I feel that this is an important chapter,, I mean every chapter about Johnny is important but you know what I mean.

This involves his name and the mystery behind Seo vs Suh and how it probably came to be.

I'll get straight to it.

If you are going to be use/call him by his full ENGLISH name, use Suh.

Because that's how Johnny himself spells his last name.

Now, if he spells it as Suh, where did Seo come from?

I figured it was just behind the fact that everyone romanizes names that are not Latin based.

Here's a quick lesson since we're all intellectuals reading this book and like to learn and not be ignorant:

English is a Germanic based language, but it is heavily influenced Latin.

Therefore, when we take names from languages that have nothing at all do with Latin, we romanize the names using our own alphabet.

Many Asian languages (Chinese, Japanese, etc) have no Latin influence whatsoever.

So we "English-ify" it, (if you really wanna be a red neck).

So yeah, based on that, I hope we all understand/learned a thing or two.

There is only one way, and one way only to spell Johnny's Korean name in the most accurate way possible and this is how:

since we are romanizing his name, I think it's "fine" using Seo if we're gonna say Seo Youngho (?).

I'm not really sure tbh about this one (I don't like to state something unless know I know it for a fact)

But I think about it this way:

Suho of EXO's real name is Junmyeon.

But I can't tell you how many times I've seen Joonmyeon.

Either are accurate because it's only romanized, and the only true way of spelling it is in Hangul.

I think the same applies for Johnny's KOREAN name.

His English name, on the other hand... he's already shown us how to spell and all of us should take two seconds to respect this man's NAME.

It's Johnny Suh, not Johnny Seo.

I'm not here attacking anyone, I'm just here trying to get my man the respect and appreciation he deserves because he really does DESERVE IT.
