Old Friends
Sora sighed as she looked around her. She felt a presence slowly walk toward her, and she smiled sadly as she stood up and took off her cloak,
"Hello, old friend,"
She was face-to-face with Darth Vader,
"You are still here,"
Nikki sighed and nodded,
"Yeah, I guess my own universe doesn't like me enough to take me back,"
"I heard they were sent back,"
Sora nodded her head,
"They were. I'm the last one standing after all,"
Vader sighed,
"Join me, Nikki, you don't have to run anymore if you join me,"
Sora, now known as Nikki, shook her head,
"I won't run anymore. I have been since my brothers betrayed us,"
Vader shook his head,
"The clones never betrayed us! The Jedi Council did!"
Nikki frowned and took a step closer to him,
"They might not have been perfect, but they could have been better! They would have never killed all those innocent lives!"
Vader scoffed,
"They allowed the war to continue. They never respected me!"
Nikki sighed,
"But we did. I did, Obi-Wan did! Padme did-"
Vader growled,
"Don't say her name!"
Nikki frowned and looked at his helmet,
"Why shouldn't I?"
"Because she died! None of your precious Jedi wanted to help me! I was trying to save her!"
Nikki sighed and shook her head,
"Anakin. Padme died because she was heartbroken by what you became. What you chose to do,"
"LIES! Lies told to you by Obi-Wan! Did you know he was alive?!"
Nikki nodded,
"I did. Flyer come back. I made a promise that one day, I would get you back. I intend to keep that promise today,"
Vader shook his head and stepped closer to her,
"You, of all people, should understand why I did what I did. I did not want to give up Padme. The order would have expelled me like they did with Ahsoka. They don't care about us, Tory. They never did. They don't care who we love or who we care about. They feared my power,"
Nikki sighed and shook her head,
"Then we will raise the next generation to not fear loss, that love is what makes us more powerful,"
Anakin shook his head,
"We must destroy the rest of the Jedi,"
Nikki sighed,
"But the clones did not just go after the Jedi. They went after the ones in the middle too! They went after Ahsoka. She left the order, Flyer, you know that! Yet they tried killing her for just being force-sensitive. They betrayed us all. The ones I called my brothers left me to die,"
Vader raised a hand to her,
"If you join me, I will make sure no one harms you ever again. I'll get you home to Lui and your siblings,"
Nikki sighed and glanced at his hand,
"Anakin, I can't join you. I won't go to the dark side. They would never forgive me,"
Anakin sighed,
"Lui loved you, you know. I tried telling him to confess, but he wanted to wait for the war to finish,"
Nikki felt a tear slip down her face as she looked at her old friend,
"He would have never been able to if he stayed. Last chance, Flyer, come home with me,"
Vader shook his head and ignited his red lightsaber,
"So, it has come to this,"
Nikki sighed and ignited her two purple ones,
"If it is meant to be-"
"It is meant to be,"
They immediately engaged. Nikki Mills against Anakin Skywalker. If you told the two many years ago that they would be fighting, they would laugh in your face. Anakin considered Nikki to be his younger sister. She was the only one he told about Padme, and she was his biggest supporter. They fought side by side with Ahsoka and Obi-Wan during the Clone Wars until the very end. Nikki was never seen without Anakin or Obi-Wan, especially after Ahsoka left the order and worked as a private investigator instead.
"You know, that training you made Soka and I go through helped. It helped us survive, Flyer,"
Vader paused as their sabers clashed,
"Ahsoka is alive?"
Nikki jumped over him and nodded as she raised her sabers in the same technique Ahsoka showed her,
"Yeah, I was just as surprised as you. After all, you did go to the crash site, too,"
Vader immediately clashed their sabers again,
"You lie!"
"I would never lie about my sister! Soka is alive! You can still see her! We can be that big cheesy family again!"
Vader laughed as he swiped at her feet while she jumped,
"Nothing will ever be the same, Nikki, give up on that stupid dream,"
Nikki sighed and looked at him,
"We were doing good, Anakin, we were winning! Obi and I took down Grevious!"
Vader slashed toward her again and she barely dodged,
"We would have never won! It was not our destiny!"
Nikki sighed as she finally went on the offense,
"Fine. Be that stubborn self,"
"I killed Anakin Skywalker, and I will kill you too, Nikki Mills,"
Nikki jumped out of the way as he managed to make a cut on her arm,
"I just got this armor! Come on!"
With Bail Organa
Bail Organa sighed as he sat down at his desk on the ship. His hope slowly died down as they searched for the missing Jedi,
"Come on, Nikki, don't be so foolish,"
Then he heard a beep, and his eyes widened when he saw the comm light up,
"Ben?"
In front of him stood the hologram of one Obi-Wan Kenobi,
"Senator Organa, where is my old padawan? I assume she was last with you on Alderaan."
Bail sighed and shook his head,
"It's bad, Ben...She went after him,"
Obi-Wan's eyes widened in shock,
"She what?"
Bail nodded,
"Yes, I do not know where she is. She escaped us and took one of our ships from the Rebellion,"
"She is in danger. I can sense it deep in the force. Her signature is becoming less clouded. You need to find her. How did she come to be with the Rebellion again? I thought she said no to joining the Rebellion,"
"Oh, one of my rebel groups found her on Dantooine with some old help that they were sent to retrieve. A kid found her, his name is Ezra Bridger,"
Obi-Wan's eyes widened in surprise,
"Ezra Bridger?"
"Yes, do you know the name?"
Obi-Wan scratched his beard and nodded slowly,
"I do recognize the last name. He is force-sensitive?"
"Yes,"
Obi-Wan nodded,
"Good, use Ezra to track down Nikki. Do it fast. I am unsure how much longer she can last,"
Bail immediately nodded and ended the transmission before speeding out of the room. He walked down the corridors to find Ezra with Ahsoka, Kanan, and the clones they found.
"Ezra,"
Ezra immediately looked over at him with a small smile,
"Hi, Senator Organa,"
Bail put a hand on his shoulder,
"I need your help,"
Kanan frowned in confusion, and Ezra nodded,
"Sure, what is it?"
Bail sighed and let go of his shoulder,
"How well do you know Sora?"
Ezra thought back to all the stories she told him as a kid,
"She's my godmother. She helped my parents when I was growing up until she left when I was five,"
Bail nodded,
"I need your help tracking her down,"
Kanan took a step toward him,
"Hold on, why do you need Ezra to do it? Ahsoka or I can do it,"
Bail shook his head,
"No, neither of you can. Her force signature is hidden. That is the force ability that she discovered after the purge happened,"
Ahsoka sighed and nodded,
"Unfortunately, he is right. I could not sense who she was when she boarded the ship. It was as if her signature was entirely clouded,"
Bail nodded,
"Only those that have been around her for a long time would be able to sense her again. I received a distress call, and she is in very bad trouble,"
Ezra frowned,
"That's what that cloud of darkness was,"
Kanan frowned,
"Cloud of darkness?"
Ezra nodded, and he looked at his master,
"Yeah, I got cold. I assumed it was nothing because neither of you two felt it...but if it's from Sora, then she must be in trouble, right?"
Ahsoka nodded,
"Then, let's go save a Jedi,"
Bail sighed and crossed his arms,
"She is not just a Jedi,"
The three looked at him in confusion, and Rex stepped forward,
"Sir, what do you mean by that?"
Bail looked around at them,
"Sora is one of the last Jedi Masters alive,"
Ahsoka's eyes widened,
"What?"
Kanan shook his head,
"I don't remember her,"
Bail chuckled sadly,
"She changed since the order was destroyed. She grew up very quickly, and she needs her friends,"
Ezra nodded,
"Don't worry, Senator, we will get her back,"
Kix nodded,
"I will go with them in case she needs immediate medical attention,"
Bail nodded,
"Thank you,"
They immediately piled into the Ghost, and Ezra closed his eyes as Ahsoka turned on the ship,
"Where are we going, Ezra?"
Ezra felt a pull in the force and frowned in confusion,
"Borleias? Why would be there?"
Cody walked up to him with Rex right next to him, and they both frowned,
"Borleias is a close planet to Coruscant. Not many go there,"
Rex nodded,
"Back during the Clone Wars, sometimes it was used as an extra training ground, it is pretty run down,"
Ahsoka nodded,
"I went there a few times with my Master and two others to train from time to time,"
Ezra nodded,
"She is there,"
Ahsoka nodded,
"Then we go there,"
Ezra meditated as he tried to find a more precise location on the planet. Then he felt his connection sever, and he screamed. Kanan immediately caught him as he fell,
"Ezra!"
Ezra shook his head as his eyes shot open,
"Sora! We have to step on it! She's hurt!"
Ahsoka nodded,
"Hold on tight!"
