A long time ago, someone asked me why it was so easy to bring people back to life. Here's the answer. Since Jade is a goddess, she has power over others.

I frantically put away laundry and stuff things anywhere they would fit. My siblings were so messy. I hear the door open and curse to myself. I am toast. I turn and face the inspector. He is a teenager with a dark hood. Green hair is sticking out. He has dark sun glasses on. He smiles.

"Why do all the hot girls have to be my sisters?" he says. I laugh.

"Don't say that around my boyfriend, he'll kill you. I'm Jade," I say and reach out my hand. He shakes it and smiles.

"Tyler," he says. Why does that name sound familiar?

"I'll show you around camp."

"If you don't mind, I will like to unpack my stuff," he says. I nod and find Sky sitting on the front step of the cabin walk way.

"Hey, there is some guy named Tyler claiming to be our brother and he has really dark shades on for some reason. Do you know him?" I ask. She stands up.

"Did you look into his eyes?" she asks.

"No, I didn't. I don't understand, is he Medusa reincarnated or something?" I ask.

"Son of Medusa," Tyler says from behind us. I jump and pull some daggers out of my boots. He smirks, giving me the urge to wipe it off his face. He steps towards us.

"You know, I actually thought you would be cool now. Oh well, Jade is still cool. Now, become dust." He pulls his glasses from his eyes and whips his hood back. I cover my eyes and I feel something hit my stomach hard.

Okay, I have to fight blind. I keep my eyes closed and listen to his footsteps as he catches us off guard and bring us to our knees. I hear him come behind me. I kick out and hear the twigs snap as he lands. I stand and listen. I hear leaves rustle as he stands. Water hits me really hard. I freeze it and open my eyes. I am not looking directly at him, so I should be good. His eyes are trying to make contact with mine. I turn away. He smirks menacingly.

"You can freeze water. What are you a fairy?" he asks as he prowls around my ice enclosure.

"Goddess actually," I say. He stops and laughs.

"Bull shit," he says, "You're just trying to save your ass."

"You want to bet?" I say. I release my hand from the ice and slash through his chest. He collapses forward, choking as blood gurgles into his throat.

"Bitch," he says, then his body crumbles to dust, leaving only his cheap sunglasses. I unfreeze myself and help Sky up.

"Hey, are you okay?" She shivers. I hug her and tell her she is okay.

"He killed my family, he killed my family." What is she talking about? I help her stand and then I grab Leo. He wraps his arms around her and he comforts her.

"Jade." I turn around and see Cole staring at me.  He wraps his arms around me and whispers, "You are amazing." I giggle and hug him.

"You're even better," I say. He chuckles and pulls on my ponytail.

"Who was that?" He asks.

"I don't know, but I think that won't be the last we see of him."
