IceFire

I C E F I R E
(written by crystalkeepers)

Icefire's is a therapist office for mainly human-irregular relations, though Everett handles other things. Really anything his patients need to talk about, he's open ears, but he does have a focus. The original Icefire's has been closed down, after an. . .incident, leaving him to work alone and to establish two new Icefire's (so that said incident would be less likely of occurring again.)

So Icefire's, there are actually two of them, but luckily, do to a very sentimental Everett, they look exactly the same as the original. The only discrepancy would be that the notes he has on patients are kept at the respective offices, so like the irregular Icefire's has his notes only on irregulars and vice-versa for the human one. The only other change would be that the irregular one is a bit more worn down, though in a cozy way, as what didn't get torn up in his original shop was transferred there (because this boy is 22, and here's the fact: he just bought two buildings and had to have them set up like a shop that he closed down. Needless to say, that's expensive, so excuse me if Everett is trying to save money because he's currently drowning in debt.) Also it makes the shop smell like the original, whereas the human Icefire's just . . . doesn't. It's comforting, at least to him, the way it smells like Rosia. While that may sound creepy, mind you, she was like family to him, and it's nice sometimes to be reminded of her.

So the interior. Everett kind of used houses to create his shop space, it's simpler that way, at least for him. Everett tries to keep his office cozy yet elegant. Warm, homely colors and a medium sized space. A compromise between being so grand that the place feels inherently lonely, or like you have to yell just to speak, and to small that one can't pace. His walls are lined with books, mostly classical literature and psychology texts. For the most part, there for him to read when he's alone, to make the place seem more homely, and for people who need to keep busy. Sometimes browsing, Everett has found, helps some people relieve their anxiety. The second level, if you want to call the ledge a level, is for that same purpose. There's also a second sitting area with a bench by the window as another option for people to talk. However, if it's not being taken up by patients, Everett's cat can probably be found there.

Above this, in what would be an attic, Everett keeps his actual 'office'. I put that it quotes, as the little nook is more like a bedroom as at the moment, Everett can't really afford a flat. He keeps his files and notes in these locations, along with any books he's currently using for studying and a few unfinished chess games that he's been messing with for the last few months. To the common eye, the area is a complete mess, with books piled up and notes scattered about, but, Everett has a sharp memory, needless to say, he knows where each and every thing is in there. It's how he thrives (though Chai doesn't particularly like having to climb over mounds of paper and clothes just to get to the litter box or his food.) He also has a mini fridge along with a hot plate and a box of foodstuffs that is 50% tea for himself, and a pile of paper plates (morning Everett had a habit of stepping and breaking his actual plates.)

Also he has a lobby upfront, so that people don't just walk in on sessions and have a place to sit. There's not much to say about this area, except that he likes to keep the fire lit at least when the shop is open and that it smells of earl grey and english breakfast. It looks like this:

Also, it should be should be stated that, bedroom/office space that he wouldn't allow people in anyways aside, Icefire's tends to follow the same rule as his bomber jacket, in that it's one of the last things he has of Rosia. If anything were to happen to it, he'd probably be out for blood.
