Andrews to his football team. "And by we I mean our friends, our families. This time it was Moose and Midge. Next time it could be  you, your girlfriend, your family. It's time to do something about it.", added Archie. He wanted to start a watch group! Cory raised his hand. "Yes Cory.", said Archie. "We're out Archie.", said Cory pointing to himself and Daniel. Archie looked confused. "We have a lot of homework Arch, and I have to take care of my little sister.", explained Daniel. Then both boys exited the classroom.

"He's crazy!", said Cory as him and Daniel walked to Pop's. "I think it's a good idea. It can be useful.", said Daniel. "Useful? For what?", asked Cory jokingly. "I don't know. Maybe you're right.", said Daniel. He couldn't admit it to his best friend but the idea of Archie impressed him. "Hey we're here.", said Cory. Daniel totally forgot that Arabella wanted to talk to him. "I'm gonna leave you and your princess alone now.", said Cory to Daniel. "Get home safe!", yelled Daniel. Cory just gave him a thumbs up.

As soon as Daniel went into Pop's, he spotted Arabella already sitting in a booth. "Hey loverboy.", said Arabella. "Hey princess, sorry I'm a little late.", apologized Daniel. "No problem. I wanted to talking to you about the dinner.", said Arabella. "Don't worry. Everything will be alright.", said Daniel calm. "I hope you're right.", said Arabella nervous. "Of course I am.", said Daniel proud. Arabella let a small giggle escape her lips. She felt happy and safe with him. As if nothing matters except him. But how long would that last?

The Topaz sisters decided to help Jughead reopen the Red and Black. "Why do I have to be here again?", whined Mila again. "Sweets said they'll pick us up, so stop whining.", said Brooklyn annoyed. "Well it's not New York Times.", said Jughead. "No shit.", added Mila. Toni decided to ignore her younger sister's comments. "But hey, kudos on finding your safe space snowflake.", said Brooklyn happy. "Now all you need is a photographer with an amazing eye and hunger for social justice. Lucky we have one right here.", said Mila sarcastic while she pointed at Toni.

In that moment the door opens and Sweet Pea walked in with his girlfriend and friends. "Thank God!", said Mila in relief. "Topaz, let's bounce.", said Sweet Pea. "Jones wanna come with? We're going to the quarry.", asked Aubrey Davis. "Uh I don't have my beach bod yet", said Jughead nervous. "What? You'll ask for help from the Serpents but you won't hang out with us?", asked Liam. "Don't come crawling to us hat in hand, when some Ghoulie decides to earn his stripes by taking out FP Jones's kid.", said Sweet Pea.

"Duly noted. Thank you Sweet Pea. I appreciate what you and the Serpents have done for me, my sister and my dad. I do. But I'm done. No more favors coming your way.", said Jughead. In that moment Sweet Pea wanted to beat his ass. Lucky his sister Valentina crossed his way. "Hey, hey he made up his mind, okay?", said Valentina. "Take the hint Sweet Pea. He's just not that into you.", said Tyler jokingly. And with that the Serpents left.

Meanwhile the Lodge sisters are polishing cutlery for the dinner. "Why aren't you staying?", asked Arabella her sister Victoria. "I told you, Drake invited me to meet his parents Ara.", said Victoria calm. Arabella wished her sister would stay, as mental support.

"You're playing with the fire I want you two to know.", said Hermione to her daughters as she walked in. "We're polishing cutlery mom. In advance of our parents getting to know our boyfriends over dinner.", said Veronica. Arabella looked up in shock. "Daniel is not my boyfriend!", she piped out. Her mother seemed to ignore it. "That may be your agenda but it's not necessarily your father's.", said their mother.

"He's making an effort, me and Ara are,making an effort and even Tori is making an effort. The only person not making is you.", said Veronica. Victoria and Arabella looked at each other. They both decided to get the hell out of there!

Daniel Santos layid on his bed thinking about Archie's idea. It wasn't that bad! Daniel somehow needed to protect his little sister Annabelle from this lunatic son of a bitch. So he decided, to go with Archie and Reggie on patrol. At first, the Andrews boy looked confused, but then he smiled and led Daniel to the car.

"Huh. I thought no weapons.", said Reggie. "I've had this bat since I was 10.", said Archie. "Archie, check out the backseat.", said Daniel. As he looked, there were a few weapons that were pretty useful. And with that there adventure began.

As they were driving around, suddenly Ethel Muggs called. Daniel heard that someone was following her and Daniel could tell that she was scared. "Turn back to Hastings Street. Stay calm. We're on our way.", said Archie to the girl.

They drove by and started looking for Ethel. In that moment another car began to drive away. Daniel saw Ethel and ran straight to her making sure she was okay. "Archie!", yelled Ethel. Archie began to ask questions but Ethel was still in shock so she couldn't answer them. Daniel couldn't imagine what would've happened if they weren't there. He knew he had to protect his family. Including Arabella.

The Lodge family including Daniel and Archie sat for dinner. "So Veronica told me you and Daniel rescued the Muggs girl.", said Hiram. "Yeah, but the creeper got away. We need to be faster with our response time.", said Daniel for Archie. "Yeah, because you'd like to be ahead of the thread, I understand.", said Hiram. "So tell me, have you ever had rum?", asked Hiram.

"Rum? What, like the alcohol?", asked Archie. "Yeah, there's a signature Lodge family. I have some in my study. I know Daniel doesn't drink but would you like to try it Archie?", asked Hiram. The two boys stood up. But when Veronica wanted to go their father stopped and told her that he wanted to have a "man-to-man" talk. As soon as they left, their mother opened her mouth. "Poor little princess. The king will always keep her at arm's length.", she said to Veronica. "She'll never be allowed in his private throne room.", she added. Veronica and Arabella looked at each other. Their mother was way too drunk!

Hiram showed Archie and Daniel the portrait of Veronica. But where was Arabella? Hiram gave Archie the rum and lead both boys to sit down. "Not the sort your father approves of is it?", asked Hiram the young boys. "Uh rum? No, not-- not really sir.", stuttered Archie. "No I meant about your Red Circle.", said Hiram. "He's still trying to wrap his head around it, I guess. Me too still.", said Archie. Hiram turned his head to Daniel. "Um, my parents don't really know about my life.", said Daniel quick. He never really liked to talk about his parents.

"You know boys... i hope we can respect each other. You know, moving forward.", said Hiram. "Yeah, Yes. Of course Mr.Lodge.", agreed the boys. If they only knew. Hiram turned to Archie. "No more sneaking into my daughter's bedroom. Ever.", he said. "You know, and, uh, never...ever... hurt Veronica.", he added. "And if you ever hurt Ara, I'm gonna kill you. Understood?", he asked. Daniel slowly nodded his head. "You know I do have a thought about your Red Circle actually.", said Hiram. The idea if Hiram was wicked, indeed.

The next morning after the dinner, Arabella made herself ready. As she wanted to eat her breakfast she stopped. And she couldn't believe what she heard. Veronica wanted to be part of the family business. Without her and Victoria! She couldn't believe it. She grabbed her bag and stormed out of the Pembroke leaving her family confused.

Maybe it's better if she isn't involved into the family business. She can't forget why she actually came back. She has to focus on her investigation. But something felt wrong. She felt...watched. She began to run and suddenly pumped into someone. "Amy!", said Arabella happy. "Yeah, hey Ara.", said Amy while rubbing her shoulder. Arabella took Amy's hand and dragged her into school.

Jughead Jones walked to the Serpents table. He now understood what Toni meant. "Is this seat taken?", he asked. Toni took down her bag and let him have a seat. Jughead glanced over to his sister Sage. She gave him a small smile and turned her attention back to Mila Topaz.

Betty Cooper saw from the corner of her eye Kevin Keller together with Arabella Lodge and Amy McCoy. "Hey Kev!", said Amy. "There's Betty.", continued Arabella. Kevin just looked at her quick before going to class. Both girls ran behind him confused. "One question.", said Amy. "Yeah?", said Arabella. "Why were you running this morning?", asked Amy. "Oh. Uh. I thought I was running late. I'm sorry.", apologized Arabella. Amy seemed to believe her thank god.

Meanwhile Daniel and Archie were recording the video for the Blackhood. "This is a message for the coward calling himself the Blackhood.", started Daniel. "You think you can attack us from the shadows.", he continued. "But Riverdale is a lot stronger than you. And we're not afraid.", continued Archie. "See, there's only one of you. But we are legion. We're called the Red Circle. And we're coming for you.", spoke Daniel again. "We will find you. We will haunt you. And we will end you.", finished Archie Andrews.

Hiram Lodge sat in his study smiling to himself. How foolish were these boys? They will make themselves targets. That's for sure!

But to fight fire with fire? Is that really a good decision?
