The Joestar's Muse | 2
If her therapist asked when did all her problems begin? Jolyne Cujoh would answer, ever since she was arrested. It didn't, in fact. It's more like over 200 years ago.
Jolyne looked from left to right, crinkling her forehead, frowning. She wandered around the very same road she escaped to from the prison guards. Her face was already spelling, "What now?"
"You looked lost," Hermes stated. "Would you like to visit your dad?"
Hearing that made Jolyne want to puke. "You should have never said that, Hermes!" she called out.
"Make it up to your dad for the how-many-years you've wasted. At least, get to bond with -"
"Did you even know how much his sudden departure affected me here!?" Jolyne places her green-painted index finger between her breasts. "He never cared about me in the first place! Like I didn't exist," she continued to complain.
Hermes placed her hand under her chin, digging through her chaotic mind.
"Well, that was tough," she just answered so as not to be embarrassed for taking too long to respond. In all honesty, Hermes doesn't know what kind of advice to give her since she and her family were on good terms.
"Tough, huh!?" Jolyne unleashed Stone Free's fist that's about to land on Hermes' face, but she quickly caught it with her hand. All that's left is to slap Kiss' stickers so it duplicates. She just didn't go on with it.
"I'm sorry that your dad, I mean, Mr. Kujo's neglecting you lately." Hermes smiled at the green haired. "For now, you need to understand -"
Jolyne just clipped the bridge of her nose with her thumb and index finger. "Hermes, I totally understand that the old man didn't even visit me in prison!" she stated sarcastically.
"You're hard to convince, Jolyne. I get that." But Hermes just won't give up like that. "Let me ask you, when are you going to see value in your dad?" she asked.
"He should prove to me that he has any, first. That's when I'll forgive him for his incompetence," Jolyne snarled, crossing her arms, giving Hermes a dirty look. Hermes' eyes widened when there's a truck moving at the quickest speed that's about to hit Jolyne, so she grabbed her arm, and they walked towards the earthy grasslands at the side of the road. Jolyne was catching her breath, and her hands were shaky.
"We've been staying at the middle of the road for too long, huh Hermes?"
Jolyne rubbed her right hand at the back of her head with her lower lip sticking out. Her right eyebrow was raising up, looking cluelessly at Hermes.
"I want coffee," Hermes said.
"Me too." And Jolyne nodded.
They walked to the nearest gas station where there's a store right beside. They bought food and sat down at the table near the window.
"I'm going to use the bathroom," Hermes reminded. "Will you watch over my pancakes?"
"I thought you just wanted some coffee!" Jolyne yelled, banging her hands on the table. But Hermes shushed and placed her index finger between her lips. She proceeded to run to the bathroom. Jolyne sighed.
"May I have a crumb?" asked a tall, white-haired guy. His small, blue eyes were staring at her, examining every fiber of her existence. Jolyne, on the other hand, locked her green eyes on his full, pink lips. He landed his ass down on Hermes' chair.
"Why are you sitting there? Go away!" she warned. "It's not yours. My friend went to the bathroom a while ago."
"You have quite the attitude, Jolyne."
Jolyne sucked on the air when she heard her name come out of his kissable lips, eyes widened, teeth clattering. How does this guy know her!? He isn't from here, is he?
"Who... how," she stammered.
"You mean, 'what?'"
"I... I'm going to call the co- I mean, Hermes on you!" Jolyne lifted her green-colored index finger towards the stranger. He just smiled at him sweetly as he took some dollars out of his expensive wallet.
"Then tell Hermes that I'm buying these pancakes from her," he said playfully.
"Who the fuck are you!?" Jolyne finally asked.
"I'm surprised that you didn't recognize me." He then took out a familiar disc, showing it to Jolyne.
"Weather... Report!?"
"Nope." He shook his head. "I'm Park -"
"I'm never going to the bathroom agai—holy smokes! Jolyne!" Hermes exclaimed as she blasted through the glass door of the store. "I didn't know you brought a handsome dude to our table? Is he your boyfriend?"
