I sat there all day, not moving. Why did they have to rescue me? I could be partying with Elvis right now. It was nightfall. If I cared about my well being, I would go back to camp. But, I don't. So...

     "Jade, oh Jade. What happened?" Percy said. I cried.

     "Let me die, Percy," I sobbed. Percy picked me up bridal style and and carried me to the cabin, despite my protests. He put me on my bed.

     "Now, spill. What happened. You went to Cole's place so happy, then you run into the woods and disappear," Percy said.

     "Let me die," I said simply. Percy frowned.

     "Sorry, but no. Cole," I flinched at the sound of his name, "What the hell did he do to you!" Percy yelled. He stormed out. "Sky, watch your sister, I'm going to kick some ass."

     "Will you let me die?" I asked Sky. She shook her head. I cried. I sobbed. I couldn't stop. That's the thing. I didn't want to stop. It hurt too much.

     Percy burst threw the door with Cole in tow. Percy threw him on the floor. "Apologize to her. Apologize now!" Percy yelled.

     "Percy, I told you why you can't!" Cole yelled.

     "We will protect her. Just don't let her feel like she wants death over life," Percy boomed.

     "I can't," Cole whispered.

     "I would forgive you," I said quietly.

     "Why? I broke your heart'"

     "Cole, do you know how many times I messed up. But you always forgave me. But the one time you need up, you loose all hope in me? I will always forgive you," I said. He actually smiled.

     "I'm sorry, Jade. I just wanted to protect you from him," Cole said.

      "Wait, he came back. Did he hurt you?" I freaked.

     "He hurt me but I'm fine," Cole assured me.

     "Cole, I love you. I'm sorry I brought this on you. I really do love you," I cried. Cole pulled me into a hug.

     "I love you too. He told me if I didn't break your heart, he would kill you," Cole said. I hugged him back and didn't let go.
