My embarrassed gray eyes meet with the stranger's eccentric blue ones.

'Uhh, lets just pretend this never happened, yeah?' I fake a cheery voice.

'Sure thing,' the stranger nods, plastering an enormous falsified smile causing a dent to form on his cheeks, revealing the most adorable pair of dimples I had ever set eyes on.

I awkwardly nod and turn around, heading to the direction of the washroom.

I look at my face in the mirror, slipping my phone back into my purse. My caramel eyes glisten under the bright light radiating from the ceiling.

I look at my once, full of acne, face that was now left with only a few tiny scars. I pout at my reflection in the mirror. I, then, try to muster up a huge smile, preventing my teeth from being on display. Deciding I didn't like that, I attempt to smile leaving my not-so-white, white teeth on show, but immediately shut my mouth, scowling at my reflection.

A teenager, around fifteen, clears her throat next to me, struggling to cover up the sound of laughter threatening to spill from her lips, into a verified cough.

My eyes widen as realization hits me. I immediately scurry into one of the washroom cabinets as I find the girl run out of the washroom through my peripheral view. I shake my head at myself.

Well someday I might cross the street when we're on the same side
Just to skip the "how are you?" "I'm fine"

Wait, why am I singing-
Ah! who cares?

I spend the next half an hour singing the most random lines popping into my mind, until I realize I was dancing my ass off in the middle of the washroom.

I clear my throat, glad that no one was there to witness my, well, I like to call it amazing-ness. I straighten my clothes and bury my hand into the pockets of the warm material.

Wow, how did no one come into the washroom for the past half an hour. Weird.

I brush the thought away and switch my phone on to find a bunch of unread messages as it exploded with notifications from the group.

I roll my eyes, as I push the washroom door open, walking outside the enclosed room.

But before I could get any further, I find myself engulfed in complete darkness.

An unshakable feeling of fear fixes me as I stare into the black void in front of me. All I could see were bare outlines of the shelves that stood straight, taunting me from within the clouds of darkness absorbing me.

I look down at my phone.

I hear the sound of shuffling from one of the shelves at the front. My eyes widen as I stare directly at what could be my death.

I see an outline of a figure, slowly approaching towards me.

Oh my gosh! Is that a murderer? A serial killer? A shooter? A gunman?

I'm going to die

I'm sorry mum and dad for all those times I troubled you.

I'm sorry I threw a packet of bubblegum in the dustbin when I was five.

I'm sorry I mistakingly fed my goldfish manure back when I was eight and killed it.

I'm sorry I was the reason the gardener didn't come for work for over a week because I threw a baseball bat on his face instead of hitting the ball with it.

I'm sorry I-

'Uh, are you okay?' A deep voice questions from amongst the darkness.

It wasn't until then that I realize I was crouching on the ground with my eyes shut tightly.

I got up and brushed my hand through my clothes as I replied in a shaky voice, 'Listen, I don't know what you want with me but I'm just a normal human okay? I just got a little overboard with the dancing in the washroom and didn't realize the mall already closed. I mean the dance moves were totally killer. You should've seen how I sang the high pitch, it would put Ariana grande to shame, no joke and well-'

'Okay, okay, back up there. You think you can do high pitches better than Ariana? Hah, dream on,' the serial killer's voice echoes throughout the mall.

He emerges from within the shelves. His brown locks and bizarre oceanic eyes came into display as the light emerging from the partly open washroom door hit his masculine figure.

He was the jerk who stole Katy's sock! I mean he didn't, but let's just pretend he did.

'Try me,' I replied in a challenging tone, crossing my arms across my chest.
