The Stark Internship was killing Peter's social life.

Tony had pulled him out of class five times in the two weeks since (Y/N) had arrived at Midtown. Five times. It's not like his grades weren't already extremely high, but it wasn't like he liked missing class.

Or like he liked seeing her...

Since (SPOILER!!!!!) Liz had moved away, he had fallen for a girl named Gwen Stacy. That hadn't worked. Like, at all. Since her dad was a cop, they moved around a lot. As far as he knew, she lived in Manhattan.

He was certain that (Y/N) was different.

If only Peter knew how to talk to girls...

On Monday, the third week since her arrival, he finally managed to show up to Chem (Tony loved pulling him out of this class, especially). When Ned saw him, he called, "Pete! You made it!"

(Y/N) rolled her eyes, and smiled. "You're only about five days late, Parker."

He smiled sheepishly, placing his bookbag on the floor and sitting in the empty chair at their table. "Mr. Stark has me working pretty hard, yeah..."

At the mention of his name, her eyes lit up. "Can you ask him if I can meet the Avengers?"

He rubbed the back of his neck. "Uh... I don't know if that's such a good idea, (Y/N)...."

She released a dramatic sigh. "Peter..." she whined.

Ned nudged him. "C'mon dude. I'd love to meet the Avengers, too."

"You guys know I can't do that!"

"Pretty, pretty please Petey?" (Y/N) blinked her big (e/c) eyes at him, pouting.

"Ugh... dang it... fine. I'll ask him, alright?"

She squealed, and high-fived Ned.
"Wait a minute... this was the plan the whole time!" Peter realized,
exasperated. "You guys suck!"

(Y/N) giggled. "Sorry, Pete."

He smacked his head on the table. "Ugh..."

Ned leaned close and whispered, "You'd do it for her anyway..."

Peter blushed. "Shut up, man."
