I slipped out of Cole's grip and snuck into my cabin. It was around one in the morning. No one should be awake right now. I gently opened the door and grabbed some extra clothes. The bathrooms were empty, so I took a quick shower.

     After my refreshing shower, I got dressed and went back to Cole's cabin. My hair wasn't dry, so I was shivering. I opened the door and crawled back in bed with Cole. Then, I heard the Tardis. I didn't feel like dealing with the Doctor, so I slipped out of Cole's cabin and sat down on the beach. It was my thinking spot.

     I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see Leo, of all people, standing above me.

     "Hey," he said, "Can I join you?" I nodded. He plopped down next to me. I kept my eyes forward and concentrated on the ocean. It was so nice, the waves glistening and the stars reflecting off the water.

     "What's up? You seem distant lately. It's weird," he said.

     "It's complicated," I sighed. Leo laughed.

     "That's Mchizzle's specialty."

     I laughed. It felt good laughing, I haven't done it in a while. Percy sat down next to me and asked, "What are you weirdos up to?"

     "Just trying to cheer grumpy up," Leo said.

     "Hey!" I said and swatted at him playfully. We all laughed.

     "Seriously, though, what's the matter?" Leo asked. I looked away, back at the ocean.

     "The Doctor used my insecurity against me," I told them. I didn't want to tell them exactly what he said, because I was afraid they would make future references. I had trust issues. Major trust issues.

     "Why?" Percy asked.

     "I made a mistake," I said, still not letting on.

     "What could you possibly do to get scolded by the nice guy?" Leo asked.

     "I attacked your girlfriend in the past while she was with a goddess while she was Holly," I admitted.

     "That's not that bad," Percy said. I laughed.

     "It is if he was so mad he brought up my mom," I said. Percy looked shocked. Leo looked confused.

     "What's so bad about your mom?" He asked. Percy whispered something that I didn't quite catch. "That's just cold. Sorry Jade."

     I shrugged. "What can you do?"

     "Why don't you go get to sleep. See you in the morning," Percy said. I nodded. When I walked up to Cole's cabin, I peered in. I was shocked. The Doctor and Cole were in an intense argument. I left, not wanting to get into that. I went to my cabin and slipped into my bed.

     My dreams haunted me.
