Stormheart

It was a kt with silver fur. It almost looked blue in the light. "The rock shall crack, revealing the hero..." Stormheart echoed. Leafstar tipped her head. "How did this kit get in the rock?" she meowed, a worried look spreading across her face. "The prophecy has started!" Chip yelled nearby. "We can't turn her away..." Firesplash meowed. "What should we name her?"

The kit opened its aqua-blue eyes, mewling softly. "So cute!" Dawnheart squealed. Stormheart immediately knew what the kit's name should be. "Aquakit," he decided. "Her name shall be Aquakit." "The eliminated deputy naming our hero?" Leafstar snorted. "Unheard of!" "I-I'm sorry-" he stammered. "No. You will continue being deputy, young Stormheart," she urged. "Okay..." Stormheart gently picked the kit up with his teeth. Firesplash touched noses with her.

"Welcome to Felidae, Aquakit," she murmured.

Holly

The black-furred she-cat raced through the trees to the shimmering pool in the clearing. "Oh, StarClan, give me advice!" she begged. "Silence, please, come to me!" "I am here, my sister..." a voice murmured. Holly turned around gratefully. "Silence!" "The one and only." The ashy-furred cat cocked her head. "You are shivering." "A-am I?" She flicked her tail.

"What is troubling you?" Silence inquired. "I-I don't know. It feels like something terrible is lurking ahead..." Holly shuddered violently. "It takes away my sleep!" Silence touched her nose to her sister's head, her whiskers twitching with amusement. "It won't be your time in a while, Holly. I grant you your sleep." She raised her head. "Thank you!" Holly meowed gratefully. "Your welcome, but I do not grant you it for only love."

They locked eyes.

"I did it because the prophecy has begun."
