The taxi drove us to some sorta mall.

We got out, and Piper paid the driver.

I checked my phone. It was 7 o'clock and curfew was at 11. We had 4 hours to shop, which was more than enough for me.

Piper led me through the mall. It was huge! There were 5 stories, and all kinds of shops like clothes stores, shoes stores, a movie theater, restraunts, and those booth cart things that sell food.

We stopped in front of what looked like a fancy boutique.

"This looks sortave expensive."

"Don't worry, I'll pay for it. My dad has a lot of money. I don't usually shop at boutiques like this, but I know people in here and I need something special. If you don't like anything, we can go to another store."

"You don't have to pay! We can go somewhere cheaper."

"No, I insist. Don't worry about it."

Then I connected the dots.

"Wait. You're Tristan McLeans daughter aren't you?"

"Shhh. Keep it down! But yeah, I am..."

"I was wondering how you had money..."

"Please don't tell anyone! I'm just trying to fit in. I don't want people to judge me because of my dad, I want people to see me as me."

"Don't worry I won't tell."

Pipers face showed obvious relief.

We entered the store.

It was a cute but fancy boutique. It was Paris themed, and had the Eiffel Tower painted on the wall.

A chic looking woman walked up to us.

She had curled black hair, a pencil skirt, and really high heels.

"How may I help you madimousille?"

She had a slight French accent.

"Hey Yvette!"

"Piper dear! What brings you here?"(heh that rhymes)

"I need a dress for a special occasion, and I have a friend who needs some warm clothes for the weather."

Yvette turned to face me.

"Oh hello dear! You are very pretty! I have many clothes that would suit you!"

"Thank you, but you are much prettier than me."

"Oh dear, don't say that! You are much more young than me! Now come. Bridgette, help Piper."

A younger girl came and led Piper to the dress section.

Yvette led me to a changing room.

"Okay. I will bring you clothes and you will try them on. Tell me what you think about them."

She went off and picked out tons of options and made me try them on. There were shirts, skirts, pants, dresses(which I didn't usually wear), accessories and so much more.

Piper came after a while, holding a boutique bag.

"Yvette, Annabeth needs a special occasion dress too."

"What?"

"Well every year, Goode does at least two dances, one for winter, and one for spring going into summer. Everyone is required to go."

"Really?!"

"Yes, sadly."

"Ooh dances? I love dressing up for them! I will go pick out a few dresses."

She ran off.

"So have you been trying on lots of clothes?"

"Yes. A ton."

"Yeah, Yvette is like that. I hope you like them though."

"I love them!"

"Great."

Yvette returned and had me try on dresses, along with shoes and more accessories.

"So you like this yes?"

"Yes."

I just wanted to get shopping over, I wanted to go to my bed.

"We'll take it all then."

"Piper! You dont need to buy me all of this!"

"No, like I said earlier, it's fine."

"Okay! Half price everything for you Piper!"

She led us to the check out, and put it in bags.

"Thanks for your business Piper! Nice meeting you Annabeth!"

"You too Yvette."

I checked my watch.

It was 10:30. Wow! We'd been in there for hours.

We called a taxi.

"I think we might be late!"

Pipers eyes were big, she was scared.

"Well, it takes at least thirty minutes to get there, so we might make it."

"If you get there late, you get punished! I've heard horrible stories about people who get there late."

"Are you sure you aren't exaggerating? It's just a school. How bad can it get?"

"This isn't a normal school, Annabeth."

"Well then, step on it driver!"

"It'll cost you extra."

"I said STEP ON IT!"

AN I don't know, I just felt like updating. I hope you like the story so far:) I got the see the last Hobbit movie yesterday: The Hobbit The Battle of the Five Armies. It was AWESOME. There were like funny moments, intense moments, awesome moments, sad moments, etc. I wanna see it again😢.
I'm so sad it's over. I loved the swordfighting moments. Also, I've been rewatching one of my most favorite amines ever- Fruits Basket! I LOVE that anime! On a sadder note tommorrow I have to go back to school.:(     
Today is my last day of Christmas Break... NOOO 😭😓😨😱😢 I want more break... Anyways... enjoy.
