Cole's POV
I open my eyes to see fire. I am on an island in the middle of a sea of fire. On the other side of the island I see Hades, twirling a mysterious crystal in between his fingers.
"What do you want Hades?"
"Do you know what this is boy?" He holds out the crystal. I shake my head. "This is the Olympian Crystal. Any living thing I zap it with will cease to exist."
"Are you going to use it on Jade?" I growl. He laughs.
"No what I am going to do is much worse."
Jade's POV
I bust down the gates of hell but something doesn't feel right, it was way too easy to find out.
"Percy, what is he planning?" I ask suspiciously.
"I don't know but whatever it is it can't be good." The rest of the gang splits up as we search. Then I see a green shirt.
"Cole!" I run towards him. He is hung from the ceiling by chains.
"Look, whoever you are, get out of here. There is no hope." He looks up with tears in his eyes. I take a step back.
"Cole? This is not funny."
"Who are you?"
"I told him what I did would just be worse." Hades appears behind me and places his hand on my shoulder. I jump in front of Cole.
"What did you do to him!" I scream. He approaches Cole. Cole flinches. "Leave him alone!"
"Lady, get out. I am not worth it!" Cole yells.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" I scream. I feel my limbs fly out and I am surrounded by a blizzard. I feel the tears on my face freeze. He doesn't know me. He forgot me. I feel my power drain and I fall. I hear someone scream, but I don't care. Cole doesn't remember me.
