Monoma Neito Origin

"Freak!"

"Idiot!"

"Weak!"

"Copycat!"

"Always have to rely on others?"

"Villain!"

"Can't believe my son is so weak that he has to rely on others. You won't get anywhere."

These were common things. Many thought would swirl through the six year kid's head.

He's six. Does the world care? No!

The world, society doesn't care about people like Monoma. Or Shinso. Or Midoriya.

Monoma walks out of his room and slowly makes his way downstairs.

He steps into his living room to see his parents once again fighting.

"Why do we even keep him around? He's useless! Little shit can't even do things on his own! Gotta rely on others like the weakling his sorry ass is!" his mother shouted. Monoma his behind the sofa, trying his best to stay hidden.

"Yeah? Well you're the one who decided to keep him!" his father argued. "Should have gotten an abortion. But no! You just wanted to have a perfect little family! How the hell did that go?" his mother shouts back.

"I didn't ask for him to be such a mistake!" his father yelled.

The blonde boy's heard enough at that point. He quickly yet quietly rushes back to his room. On his way there, he runs into his mother's favourite vase, making it fall to the floor, shattering into a million pieces.

His parents had rushed upstairs due to the noise caused by the now broken vase.

When his parents see the scene, their eyes are filled with anger and hatred. "You rat! Can't do anything right! Go to your room you mistake!" his mother shouts. The boy quickly gets up and scurries to his room.

He shuts his door and falls to the floor, balling his eyes out. "They.. really do h-hate me." he whispers, his sentence breaking due to his crying.

Then and there, Monoma decides to leave. Leave his house. Run away. Where does he plan on going? He has no idea. But anywhere is better than there. Right?

He gets off the floor and rubs his eyes. He looks around before finding his light gray backpack. He steps over to his dresser and opens the drawers. He grabs most of his clothes and stuffs them in his bag. He grabs some of his stuffies and also squished them into his bag.

He zips it up and slings it over his shoulder. "What time is it?" Monoma mumbled while looking at his clock.

11:53 PM

He slips on his shoes and slowly walks downstairs. He heads into the kitchen and checks to see if his parents are anywhere to be seen. Once sure that nobody was near, he steps over towards the pantry and grabs some chips and other snacks.

He stuff them into another area of his backpack and zips it up. He then creeps slowly out of the kitchen and towards the front door.

He stops at the door and looks behind him.

Does he really want to leave?

He shakes his head softly and opens the door. Of course he does.

He walks out and shuts the door quietly behind him. He then starts his journey of searching for a new possible home.

After what seems like the boy walking forever, he stops to take a break at a dump. He overheard his parents talk about how at one point it was a nice beach. But that was years ago.

He starts to explore the trash filled area. He's able to find many broken things. Old keyboards, phones, laptops, stoves, even a car!

After some rummaging, Monoma stops and sits on the top of a fridge. A fridge!

The boy was snacking on some goldfish when he hears rustling. He snaps his head up and looks around. He then sees a small shadow emerge from behind a old washer.

"Hello?" Monoma calls out. The figure pokes their head out to reveal a green haired boy. "Hi!" Monoma says, smiling. "Want some goldfish?" he asks while holding out his rainbow bag of goldfish. The boy stares for a second before he walks over and climbs up on top of the fridge with the blonde.

"Here." he says while handing the fellow kid some of his precious snacks. The kid grins and gratefully takes the food. "I'm Monoma Neito. You?" he introduces himself while popping a yellow goldfish in his mouth.

The boy eats some green ones and pauses. "I'm Midoriya Izuku." the boys greets while holding out his slightly dirty hand. Monoma glances at it before smiling and shaking it.

"W-why are you out here?" Midoriya asks. "I ran away from home. My parents were mean because of my quirk. Plus kids at school didn't like it either. So I left! But now I dunno where to go." the six year old explains.

"What's your quirk, if you d-don't m-mind me asking." Midoriya asks innocently. "It's called copy. I can copy someone else's quirk for a couple of minutes." he explains while still eating his snacks.

"That's so cool!" Midoriya cheers happily. "R-really?" Monoma asks, genuinely shocked. "Yeah!" Midoriya beams while finishing his snacks. "It's not weak?" Monoma questions. "No! It's so cool and strong! There are so many possibilities to your quirk. Can you copy more than once? How do you activate someone's quirk? Can you copy mutant quirks? How do you copy them? Can you-" Midoriya gets cuts off by Monoma shaking the boy softly.

"Woah. Slow down please. My head hurts." the boy says quietly. "S-sorry. I tend to do that sometimes. I'm just really interested in quirks. It's like a hobby." Midoriya apologises.

"It's okay! Just, slower next time?" he asks. Midoriya nods and looks out at the sky. "The stars are so pretty!" Monoma stares. "Mhm! I like falling asleep to looking at them." Midoriya agrees.

"What do you want me to call you?" Monoma asks after a couple of minutes of the two staring at the sky in silence.

"Um. My 'friend' used to call me Deku which means useless. But, you can call me that if you want. Or you can say Midoriya or Izuku. Whichever. I don't mind." he says quietly at the beginning.

"How about Izu?" Monoma suggests. "I like it! Can I call you Noma? Or Nei?" Izuku asks. Monoma giggles and nods.

For the next two hours, the boys bonded with each other. Sharing a lot with each other.

Eventually, it came time where they would have to find a place for Monoma to stay, until the green bean suggests his home.

"And here we are!" Izuku says while showing the boy his home. It's just an old camper that's been cleaned up but doesn't working electricity. It doesn't have a shower either though.

"This is so cool Izu!" Monoma says while looking around the place. "Thanks! It took me forever! I have to take showers at this gym nearby." Izuku mumbles the last part.

"Hey Noma-Kun?" Izu pipes up. "Hm? Yes Izu-Kun?" Monoma asks while looking up from the couch he was sitting on.

"What do you want to be when you get older?" the green bean asks. "I wanna be a hero!" Monoma replies quickly. "We can be heroes together Izu!" Monoma adds cheerfully. "How? I don't have a good quirk.." the smaller mumbles. "So? Everything isn't about quirks." Monoma says, trying to cheer the smaller up.

"Yeah. You're right! We can be heroes together!"

After a couple of months of getting to know each other, they came up with an idea. "Hey Noma." Izuku calls out. "Yea Izu?" the other calls back.

"What if we became Vigilantes?" the freckled boy asks. "What's that?" Monoma asks while looking up from his book. "It's like a hero. But illegal? As long as we don't hit first and use our quirks, I think we should be good!" Izuku answers.

The blonde ponders the thought before agreeing. "Sure! But we should probably train!" he said with some enthusiasm. "Yeah! Then after we become heroes, we stop being Vigilantes." Izuku adds. "Yeah!" Monoma cheers.

After about a year and half of training, both boys were 7, and decided to start. They started of small, just helping here and there. But as they grew older, they became more and more involved. Taking on bigger and bigger threats.

It was just the two until a purple headed cabbage came into the picture.

And so, Ghost become more known. Along side by Mind Wipe and their boss...
