We arrive back at camp and I say goodbye to the Doctor. "Be careful," he whispers.

"Okay," I answer.

After the Doctor leaves, Cole puts his arm around my waist.

"What are we doing today, my dear," he says.

"Don't you start," I warn.

"We meet again, chica," says the sickly familiar voice. Cole looks at me. I turn. I see the thug from the night, the night I found out I was a demigod.

"What do you want?" I say, my voice coming out strong, despite the fact that I am scared out of my pants. We may be screwed

"He's with me luv," my other enemy says. Yep, definitely screwed.

"Percy!" I shriek. The big group of thugs lunge at us, but Cole grabs my arms and flies us up into the sky. He takes us to the cabins and I rush to find Percy.

"Percy!" I shout breathlessly. Percy looks at me.

"What's the matter?" he asks.

"Enemies from the first night(NOT Rot and Ruin)... allied...with Florida enemies...tried to...kidnap...us," I say. He growls.

"No one will hurt you again, I promise," he promises. I nod.

"Jade," Sky says. I look at her. "I think Cole is hurt." I look at Cole.

"Are you okay?" I say.

"It was a silencer. Just a bullet wound," he mumbles. I press my hand to his forehead and gasp.

"Cole, you're burning up." Then, he collapses. I grab some ambrosia out of my pocket and gently give it to him. He chews it slowly. I see noticeable improvements, but he passes out.

Three days. I sit at Cole's bed side for three days. Everyone tries to get me to leave, but I won't. I gently hold his hands, trying to get a response, but all I get is the cold and empty silence. I cry for a while, but when I run out of tears, I'm really just breathing heavily.

On the third day, Percy sits down by me. "We've contacted the Doctor," he says.

I shrug. Percy sighs.

"Look, I know this is hard but..."

"I can't live without him. You know that. I would rather die than loose him."

"I know," he says, defeated. Percy wraps an arm around my shoulder. I rest my head against his shoulder, and cry. We sat like that for about two hours, then he leaves, leaving me alone with Cole.

"Please," I whisper, "Please come back. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I love you, and I've been acting moody lately and I just wouldn't be able to take it if I lost you. You asked what we did that day in the Tardis, and I didn't answer you, so I'm going to tell you now." I take a deep breath. "I had to know. I had to know what happened to my mother. When I was a baby, she made a deal with the devil, I mean literally. Hades was collecting demigods. My mother was in a really tough spot, and he offered a lot of gold, so she accepted his offer. She brought me into the woods and met with Hades. Now, the Doctor had been on this case for a while now and he saw the exchange. He saved me and gave me to the nuns, making sure they would take care of me and teach me to be a good person. He came back every month to give them money to feed me and provide for my needs. He was devastated when he learned I had left. Cole, you are my everything. You once asked me what my world revolves around, and I said me, but really it's you. You are my every thought, my one true love. Don't leave me, I will die without you. I love you Cole, I really do. Please come back. I love you," I say. I put my head on the edge of the bed, giving up hope, when I feel someone place a hand on mine.

I look up to see a smiling Cole.

"I love you too, Jade."
