Amy was placing up lipstick on her mouth when she heard Sean calling her. She quickly stand up and went to where her brother was calling her. He was wearing an apron and oven mittens while carrying a lasagna in his hands .As usual he prepared a delicious dinner.

"Come eat before Dana comes pick you up. " He said grabbing a knife and cutting a piece for her. 

Somehow Dana convinced her mother to lend her the car, which was a surprise since her parents were as protective with their cars as with their daughters.Dana was having driving lessons for two months but her parents would not let her drive on her own as they felt she was not prepared.However they let her drive to the game, Dana convinced them somehow. She called her all excited an hour ago. When Amy told Sean he wasn't that happy,as he knew that Dana could be somehow wild  but Amy managed to calm him down.

"Tastes good, thanks brother. "Amy said taking small bites.

"I'm glad you enjoy,please be careful at that party. You know alcohol and teenagers are not a nice combination. "

"Nothing will happen, don't worry. "

A knock was heard. Sean opened the door and an excited Dana appeared with some keys on her hand. Dana looked all smiley and radiant.

"Hi Sean. " 

"Hi Dana, come in. "

"Thanks, it smells delicious here. " She said as she walked in. 

"Want some lasagna?" Amy asked placing her dish on the sink.

"I already ate, thanks anyway. Let's go the game will start and we need to hurry or we won't find a parking spot."

"Dana, please drive safely. " Sean said placing his hand on her shoulder.

"No problem, Big Sean. I received my parents' speech about driving safely for at least two hours. Not kidding. " Dana said nodding with her head. 

"Big Sean? When did you came out with that nickname?"

"A while ago. Your name is Sean, and you are my best friend's older brother. Perfect for you. " she said winking her eye.

"Please bring her at eleven, no later than that. "

"Common Big Sean, let us hang around at least at twelve."

"No. I told her Amy I wanted her here at ten. But she asked for another hour and i accepted. "

"She will be back on time. "

"Thanks, enjoy the game and the party. "

The bleachers were filled with both team's supporters. Mackenzie supporters were wearing their orange and black tshirts, while Weston's supporters  wore blue and white shirts with a wolf on the front.Both  groups looked fiery with their school colors, Amy felt as if instead of a soccer game a combat would happen.She felt tension on the air, and she was hoping it was only her imagination. She knew there was a rivalry between the two schools but not at this level.

"Are you ok?" Dana asked. 

"Yes, just waiting for the game to start."

"Ready for partying tonight? After this we are driving to Jonah's house. " 

When the two teams entered to the court their respective supporters showed their support: locals  cheered and lifted signs, while the visitors started howling when their team entered the court.The moment where the two captains placed themselves in each side of the court was scary. Amy noticed that Jonah could kill the guy with only his look, and the Weston captain seemed to be wanting to punch him. The referee blowed his whistle and the game started.Both teams seemed to be dancing with the ball, moving in a quick but graceful way. Amy understood why Jonah had such a huge rivalry with the other captain, he was a striker as well .Both of them tried to score for their teams, but the first time no one scored, so she guessed the second time would be even more tense. 

"I would have never imagined soccer games would be so intense. "Dana said taking a sip from her water. 

"I know,and the second time is still missing. "

Second time started and the players were not letting any chance to score. Both goal keepers threw themselves to save any points from the opposite team . Fifteen minutes were left, and Mackenzie dominated the ball, Jonah was geting close to the goal with the chance to score. He was passed the ball and kicked the ball making a toe shot before the defenders came closer to him. The goalkeeper tried to stop the ball but couldn't reach it  .All the people sitting on Mckenzie's side cheered up celebrating the goal, the cheerleaders jumped and made a pyramid together making the crowd cheer louder. 

The game ended with the score 2-1,with Mackenzie taking the win. Everyone in both sides started moving leaving the bleachers empty.  Dana and Amy waited for people to leave since they wouldn't be able to walk between so many people. They walked to the car where they could hear people people still cheering.

"Hey, i just realized i don't know the address to Jonah's house. Do you?" Dana asked. 

"No. " 

"Text him then, i have no idea where to go. How come you didn't ask his address when he invited you?"

"I'll get it now, chill. " Amy answered as she texted Jonah. 

Fifteen minutes later the girls arrived to an elegant mansion where music was heard on the inside. They knocked the door and got inside where everyone inside was dancing or with a drink on their hands.Dana let go an impressed whistle.

"I have to admit, your guy sure knows how to give a party. "

"He's not my guy. " Amy answered with a whisper. 

"You know what i mean. Don't play dumb, he likes you. If not he wouldn't talk to you so much. I'm thirsty, let's get something to drink." 

Dana walked so fast Amy lost her in the crowd, she couldn't see where she went.There were so many people she had no idea where to walk. She only felt how someone pushed her and she accidentally  bumped into a guy. "

"I'm sorry. " She  said. 

"No problem, there's no space for being mad today. We won. " Jonah said with a huge smile on his face. 

"Yeah, you all did an amazing job. Congratulations."

"I'm glad you came, I thought you wouldn't come since i didn't see you anywhere. "

"I came with Dana, thanks for inviting us. "

"Where is she?"

"I guess she's somewhere, but i don't know where exactly. " She said looking around.

"Want to join me? I need some fresh air." 

"Sure. "

He gently grabbed her hand and directed her outside , where a huge pool was seen. The sky shone with a beautiful full moon, joined by equally shiny stars. It seemed as if everything was indicating a romantic moment, which caused goosebumps on Amy. The two of them walked side by side next to the pool corner.

"Your house is beautiful. " Amy said not knowing what else to say. 

"Thanks. I think it's time for me to end the ten questions game we started. Are you ready for the final question?"

"Yeah, spill it out. "

"Would you go out on a date with me?" 

There was no hesitation in his voice, just confidence. He just looked at her with a deep stare waiting for her answer, but she just looked downwards. She looked uncomfortable, and Jonah felt he messed everything with her.Was he too direct?

"What's wrong?" He asked concerned what she would answer. 

"You are Jonah Parker. You  can have any girl  you want,why are you asking me out?" She said in a low voice. 

" There is something about you that attracts me, I can't point a finger on it but i am willing to know what it is. So, what's your answer?"

Before Amy could answer a crash was heard inside the house. Sounded as if something made of glass broke.

"Would you wait for me? I need to check what the hell happened inside, I'll be back soon. "

Amy sat on one of the pool chairs waiting for Jonah to come back. She couldn't believe he asked her out, it was something that only happened on her head but would have never suspected it would really happen.When he came back he would expect an answer, and Amy was hoping he wouldn't regret asking her out.She was hoping he wouldn't consider her boring. 

"What are you doing here on your own?" Brad asked as he had a red plastic cup in his hand.

"Just taking some air. " She answered not wanting to give him any information. 

"Why don't come inside and enjoy the party? Here, drink this. " He said handing her the beer. 

"Thanks, but i don't drink alcohol. " She politely declined.

"It's your lucky day then. It's a non alcoholic beer, check it yourself. " He said grabbing her hand and placing the beer there. 

Amy smelled the drink,checking if it had an alcoholic odor, which didn't seemed to have.She inserted a finger inside to have a small taste of it. 

"See?I was not lying. Take a sip, it won't kill you.Have some fun, it's a party of all. "

Amy drank from the beer, and it didn't have a bad taste. She promised Sean she wouldn't drink alcohol, and after all she wasn't breaking the promise.
