((Y/n) Pov)

After that fateful night of being rescued by Sean, I've traveled the waters and experienced life as I should've in the first place. Yet that one beach where it all started still beckons me back maybe I should go see if maybe just maybe he's waiting for me.

I swim back to the shore and I peaked above the water to see the usual families, tourist, and crazy photographer ladies, but I didn't see the boy I was looking for. Day after day I kept watching and waiting... till I saw something! It was a boy with Green hair being lead by a boy with pink hair. "What in the world?" I thought as I swam closer.

(Normal Pov)

"So how do you propose we go about finding her," asked Jack very skeptical. "Well you see I hadn't really thought that far ahead, but where there's water there fish and where there are fish there are probably mermaids. So at least we're headed in the right direction," said Mark optimistically. "If you say so," said Jack. They walked down to the sand and got close to the water. "Hey jack what's that," asked Mark pointing to a ferry boat. "Oh that's the Lunar Evening ferry it runs every hour on the hour, this time of year," said Jack. "That gives me an idea maybe if we get out a little further into sea we will find her," smile Mark. "I guess it's worth a shot," said Jack and the two boarding the ferry boat. They started going out to sea and as Jack expected there was nothing. Just empty waters and a broken heart. "Wait Jack I see something," pointed Mark at the water. Jack leaned to see, when his hand slipped off the railing and he fell in!!! "JACK!!!!" yelled Mark as his best-friend splashed into the cold waters! Mark stop yelling when he saw a girls face appear above the water's surface and she pulled up Jack. After pulling him up to the boat they headed to shore where she closely  followed behind.

(Jack's Pov)

For a second I couldn't breathe and then my whole world went dark. When I finally came to I awoke to the face of the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life! Her (e/c) colored eyes and her beautiful smile, it was as if I was in a trance. It wasn't till I heard Mark yelling my name that I came to. I turn and I saw him looking over my body. Where was I? I shot up and I quickly looked around. "Jack you should move up so fast," said Mark worryingly. I was on the shore and before I could even question who the girl was... I saw it. I saw her (tail color) tail behind her. "it's you I never thought I'd see you again," I yelled as I hugged her. I startled her and I felt her body tense up. "Oh I'm sorry," I apologize as I quickly let go.

"it's fine Sean. I'm just glad I get to see you again. It's been ages and to be honest I missed you a lot," she smiled and I got goosebumps. "like I kind of have to apologize because to be honest when you first start talking about real mermaids I thought you finally lost it but to see (Y/n) let me just say you are a lucky man," chuckled Mark. I blushed. "(Y/n)?," I asked. "Yes. Remember it's the name that I had at the circus," she smiled. "oh yeah. Its a really pretty name," I chuckled. "Thank you, but Sean I should really be thanking you. Sean you save me  I'll always be in your debt, thank you so much," she smiled and then I felt a warm sensation on my cheek. She kissed me!!!

At that moment her tail started to vanish and soon I was looking at a pair of legs! "Hey you have legs now," I gasped. "Oh I guess I do...I've never been on the water for this long," she said surprised. "Well then I guess I have no choice," I smiled. "what do you mean," she asked confused. "Do you want to come live with me," I asked smiling really wide. She look nervous at first but then she start to soften. "I would love to," she smiled and I kissed her.
