Amy waited patiently for Jonah at the fountain, as he texted her during the last period to wait for him there. All she could think of was what he was going to say to her, she had no idea what he would tell her. Suddenly he sat next to her and greeted her in his usual way.

"Hi Wilkes."

"Hi. "

"Thanks for coming. I wanted to tell you something, after the play my dad and I went to eat dinner together. We had a heart-to-heart conversation, and it was great, for the first time I felt close to him. "

" That's awesome Jonah, I'm happy for both of you. I really am."

"And is thanks to you, you have helped met close to my dad. And because of that, I want to take you out on Friday. Are you available?"

Was he asking her on a date?She was shocked that she had no idea what to say and remained quiet to which he spoke again.

"If you are busy I understand. "

"No, I am free on Friday. " She immediately said.

"Excellent, it's a date then. See you later, Wilkes. " He said smiling as he walked away.

Amy arrived home and was not feeling in the mood to cook, so she decided to order a pizza, that way Sean would not have any need to cook. Amy was doing homework when Sean arrived, and somehow he looked more tired as usual.

" Sean, are you ok? " Amy asked concerned.

"It was a tough day. " He answered with an exhausted voice.

"Is there something i can do for you? Want some tea?" She asked standing up.

"I need a shower now, I'll tell you everything later. "

Twenty minutes later came out with his hair damp and changed in his pj, he grabbed two pizza slices and sat next to his sister.

"Tell me, what happened today?" Amy asked placing her pen down as she was doing homework.

"I spoke with Anabelle, and she got all pissed with me. I told her we couldn't be seen together and she said we would have to be more careful, as we're on the way of being a couple. I explained her i had no romantic feelings for her, and she said that i played with her feelings. She even called me an awful person."

"I'm sorry to hear that,that girl is a psycho. I just hope she leaves you alone. "

"I hope that too,i was afraid she was going to punch me. You should have seen her Aims,if she could kill people with a look i would be dead now. "

"Just please be careful, with her or any other student. "

"I will, I learned my lesson. I'll go to bed early tonight."

"Good night. "

He walked to the door and turned to her.

"Remember to ask Ms. Reynolds when she's available to join us for dinner."

"Sure. "

Before going to bed Amy called Dana and told her how Jonah asked her out, and as usual Dana got all excited.Her excitement was noticeable since the other side of the phone line.

"Wow, that's amazing. Jonah asked you out, and this time for real. Did he mentioned where he was taking you?"

"No, and i didn't ask. Maybe we'll go out for a movie or dinner, the usual stuff. "

"I hope he plans something fun, do you know what you'll be wearing?"

"No, i guess i'll look up in my closet something to wear. "

"Seriously? You need to go shopping, you need to wear something different. You can't wear your usual clothes. "

"There's nothing wrong with my clothes. "

"No, but you know that girls need new clothes for special ocassions.Like this one. "

"Thanks, but i have no money right now .It will have to be in another time. "

"Why don't you ask Sean?"

"I haven't even told him, he was exhausted today. He had a tough day."

"I have some savings, we can use them. "

"No Dana, i can't accept it. "

" Yes you will, I am paying it. I know you would do the same for me. Let's go on Thursday."

Amy knew Dana would not accept a no for an answer, so she agreed to her gesture. She felt lucky to have Dana as her friend, she would always help her and never expected anything in return.

Ms. Reynolds was on the teacher's room checking English quizzes when Mr. Geller came inside, and he had a " I'm sorry" expression on his face. He was carrying a bag from her favorite coffee shop and placed it next to her.

"I got your favorite, ham and honey mustard. " He said sitting next to her.

"You seriously think a bagel will make me forgive you?" She said raising her eyes at him.

"I'm trying. "

"I want you to know how serious what you said is. You accused me of getting closer to a student because of her brother. "

"I'm sorry, i guess I got jealous. "He said raising his hands in the air.

" Why?" She asked surprised.

"We have a story, and seeing you him with was not easy for me."

"Adam, we only went for coffee once. And it was better that way since we are coworkers and you know people talk crap. "

"And it's better being seen with a student's brother?"

"You know what Adam , you can stuff that bagel in your mouth because in no way i will eat it. "

She stand up and walked outside the door when she heard a student calling her, and when she turned she discovered it was Amy.

"Hello Ms. Reynolds. " She happily said.

"Hi Amy, can I do something for you?"

"Did my brother mentioned you something about you coming to have dinner with us?"

"He did, but i couldn't give him an answer since i had something else to do . "

" Well, i hope you can join us soon. This is my way of thanking all the support you have given me. You helped boost my confidence. "

"It's nothing, I know you have potential inside yourself. You just need to be more confident in yourself. "

"Please tell me when you're available,it would mean a lot to me if you joined us. "

"I will. We'll keep in touch.Go to class. "

Amy walked to her next class and Ms. Reynolds walked to the teacher's bathroom. She looked herself in the mirror retouching her makeup and stayed there for a moment. She wanted to deny it, but she did find Amy's brother attractive, and the idea of eating with them made her nervous.

Amy told Sean how Jonah asked her out, and luckily, he didn't oppose. Dana went with her on Thursday after class to the mall, and entered a store where Amy started looking for tshirts and jeans. But Dana had something else in mind and let her know.

"Common Am, challenge yourself. You have lovely legs, why don't you wear a skirt?"

"You think so?"

"I know it, trust me. I'll find something beautiful for you.

Dana searched everywhere and  grabbed a purple long sleeved shirt that and a floral skirt. She gave them to Amy who entered the changing room and Minutes later she came out for her best friend to give her a veredict.

"How do I look?" Amy asked giving a twirl.

"You look great, i think you should take it."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah,just don't forget to wear a short below, in case of a breeze. Go change and let's go pay. "

"What are you two doing here?" A voice asked.

It was Jenna, who looked surprised and shocked to see them there .

"Shopping, like all the people who come to a store. Not to hard to know. " Dana answered with a sarcastic voice.

Jenna ignored Dana and directed to Amy.

"So, I heard Jonah asked you out. "

"How do you know?" Amy asked.

"You know how gossip is at our school, you should know it by now. "

"Jealous much?" Dana asked.

Jenna just let go a small laugh and shook her head.

"Not at all. Specially since I know why Jonah asked you. "

"What are you talking about?" Amy asked not sure if she wanted an answer or not.

"The soccer team keeps a book where they get points for girls they date, i guess Jonah must be desperate to get his score higher. "

"Just leave before I give you a black eye. " Dana said in a menacing voice.

Jenna walked away, leaving the two girls alone.

"Ignore her, she's just trying to get in your head. Let's go pay and eat afterwards, I'm hungry. "

Amy entered to the changing room and started putting on her clothes again. As she got dressed, she couldn't stop thinking in Jenna's words and wondered if she was saying the truth. Jonah didn't seemed to be the type of guy who could do that, when he first approached her he seemed sincere. But to be sure she would have to ask him.
