Life is Good, Unless You're Sick
Hey Readers! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I was at the beach and I got really tanned, so if you want to have me update more, please comment or vote! I appreciate it!!!!!
Cole's strong arms stayed securely wrapped around me. My legs gave way and I fell, leaning against him for support. He held me up, and said something that I didn't understand. His image began to blur. I felt like my body was disconnected from my brain.
Cole layed me sown in the sand then ran, probably getting help. I was so disoriented, my body was limp and unresponsive. All I could do was lay there, staring at the sky. My eyelids came down and I was in silence.
I felt my body get lifted, swaying slightly from someone walking. I felt the touch, but I couldn't respond. I could hear voices, but I couldn't put the words together. It all just sounded like slurred buzzing.
A sharp pain ripped through my head and I winced. Or at least in my head. I don't think I actually flinched. It shot thorough the rest of my body in painful bursts. In my head, I struggled against the pain.
I felt a hand caress my cheek and a pair of lips press against my forehead. More words I didn't understand. And pain. So much pain. It consumed me, pushing and pulling.
I was burning up. I felt it. The heat mixed with the pain was more than I could bear.
I began to drift away. I was floating, drifting. I was weightless. The farther I drifted, the less pain. Then, I let go.
