Thank you so much for checking out my story! I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I will writing it.

Because this is an AU, I'll first explain some parts so you understand more of what is going on here. More will probably be added as the story continues.

1. Era/Time: The time this story happens is a year after when The Austere Academy happened. So for each age, just add one to whatever it was for each character at this time. Also, because there is no exact year the story happens I also don't have an exact year for you

2. V.F.D./ Count Olaf: In this AU, it will be as if the previous books never happened and there was no fire. At least, not yet...
The Baudelaires do not yet know who Count Olaf is because he never was their guardian. Eventually, he'll definitely come into play so don't forget about him

3.Kladora?: If you've read my other books you know I love this ship just as much as I love Dunclet. This ship won't be the main focus and if I do decide to have it happen, it's mainly about Duncan and Violet. In order for this story to work, there will be so little moments and mention of this that I can't even consider this a Kladora story (Sorry)

4.Parents?: As said before the fire has not happened so they are still alive. But I am very sad to tell you they will not be with us for the whole story.

5.Carmelita? Yes she is apart of this

6.Quigley? Because there had not been a fire, he is still with his siblings

7.Update Schedule? I will be updating on Wednesdays along with my other book. But, I'll be updating this second hand where I may not post every Wednesday but when I do update it will be on this day

8. Italics In a lot of the chapters, there is going to be a section in italics sandwiched between two •••. There will be a date in it and is considered a flash back from a certain character that will not yet be revealed (though you should be able to figure out who it is quickly). In case you don't, the name will be added at one point

9. Social Life Some background information is where The Baudelaires and The Quagmires know each other and our friendly with each other, but don't know each other that well.
