Amy walked to the rehearsal but she felt like a zombie with so many things on her head: her feud with Dana, Jeremy wanting to talk to her, and everyone speaking about her encounter with Jonah on Jenna's party. It was all too much for her, specially the Dana situation, she was her best friend and felt akward without her. Unfortunately all this affected her on the rehearsal, and Mr. Geller started scolding her. 

"Repeat it again, Amy. Do it well this time. " He said not very happy.

Amy kept repeating her line, but he would still tell her to say it again, leaving her confused.

"Didn't I say the correct line?" Amy asked him. She practiced constantly on her own and with Sean's help, it concerned her why the teacher would continue to reprimand her. 

"It is, but you 're not saying it well. Do it again. And this time do it correctly. "

"Ok, let's have a five minute break, we all need it. " Ms. Reynolds said clapping her hands. 

Ms. Reynolds walked towards Amy who was drinking from her water bottle.

"Amy, do you have a second?" She asked.

The two walked away, and when they couldn't be heard. Ms. Reynolds unlike Mr. Geller looked nice, but Amy still couldn't help feel like crap as she knew she was going to be to be told about messing up on stage. 

"I'm sorry, Ms. Reynolds. I know i have messed up today. " 

"Don't let Mr. Geller get into your head,he's been really moody lately. I just want to know, are you okay? I did notice you were a bit distracted."

"I have some stuff in my head, that's all. But i promise i won't let my problems affect the play. "

"It's okay, i just want to let you know i'm here if you need to talk.I can teach you some breathing exercises for you to relax. A Drama Teacher taught them to me when i was in school. "

Amy was really grateful that Ms. Reynolds was there, unlike Mr. Geller she seemed easier to approach and easier to talk to. Ms. Reynolds taught her inhaling and exhaling exercises that she felt did help her. The rehearsal ended and Dana walked away as soon they were told to leave, that hurt Amy as she didn't even said goodbye to her, but she decided she would talk to her later. Jeremy came close to her, with his backpack on his shoulder. 

"Do you have a second?" Jeremy asked. 

Somehow her eyes turned to Jonah, who was staring at them not very far from them but quickly turned away and walked through the door. Amy wasn't sure but she could sense he was uncomfortable seeing her talking to Jeremy. Or maybe it was just her imagination.

"Sure."

Jeremy and Amy walked to the library, the most quiet place on school. Finally Amy would find out what Jeremy was wanting to tell her. He looked nervous, scratching his neck, looking to the floor and his hands looked sweaty.Amy was just hoping he wouldn't pass out there as she would have no idea what to do, than to call nine one one and report a fainted student. 

"I'm sorry, words just don't come out." Jeremy said nervously. 

"Calm down Jeremy,i don't want you to faint. Whatever it is, you can tell me. " She said with a smile.

"I have a crush on you. " He suddenly said.

"I'm sorry, what?" Amy said shaking her head and not believing what she was hearing. 

"I haved liked you,for a while actually. I was the one who placed the get well teddy bear on your locker when you were at the hospital. I was too shy to give it in person, so i placed it there for you. " 

"So it was you. " Amy answered not knowing what else to say. 

" Yes, it was me. It has been too long, and i needed to take this out from my chest.I just wanted to let you know, i'm not expecting you to say you like me back as i know you are into another guy.Don't worry about that. " 

She was surprised to hear him say that, the only person who knew that  in school was Dana, and she knew that even though they were not in the best terms she wouldn't betray her trust like that. Dana would never do that, but she had to know how he found out. 

"How do you know i'm into a guy?"

"I have seen how you look at Jonah during rehearsals,i wished i had a girl as pretty and adorable as you look at me that way. I have to go. See you tomorrow. "

Amy didn't want to leave things that way with him,she knew it must have not been easy for him to be that brave and tell her how she felt.  She was about to stop him when she received a text message from Dana. 

D: Are you coming home with my mom and me? She called me saying she's almost here. I'm at the entrance.

She forgot how she told Sean that Mrs. Murphy would take her home after rehearsals.She quickly answered Dana as she walked to the entrance. Tomorrow she would speak to Jeremy.

That night at dinner Sean noticed Amy barely was touching her food, which was awkward since there were at Olive's Garden, her favorite restaurant  and raviollis were her favorite food. He knew something was in her head, as she was being way too quiet and seemed distracted.He could read her as a book, and knew when she was hiding something.

"How was school today?" He asked drinking from his iced tea.

"The usual. I had play rehearsal today."

"And how was it?"

"Ok. "

"Amy, something happened today?You know you can talk to me. If something is bothering you please tell me. You know if i can, I'll help you."

Amy looked at her brother. She saw the worry in his eyes, he knew very well when something was bothering her as he was the one who knew her the best.The truth is she needed to take out all her worries, and talking to Sean was the best choice. 

"Dana and i are not talking. " 

"Mayii ask what happened?" 

Amy wasn't ready to tell him well the events that happened at the party, when he asked how the party was she just told him it was fun but couldn't tell him how she was forced to play seven minutes in heaven. And she would have to tell him that Dana got mad at her for almost entering to the closet with the guy she had a crush on, but instead entered with another guy who luckily for her was her own crush and treated her with respect. 

"It was mostly a misunderstanding, i talked to her trying to fix things and it seems she got more upset at me. I have decided to give her some space. "

"Just be sure not to wait too much, or you will grow even more apart. Do you think it would help if I spoke to her parents?" He asked placing his hands together. 

"No, i don't want to involve them. I want to do this on my own.But thanks for the offer. "

"That's great, but if necessary I'll speak to them. "

"Thanks. And there's something else. " Amy said grabbing a piece of raviolli from her plate and stuffing it in her mouth. 

Sean's eyes opened in surprise, clearly he didn't expected that. His reaction was somehow funny to Amy, but she decided not to show that to him.

"What is it?" he asked coming closer. 

"Today a boy told me he likes me. "

"Like or like like?" Sean asked emphasizing  the two last likes. 

"Like like. But the thing is i don't like him back, at least not that same way. Yet i  want to be his friend."

"Have you told him that?" 

"No, i'm planning to. How do you think he'll react?"

"If he's a mature guy he will respect your decision, if he reacts in another way it's better for you to stay away from him. "

"He is mature, I believe he'll react well. "

"I hope so. Remember Aims, whatever is bothering I'm here for you."

"Thank you Sean, i feel much better after talking to you. I really do. "

"That's what big brothers are for. Let's pay the check and leave ."

That night Amy went to sleep peacefully, speaking to Sean helped her to think better what to do with her situation with Dana and Jeremy. She was thinking in how how different her life would be if Sean wasn't with her, her life would be so much miserable as Sean was not only her brother but also her friend. Next morning  Amy walked through the halls looking for either Jeremy or Dana, she didn't want to wait too much to talk to them. She found Jeremy walking next to the fountain with his friends, and walked faster to reach him. 

"Good morning guys. Jeremy, do you have a second?" She asked. 

"I'll catch you later, guys. "Jeremy said to his friends and then spoke to Amy. "What is it?" 

"First of all, i want to tell you i'm flattered with what you told me yesterday. You're the first guy who has tell me that is interested in me. And secondly, I want us to be friends. I really do. "

"You want to be my friend?"

"Yes, you were right with what you said about Jonah, I have feelings for him.  But you are a sweet and caring guy, and if you agree i would like us to be friends. I don't have too many, but i would really like us to hang together as you seem a really cool guy."

Jeremy smiled, to which made Amy happy. She would have a new friend, a guy friend. She loved Dana as a sister, and also Sean who always supported her but she also wondered how it was to hang with a guy her age, and now it was her chance. 

"I would love that, thanks Amy.If you're offering me your friendship it would me a mistake from my part not to take it. "

Amy excitedly gave him a hug, wrapping him with her arms and so he did the same. People who were passing by stared at them and kept walking. However, there was one person who stared from the distance and didn't moved watching the huge smile Jeremy had in his face.Jonah couldn't watch anymore, it hurt him too see her hugging another guy in such an affectionate way. Since yesterday Jeremy Price was approaching her and made him wonder if they were dating already. He walked away trying not to think in the scene he saw, even though he knew he wouldn't be able to forget it.
