Chiron smiled when he saw us approaching. "So, any news? How did your trip go?" he asked. Annabeth was about to answer when I cut in.

"Other than being blown to bits, I'd say our trip went swell," I said. Leo and Sky cracked up. Cole smirked. Annabeth glared at me. Percy stayed silent.

"Who blew you to bits?" Chiron asked.

"Well," I said,"if we knew, why would we be standing here?"

"What she means," Annabeth said, " is that we have no idea who did it, we would be confronting them and not asking for help." Chiron rolled his eyes.

"Let us go study the area instead of bickering," Chiron said.

"Cole, I need to talk to you," I whispered in his ear. He gave me a funny look but complied. We walked to Cabin Three, Posieden's cabin. Cole turned on me.

"You have been acting strange lately. What's wrong? You can tell me," he said. His eyes were open and honest. I didn't deserve him.Then, I collapsed. I fell to the floor and sobbed. He crouched down beside me, taking me into his arms. I rested my head against his shoulder and cried. When my sobs died down, I looked up and saw worry written all over his face.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"It's just that I can't take the fact that I'm the one endangering everyone. It's not fair," I told him.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Remember when I told you that I pissed off some people down in Florida?" he nodded. "That was a error in the heater. Only an engineer could do that. I have a pretty good idea who did it."
