Heyy everyone! It's been so long I've been dying to do this, literally.

*Takes a seat, comfortablly sipping coffee and glances at the notepad*

Oh this should be fun and also my longest interview to date, as she was the first person I ever interviewed! So without much ado, let's call her in!

1. Let's start with the basics, your full name or pen name, whichever you feel like.

August is my real name but I prefer Ashley.

That's a very pretty name! :D

It is! But August Perry is very off sync.

Hey, isn't Perry the name of the platypus in Phineas and Ferb? (Totally off topic)

God! You don't know how much I get that!

2. So where are you from and how old are you?

I am from Kerala(A state in India) but since I was four, we stay in Malaysia. I'll turn seventeen in seven months exact. (I love my birthday, so this is how I often tell people.)

3. When is your born day?

1st of February! I share my birthday with Harry Styles *giggles*

Oooh! I gather you're a 1-D fan from that!

I like everyone and anyone! I am wierd that way, specifically like Liam and Niall's voice.

I actually don't listen to a lot of music *crawls back into the cave*

4. Let's move on to your book! What inspired you to write them?

Honestly, I was tired of all the cliches we have. No offence meant, but it got very repetitive and then I read 'Just One Night' by @cinnamon_cherry. She is my greatest inspiration to write something different. You should definitely read it someday.

Ohh I think I will! I know, this site is filled with cliches, like a mass of creepy, crawly worms! :P

5. How did you discover watpadd?

My best friend was and still is, a HUGE watpadd addict. It used to piss me off when she hardly replied to any of my texts, but then she told me to try and read one story( It was TGND I remember) and since then, there's no way out of this book maze.

I know right, watpadd is a wonderful and extremely addictive world! Can't get away from its clutches, but not complaining though :D

6. How is watpadd treating you said far?

It's an amazing feeling to be a part of this world. The people here are very cooperative and creative, I must add. Watpadd gives an opportunity to each and everyone and that's what makes me a proud wattpaddian!

7. A quick important question, food or sleep for a whole month? xD

Fooooood, any day, anytime. I consider myself the biggest foodie!!

Woo, that was a tough one! I must say, I'm proud of you! *Pats you on the back*

8. A month from now, everything could change here on watpadd! But do you have any short term goals?

I prefer reality over elusive dreams, so my goals are quite minor. Like updating on time( because I procrastinate a lot and I'm very lazy) and I want to finish '24 hours' and start with 'Super Six' *squeals*

The only goal I have is that whoever reads my book, should like it. That's all!

Wow, for being a procrastinator myself, the update goal is a major one!
I think people will like your book when you put your heart into writing it! :)

9. Do you have any new books coming up?

I am working on 'Super Six' and then 'Roles Exchanged.' Too many things to do but I'm lazy and that's a big issue.

10. What would you want your tombstone to read? :D

11. What is your favorite genre to read/write?

I love to write teen fiction/dark romance/humor(though I suck at it.)
I absolutely love to read thrillers, mystery, romance and teen fiction again. I don't like fanfic and werewolf, don't know why!

Me too! I love mystery themed books! ^°^
Even I don't like fan-fiction, I guess it's cause I feel it looses the characters essence when written by someone else! (Just my opinion)

12. What song best describes you?

Ummm, that's difficult. But Counting Stars is very close to my heart. I love love loveee One Republic. It doesn't actually describe me though.

Ooh, as I said I'm bad with songs but I'm sure it's a great song!

13. Your favorite movie and why?

There are TOOO many movies. I love 'Titanic' cause romance>action. 'Despicable Me' cause Agnes is possible the cutest thing on Earth. I love Johnny English, Divergent and many more.

14. If you had to write something, say 4 lines to someone now, what would it be? And to whom?

Possibly propose the one who made this Taco ❤❤ This is heaven!

*Fast forward*

I went back to the same place last night and actually wrote a little letter(cause I'm a wierdo who walks around with a scribble pad) and literally wrote 'In honor of your taco, I'll name my baby Theo James as Taco James.

I did! That earned me a 'you are crazy* look from my sister though.

15. Moving on! Any author/book that connected with you a lot?

Aaah, do I need to name only one book? *Pouts*

Breakup formula was one of the first books I read on this site and even after two years, I reread it again and again.

16. Which is your first book?

Super Six. It's about friendship, love and the right balance between it.

17. What are your hobbies other than writing?

I love drawing and stargazing.

Oh wow! Stargazing? That's very interesting! Do you have like a telescope or something that they use?

My brother does. It's fun!

18. What is the one thing you hate the most about watpadd? It could be the type of people, stuff in books or anything that makes you wanna smack your phone/laptop screen!

Ummm... That's kind of difficult to answer.

I don't really like people with the crab mentality. They will drag you down when you are getting better, you know. They can't digest someone else's happiness. That's the worst thing you can ever do.

I second that! But I never knew it's called 'crab mentality,' but wow! Okay!

I don't read fanfictions so I guess that one and the way they literally misuse cancer. Everyone is freaking dying with cancer and I don't know! I think it's wrong.

I'm not a great fan of fan-fiction either. I feel the story loses its essence when written by someone else. Just my opinion!
And true! They do garner a lot of sympathy and yeah, it's rarely on the actual state of the patient and how much they suffer but more on a superficial sympathy gathering level with no depth to it.

It does! And I don't even like one direction and every third book is about them.

Haha, I remember somebody mentioning that watpadd should be split into 2-one with 1-D and the one without! :P

19. Do you have any advice you'd like to give writers/readers/followers on here?

I'd like to thank them for reading my works and following me. It makes me really happy <3

A piece of advice(which I need for myself more than anyone else) is don't give up. Write if you're happy, write if you're sad. But never, ever, do you give up!

And be happy! Be happy and make others happy through your writing. Don't be afraid to express yourself.

Awwh, that's sweet and damn true! Nobody should stop writing, nobody should shut the valve meant to vent! It could drive them insane!

And that is why writers block is scary af! It literally drives you crazy to a point where you just give up. It takes a lot of self convincing to get your story back on track.

Cannot agree more to that considering inspiration is the last thing I find these days!

And also wow! *Tiny tears well up in my eyes*

20. Why should people follow you and/or read your stories?

Finally!! I should thank you for sticking along all this while! I think this went on for months *smiles guiltily*

They should read my stories because... It's real? I guess so. Sixty nine percent of it is completely true and inspired by real life scenarios. I believe they can relate to the characters really well. I hope so!

Ohh okay, that's nice! It's amazing when a writer can take real life events and people and transform it into stories and characters and evoke the same emotions! That's insane talent!
