Annabeth's POV
Oh crap!
I looked at Percy's now brown hair.

I didn't mean to... But he was being SO annoying.

He looked at me in shock, then laughed.

I spluttered. How could he laugh after getting a whole bottle of paint put on his hair?

"You-your face!"

I blushed.

"What about it?!"

"It's priceless!"he cackled.

I started giggling with him.

When we stopped laughing, I looked at him.

"We still have more work to do. Let's go."

"Fine," he sighed.

It was pretty late at night.

I went into my dorm, and then into Pipers.

She was on her phone, texting.

"Hey Pipes can I borrow your laptop."

"Sure."

She handed me a shiny metallic Apple computer.

"Why do you need it?"

"For a project, the one in science."

"Oh okay."

"See you later."

"You too."

I went back into my dorm and sat down on my bed.

Percy was looking at some photos I had put up on the wall.

They featured recent ones that I had taken at Goode and photos from before that.

Pictures of my mom, pictures of me in front of famous landmarks, and
me and my dad.

"Hey."

He jumped.

"You scared me!"

I laughed. "Obviously."

"So what are we doing again?"

"Making a poster board to present our project. I'll search stuff and you can write it down on paper and such."

He was silent for a minute, thinking.

"Wait, how good is your handwriting?"

"It's eligible."

I blinked surprised he would know such a word.

"Well then I can write and you can cut and glue.
I already measured pieces of paper for matting the information and such."

"Okay."

I opened up the computer and typed in volcanoes.

...

An hour later we were done.

The poster looked really good it was red, and I had paired it with some orange and yellow matting.

It had tons of info on volcanoes, like how they were formed and how they exploded etc.

I checked the time it was twelve.

Crap!

Percy yawned a massive yawn.

"You really need to go to your dorm Percy. Also, please don't get caught."

"I won't."

He winked at me.

"This isn't the first time I've sneaked out, you know."

"Wait what?"

He smiled at me.
"See you later Annabeth."

Then he closed the door.

Wow..
My heart was beating really fast for some reason and I kept thinking about Percy's sea green eyes.

Ugh what had gotten into me?

Today was the day we finally presented our science projects.

I dressed in a gray sweater, black jeans, black combat boots, and a blue scarf.

I skipped breakfast that morning. I wanted to prepare our project.

I was the first one in class ahead of everyone in class, including the teacher.

Percy surprisingly was the second one in the class.

I gaped at him.

"What you don't think I can be early?"

"No, not really."

"So let's do this?"

"Okay so I'm going to present the information and then you will get to help make the volcano explode. Sound alright?"

"Kay."

Everybody else had arrived at this point .

The teacher came in and said "Quiet down! Today we are presenting our projects. Ill start with... Hmm... Let's see Ms. Chase and Mr. Jackson.
