I put away the phone and make myself a new outfit. I put the dagger Percy gave me into my boot then I made a few more out of ice. I hear a groan and see Leo sit up and rub his eyes. "What happened?" He yawns.

"Well, we have been kidnapped and tortured, how was your nap?" I ask sarcastically. He looks at me funny then stands up, leaning on the wall for support. The phone starts vibrating on the floor. I answer it and listen.

"Jade, they are selling your soul."

"What?" I whisper shout.

Cole's voice is frantic in my ear. "They are selling your soul to Hades."

I get angry. I hand the phone to Percy and summon all my strength and freeze the door all the way around. Then I crumple it and dispose of the ice.

"We're leaving. Now." I peek into the hall and check the coast. Not clear. I press my hands to the floor and freeze it and everything it touches. I look up and see ice sculptures everywhere. I walk out and Percy and Leo follow closely behind. I flood the section around the corner and destroy everything in it's path.

"Where's the door?" someone called seeming very confused. I turned and saw Jose and his men in the cell.I made a thick wall of ice to cover the doorway, sealing them in.

"Jade, slow down. You are gonna run out of energy," Percy advises. I shrug and continue on, putting some distance between me and the cell. I run up a set of stairs that leads to a trap door. With great struggle, I push it open to reveal a desert plain.

"Of course," I whisper. I begin to walk, afraid if I don't soon, I never will. 

"Jade, wait. Maybe we can find a mode of transportation," Percy says. I nod, and begin searching. 

"Stop where you are!" a voice shouts. I see an old man with a knife to Leo's throat. "One more step, and I turn him into a living icicle."

"That's impossible!" I shout, "I am the only one with that ability!"

"Think again, sweetheart," he says and freezes him. I growl and unfreeze him. He runs away from the raggy old man and stands behind me.

"That dude froze me. Is he related to you?" Leo asks. I look into the old man's eyes. Blue green, just like...

With a battle cry, I charge. I grab the dagger from my boot and stab him in the stomach. Nothing gushes out of him like it should.

"What do you want, Dad?" I sneer. The old cook smiles.

"Never were a dumb one," he says and transforms into his usual self.

"Whatever, I'm leaving." I turn and walk the other way.

"Young lady, don't you walk away from me!" he yells.

"I will do whatever the hell I want to, Dad. You weren't there to teach me how to be compliant," I growl. He gasps and I hear Percy and Leo yell "BURN!" in unison, dragging out the 'n'.

"Your friends are here. Wouldn't want to leave your friends." He disappears. Mistress! I hear in my head. Stormy comes rushing at me, neighing and flicking her tail.

"Stormy, so good to see you," I say and pet her snout. Then, I see Cole gallop up up on Flashwing, his white Pegasus."Cole!"

"Jade!" he shouts and comes racing towards me. I would run to him, but it is so humid, and I am rendered powerless. He crashes into me, nearly knocking me into the sand. I hug him with all my might, and cry into his shoulder.

"I thought I would never see you again," I whisper.

"Oh, baby, no! Don't you ever say that!" he says, holding me tighter. Someone clears their throat. A very angry looking Sky is walking towards us.

"You better have a good excuse!" she yells.
