That weekend, Tsubaki and I were in the kitchen cooking each other breakfast when Sona, Rias and the rest of the gang came in and saw us smiling and whistling of course I was singing 'Chug-a-lug' by Roger Miller. After we finished cooking everyone was wondering what the good news was. After everyone was seated. I pulled a small navy blue box from my pocket and got on one knee in front of Tsubaki and she smiled as I said, "I know we haven't been together all that long. But I've learned to cherish the moments or people that make your life great if not amazing. And Tsubaki darling. You've made my life more than exciting and amazing. You've made my life feel complete. So without further dancing around the floor or subject," I smiled. "Tsubaki Shinra." I opened the box to expose a beautiful diamond ring. "Will you do me the honor and privelege of being my wife?" She leapt into my arms and I added. "Uh. Dear this is the part where you say something for posterity." I joked.
"Yes. Yes of course I'll marry you." She pulled away and kissed me. The entire room went crazy with cheers and applause. I stood up and Kiba, Issei and Azazel approached me and shook my hand and hugged me.
"Congratulations man." Issei smiled.
"Thanks." I smiled. Then Sona approached me along with Rias. "Uh oh. You two coming up to me at the same time is not a good sign."
"Oh your not in trouble Daniel. Congratulations though." Rias and Sona took turns hugging me and I smiled at Tsubaki as she got choked up about the size of the diamonds on the ring. "By the way Daniel. Where did you find that ring?" Sona asked.
"My uncle gave it to me a couple years ago to give to the one girl wanted to spend the rest of my unnatural days with. His words not mine." I giggled.
"Now there's only a couple things left to do." Rias said.
"Yeah. Bridal shower. Bachelor party. The venue of the wedding, reception and the honeymoon."
"Yeah. But also you are gonna have to meet her parents." Sona said.
"I know and I'm nervous as all hell to meet them." I said.
"Well I'm sure that they know that you make her as happy as she does you. You should have no problem."
"You trying to butter me up for Thanksgiving?" I asked her.
"In a way. Because I told them to come and find out what the good news was."
"You really are draconian by nature aren't you." Right when I said that the front door opened.
"Tsubaki dear."
"Mom." Tsubaki said smiling as she stood up from the table and ran to her parents. "What are you and dad doing here?"
"Sona said that you were going to announce some good news." Her mother said.
I looked to Sona who had a straight face. "Your day is coming Sona just remember that." I said as I walked over to Tsubaki and her parents.
"Mom, dad. This is my boyfriend, well fiancee as of a couple seconds ago." She showed them the diamond ring.
"Ohh, so your the Italian devil our little Tsubaki has told us all about." Said her father.
"Uhh, that I am." I told him.
"Sona told us what you did for our daughter and we originally planned on hating you until you proved yourself. But when Sona told us you fought your crazy cousin because he threatened Tsubaki. Well, we just can't bring ourselves to hate you."
"Well, thank you. By the way did Sona tell you my name?"
"No." Tsubaki's father and mother said.
"Good. Well, the reason I say that is because I'd like to tell you my name myself." I straightened up and did a traditional Italian bow as I said, "Daniel Boyce at your service."
"My name is Maria Shinra." I bowed my head briefly.
"My name is Samuel Shinra." Her father said. I smiled as I shook his hand.
"Welcome to the family Daniel."

After everyone went back home, Sona, Azazel and Kiba included. Me and Tsubaki reheated our breakfast and took it upstairs to my room and ate it in peace. "I think my parents are crazy about you baby." Tsubaki smiled.
"Really? Hadn't noticed." I joked. She lightly smacked my back.
"Ohh," She looked at the ring and back at me. "I love you but you didn't have to go this overboard for a ring."
"Actually my uncle gave me that a couple years back and told me to give it to the one I want to spend the rest of my unnatural days with. His words not mine." I reminded her.
"Well, we'll have to thank him sometime, somehow."
"Knowing my uncle. He'd like it if we named one of our kids after him."
"Well, maybe. But yeah I agree." After we had our breakfast for dinner. We pulled a blank notebook from a bookcase that Rias added to my room and me and Tsubaki started writing down ideas for where to go for our honeymoon.
She suggested Switzerland, Hawaii, and The Carribbean. I suggested Bora Bora, New Zeland and Jamaica. We eventually agreed on Nassau, Bahamas. Which is in the Carribbean if memory serves. As for the Bachelor Party. I was going to leave that to Kiba. Tsubaki was going to leave the Bridal Shower to Sona. As for the venue of the wedding. We both thought it would be fitting to have it in Sicily over Holiday Break. The reception in the same place. Once everything was taken care of Tsubaki and I went to bed. I got up and put the notebook back on the bookshelf. Then got changed for bed. Tsubaki did too. She put on this beautiful blood red pajama bottoms and put on a loose matching color t-shirt. I just changed into some plain blue pajama bottoms and a button up blue and black plaid pajama top. She got in bed first and I followed suit.
She took off her glasses and I got a clear view of her beautiful gold colored eyes. She smiled as I just leaned on my elbow just mesmerised by her eyes. I took my glasses off after a few seconds and we both put our glasses in the headboard cubby of the bed.
We got settled and comfortable in bed and kissed each other good night. "Love you, My Italian Devil."
"Love you too, My Princess." We wrapped our arms around each other and pulled each other close and just fell asleep in that position.
