Wake Up Sleeping Beauty
Hey Readers! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I kind of got grounded. The order of my book is all messed up so yeah. This chapter is after Life is Good Unless You're Sick. So Enjoy! I also changed the tense. My story is now in present tense.
I gently opened my eyes to a dark bedroom. I looked around, trying to sort out my surroundings. I know I'm not in my cabin. My hands search the air until I hit something hard. I sit up, trying to find the object I had discovered.
I hear a door creak. Light instantly floods the room. I put my hands up to shield my face. I hear footsteps and slowly uncover my face. Cole stands in front of me, his bright green eyes excited.
"Wakey Wakey Sleeping Beauty," Cole says. I giggle. I look at my surroundings. I am in a dark blue room with green stripes. Based on the awful coloring, I know we are in the Tardis.
"Why the hell am I in the Tardis, not that I don't like her, but why?" I say. Cole chuckles.
"Someone is grumpy. You are in the Tardis because it was the only way to get you to heal. The Doctor gave some of his regeneration to heal you," Cole says. "And Sky is getting lesson on how to fly the Tardis."
"She'll kill us all!" I scream. Cole laughs. I swing my legs over the edge of the bed and stand. I am surprisingly sturdy.
I walk out of the room, dragging my feet lightly. On the control deck, I guess, no one was to be found. I walk up the stairs and lightly skim my hand over the Tardis's control console.
"I missed you," I praise her.
"She always did like you," The Doctor says. I look at him for a moment, then sigh. I know I can't hold this grudge much longer. It really isn't him I'm mad at, it's my parents. I feel tears well in my eyes and I sprint towards the Doctor, relieved over the reunion. The Doctor hugs me back, and I feel the tears rolling down my face.
"I'm so sorry," I sob. "I was wrong and I just broke and.. I just..."
"I was at fault. I shouldn't have blamed you for my mistakes," he says.
"Doctor, I want to see what happened."
Cole's Point of View
After thirty minutes, Jade walks into the Tardis, looking slightly defeated. The Doctor trails behind her. Her dark brown hair looks slightly wind blown, and her chocolate brown eyes are glassy. She limply excerpts my embrace, sighing as she settles.
"Where did you go?" I ask. She looks at me.
"I don't want to talk about it," she says sharply. I am a little stunned at her harshness. I sigh. "Sorry," she says, "touchy subject."
"Oh," is all I say.
She snakes her hand around my head and pushes it slightly down, so I would look at her. "I love you."
"I love you too Jade," I say and kiss her.
The Doctor clears his throat. I sigh. Always interrupting good moments.
"I should get you chumps home."
"I think you need ta calm thy horses and relax thy muscles," Jade fires back. Oh yeah, this is why I love this girl.
"I think Shakespeare just rolled over in his grave," The Doctor says. I chuckle. Jade shoots me a look. I sigh.
