(Present Time Jack's Pov)

"I can't believe you invited me over and there's no WELCOME MARK banner," Mark fake whined. "Ah shut it," I laughed. Mark came to Ireland for a few days to relax. "So what the plan," asked Mark putting his bag down. "Not sure. How about some food then we play a game," I said excitedly. "Awesome! Oh and I know the game to play," smiled Mark as he and I headed to the kitchen.

"What," I asked. "Mermaid Simulator!!! I've been getting flooded with requests and I heard from Felix, it's super funny," he laughed. "Mermaid?," I mumbled. "Yea? Is that a problem. Don't tell me Jackaboy is scared of fish," teased Mark. "Jackaboy isn't scared of shit!" I yelled confidently. "Good! I'll go set it up," smiled Mark. I bit my lip. I can't believe I'm still awkward around the topic of Mermaids. It's been years since I've seen her. I'm sure it was just a dream. Shit.

(Mark's Pov)

I walked over to my stuff and got my laptop. Then we got into Jacks recording room. He's acting weird, well weirder than usual. Wonder what's wrong. "Ok you ready," I asked and he nodded. I loaded the game and laughed. "Look at these drawings! Boob city," I joked. "Um yeah," he commented. I began playing and after a while I noticed Jack was silent. When I looked at him, he was red in the face with rage. "Sean are you ok," I asked gently. "FUCK NO IM NOT! That's not what they look like! This if so offensive," he snapped. "To Mermaids???" I asked confused. "YESSSS," he snapped back. "Hey what's wrong," I said shutting the laptop. "You won't believe me," he sighed calming down.

(Jack's Pov)

Damnit! Why did I get so angry!!!usually it doesn't get to me! Fucking hell!! "Jack?" Asked Mark in his serious voice. I need to tell someone. "Well when I was younger I went to a circus," I started. "oh well circuses are fun," said Mark happily. "Well in the circus there was a certain attraction and it involved a girl," I said nervously. "Wait don't tell me you have a crush on someone or you in love?!" He gasped. "No no no no no well maybe," I said in defeat. Mark began to grin teasingly. "You need to find this girl," he replied. "I can't," I groaned getting up from my chair. "why?" He asked following me to get a drink.

"Because she's in the ocean..." I trailed off. "The ocean?" He said extremely confused. "Yeah you see the kind of attraction she was in was the freak show... and she was kind of sorta a mermaid," I said waiting for him to laughed. "A mermaid," he replied slowly and I nodded. "Jack so let me get this straight you fell in love with a mermaid you met as a kid in a Circus freak show," he said carefully. "Exactly," I sighed. "And you're sure you weren't dreaming," he asked concerned. "I'm not sure anymore the more I think about her the more I swear she's real," I said depressingly.
"I see," he relied back. I knew he wouldn't believe me he must think I'm a joke and I finally lost my marbles fucking shit....

"Hey it's fine if you don't believe me," I said. "Lets forget it," I continued as I tossed him a pint (beer). "Who says I don't believe you," he smirked taking me by surprise. "Wait you're not thinking-," "oh yes Jack pack your bags were going to go find you a fish girl," sheared Mark with his fist high in the air.
