Aifric stands tall, limbs long but solidly built. Her tomboyish look is complimented by her rather broad shoulders and clothes, but she doesn't neglect her more feminine side, she won't forget her makeup or jewellery unless she's on a physically demanding hunt.

Her skin is dark with cool undertones. Her hair is almost black and usually braided in some way, usually into cornrows and shoved under a baseball cap. Her eyes are usually decorated with simple eye makeup and are a warm brown, flecked with gold.

hunter and occasional paraposer- Aifric hunts down Irregulars that actively kill/terrorise humans. Sometimes she poses as an Irregular to gain information.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Aifric likes learning new things. Maybe she already knows a way to do something, but she wants to do it better. She tries to apply this to hunting too, researching the internet for any rumoured defence against vampires to find the most effective way to keep them at bay, and often trying to talk them down or trap them instead of killing them in the traditional hunter way. This doesn't mean she can't do it though, if she reluctantly comes to the conclusion that an Irregular can't be negotiated with, she won't hesitate to bring them down ... that's not quite true. She'll do it, but she's going to feel sick the entire time and never wash away the feeling of guilt.

She's rather stubborn, and can be a little hot headed at times. She tries to be patient, but sometimes people just push her the wrong way and she has a low tolerance for bullshit if it could mean someone gets hurt. She has a tendency to lie to get her way, and falls into it naturally. She doesn't enjoy being dishonest, but goes to it as almost a first resort most of the time.

She's rather inexperienced with hunting, so she doesn't have many hunter skills. Her stubbornness means she doesn't go to her aunt, who she found out is a hunter through her reputation, for help because they have different opinions on hunting. Her aunt doesn't even know she hunts. Her knowledge comes mostly from the internet and talking to Irregulars. She doesn't talk to hunters much as she doesn't want her aunt finding out what she does.

Aifric is great with computers and is tempted take the easy way out. Result? Credit card fraud. It's how she hunts without getting a job, though she tells her aunt she has a job but refuses to tell her what it is (when pushed, she said she didn't want her aunt snooping into her work to check the place out, she wanted to get a job like a normal person. When pushed again, she said she was a prostitute and hung up. That phone call took a while to recover from.) She's always been interested in hacking, but keeps it as a hobby.

B A C K S T O R Y

Once happily oblivious to Irregulars and dating a decent girl, Aifric's normal life was ruined when she found out her girlfriend was secretly a vampire, which she found out when another Irregular attacked her. Her vampire girlfriend, Niamh, died from the attack, and Aifric was determined to set it right. All she knew was that the attacker was what matched her idea of a werewolf. She did research on what werewolf attacks looked like, and though these were mostly fiction, it did eventually lead her to finding a pack of werewolves - though not the ones she was looking for. Another hunter was tracking them down at the same time, and found Aifric in the middle of a pissed of werewolf pack without even silver bullets on her. When they got out, Aifric got a strict lecture on preparation from the hunter in question, and they gave her the basic information about Irregulars and how they work. Though she tried many more times, Aifric never found the werewolf responsible.

She eventually moved on, focusing on taking down Irregulars that kill people - human or Irregular. She now knows a lot more about Irregulars, including how to get into safe streets and how to pass as one herself.

She's been under her aunt's care since her parents died when she was eight. When she was eighteen, she left the house.

O T H E R

has a fake relic, a gold bracelet enchanted with fae magic. It doesn't do anything, but if someone could sense magic, she could convince them that it was her relic.

A mature woman a little above average height, with surprisingly nice muscles. Her skin is dark with golden undertones and she has quite dark brown eyes. Her hair is left natural, though the salt and pepper curls are usually tied back.
Being an older woman, she's starting to get some wrinkles. She's also not as spry as she once was, though she's still really fit. Despite being an older woman, she could easily kick your ass in a fight.

hunter - Banba believes Irregulars are inherently bad, though she knows it isn't realistic to go after all of them. She believes that any of them that have done bad at any point in their life should be taken down, though going after active Irregulars is easier. She thinks that if Irregulars want to be treated as humans, they should never use their powers, so she'll take down superheroes too if it's convenient. She recognises that there are some Irregulars that pretend to be human 24/7 and have never done anything bad in their life, but if she was given a button that would kill every Irregular on Earth, she wouldn't hesitate to press it. This doesn't mean she hasn't teamed up with Irregulars before. She would gladly team up with some werewolves to take down a vampire nest... she'd just kill the werewolves afterwards.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Banba is heavily determined and ruthless. All she cares about is protecting humans, Irregulars don't matter. If an Irregular was justified in hurting a human, it doesn't matter. They're monsters by nature, they'll hurt someone innocent if they're allowed to walk free. If she's got her mind fixed on something, you probably won't talk her out of anything or change her mind.

She's not socially inept though. She knows how to talk to other hunters, and has charmed an Irregular or two in order to get what she wants. She has people she cares about, especially her niece, Aifric, who she tries to hide the existence of Irregulars from. She makes her fake niceness seem genuine, which helps her get a lot of tips from the pub she works in.

She is pretty intelligent, enough to remember how to kill specific types of Irregulars and commit descriptions of Irregulars she's read about to memory. She frequently reads mythology, no matter how obscure, in case she encounters one of the Irregulars the stories were likely based on. She's a very experienced hunter. She's apply to take knowledge of an Irregular and apply it to new encounters, such as figuring out that what would work on a sea serpent could possibly work on dragons, as they're both essentially big reptiles.

She doesn't like newer ways of research, such as using the internet, because she doesn't trust it. She puts her trust in books, and usually only older ones.

Even if there's only one of the specific type, like the loch ness monster, she has probably heard of their supposed weaknesses, or knows enough about similar Irregulars to apply knowledge of them on her current target.

B A C K S T O R Y

Banba has been a hunter all her life, her parents were too. She respected her brother's decision to leave the hunting life behind and settle down - something she could never picture herself doing. She especially loved her brother's daughter, Aifric, even if she didn't see her too often with her hunting gig.

She hunted full time, getting money from a hunter friend who got his money from a questionable source (she never asked). When her brother and his wife died, she took in Aifric as her own and stayed in one place (something she wasn't fond of). She wanted Aifric to have a normal life, so even though she was protective, snooping through her life and signing her up for self defence classes, she never told her about Irregulars. She got a job in a pub, but still went hunting at night when something happened. Even if there wasn't anything local to hunt, she continued her training. Aifric eventually moved out, though she still works in the pub and usually keeps hunting under moonlight, though she goes for further hunts now, using off time and vacation days to do so.

Usually uses she/her pronouns, but is really non-binary. She doesn't care, she just uses she/her because people associate it with the name Willow.

Willow is a shapeshifter, and doesn't have a preferred human form. Though she does tend to stick to younger, human looking people and usually sports bright blue hair of varying shades.

Her naturally form is that of a small blue faerie, her skin a light blue and glowing a similar colour. This form looks relatively human, but she has a pair of wings emerging from her back. This form is pretty androgynous.

Will O' The Wisp - there are many different versions but mine is that of small faeries who can replicate themselves and change forms to lure humans to traps or treasure depending on their mood.

Superhuman, pseudohuman - though she doesn't have a 'human form' like most Irregulars do, she tends to stick to human versions of herself. If she uses her powers she'd be considered superhuman, and since she's usually in a human form, she'd be considered a pseudohuman.

P O W E R S

Replication and shapeshifting. Willow can take human or wisp form. She can't transform into anything other than this, but her what form she takes as a human is not limited, and can include fake injuries like bruises or bleeding wounds. She can make multiple forms of herself, and can merge back, which she can use to teleport (eg. She's locked in a room so she looks through the keyhole and is able to create another copy of herself. She chooses to merge, but merges the version of her inside the room with the one outside so there is no version of her inside the room). She can also glow blue, but that's more of an aesthetic than a power.

She doesn't care about morals, she cares about fun. And tricking people? That's lots of fun.

She just wants people to believe her, it's like a challenge. To be able to get them to follow her is rewarding, and whether she leads them to death or fortune is none of her concern. It's funnier to lead them to death though - the look on their faces! It's why she teamed up with Patches, the gal's a riot!

Though her favourite thing is to lure people into traps, she loves tricking people in whatever way she can. Lying to people because it's funny, stealing because it feels awesome when they just don't notice her, etc.

She can be nice enough, but her friendships at best are luring people to treasure instead of a trap, and constant lying to your face.

S T R E N G T H S

She's a good liar and quite witty. Sneaky and manipulative. She doesn't really care about people so she isn't afraid to kill or steal from them and doesn't have to stick by someone in trouble because she has a loyalty to them.

W E A K N E S S E S

- her replication is like extending a limb rather than making another version of herself. She has to manually control every version of herself. This means her actions are either slower or one of her acts at normal speed while other's don't move at all. It also means she has twice (or more) the sensory information flooding into her brain. Sensory overload is a bitch and a half.
- she's fragile as hell. Weak muscles, fragile bones, easily breakable skin, slow healing, etc. She's a fragile faerie and it translates the same way into her human form.
- bad at fighting, not particularly fast, pretty weak, pretty much no offensive or defence. She can only trick people or escape.

She'll probably monologue it to you if she meets you.

All anybody knows about her is that anyone who goes to her to kill her dies, though she only kills humans without provocation. Irregulars have to piss her off for her to kill them. Those who return were told this is because they don't 'taste as nice' as human. People have come to the conclusion she's a dragon. But there are so many different kinds of dragons, no one can narrow it down more than that.
