AQUAKIT'S P.O.V.

Aquapaw finally entered the Twoleg world. Is it wrong to cross worlds? Well, Hollypaw did it, and she's fine, she thought quizzically. "Halt,cats of Felidae!" Leafstar suddenly snarled, spinning around. Hollypaw paused, one paw raised in question. "There are monsters and Thunderpaths everywhere," she continued briskly. "We must take caution out here, in the open. If you make one tiny mistake-" she leaned in closer for suspense, "-we will die."

Hollypaw nodded in agreement, seeming satisfied by her leader's warning, but then her body froze, fur pricked and tense. She stared into space for a few heartbeats, then carefully padded next to her friend. "What's the matter?" she inquired. "Monster!" she screeched, tackling Aquapaw out of the way, and luckily, just in time. A huge, roaring monster chugged past, smoke making her gag in disgust. "See what I mean?" Leafstar meowed in exasperation, sighing as she approached the survivors.

Silverpaw muttered something unflattering about Aquapaw, and she rolled her eyes in annoyance. Pesky, rude Silverpaw, always there to ruin her life. "Now, tread carefully," Hollypaw cautioned. "We don't want anyone getting injured, or possibly worse!" Everyone murmured their promises to be careful, and she nodded in satisfaction. Leafstar stepped delicately next to the young, black she-cat's side, and everyone hushed.

She narrowed her eyes. "I shall cross the Thunderpath first, obviously," the leader of Felidae declared. "For everyone else's sake, and possibly safety." She glanced around, silently challenging anyone who will protest or disobey her. Nobody did, and Aquapaw let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding. Leafstar exchanged a glance with her before slowly facing the deadly obsticle, blocking Felidae from the other side.

About a millisecond passed by before the tortoiseshell she-cat bounded swiftly across the Thunderpath, thankfully unharmed. "Time it right, and don't doubt yourself unless there's clear logic involved! It's easy!" she exclaimed over the pounding and screaming. Aquapaw flattened her ears in distress, and it was her turn to cross. Just as a monster passed by, though, she spotted Jaykit on the Thunderpath, a monster heading.

Straight.

Towards.

Him.
