Me: What's behind your username?

jaeparklb: Ahh, behind my username is a cute little boy from iKON named Jinhwan! He's a magical child so he hides behind my username. Lol.

(my username is supposed to be "kihyeon" bc mx slays but ya know, jinhwan kills.)

jaeparklb: TRUE STORY.

Me: What country are you from?

jaeparklb: I honestly don't know how to answer this (bc yeah, travelling is a thing in my family). But since I do stay a lot more in New Zealand, I say . . . KOREA! Lol, joke. New Zealand. or Macau— I don't know but I'm currently in the Philippines. 😆

Me: Why did you join Wattpad?

jaeparklb: My cousin pushed me to do so. She used to talk a lot about Wattpad and such. And since she knows how much I love to write, she helped me start an account here, yay!

Me: What was it like when you first started writing?

jaeparklb: It's like a strong gush of river in my chest as all my feelings and lessons learned got expressed in words.

Adrenaline rushed through my veins and my pulse raced as if I have arrived to the climax of the story I've been writing. It's exciting and I would never get tired of feeling the same thing over and over again

Me: [Wow, that's deep.] Where do you get your ideas from?

jaeparklb: Lmao. Some people would hate me for this. I get my ideas from math equations. When I solve a particular problem and I use some kind of equations, I automatically think of a story out of it using the mathematical signs and stuff. I give meaning to it.

But sometimes, ideas just hit my head like a cannonball. And some are unknowingly dedicated to people I used to like.

P.S. I don't love math. Except Trigonometry and Geometry. ;]

Me: Woah, this is the first time I heard someone get inspired from math equations. 😂

jaeparklb: I like to be different though, lol.

Me: How do you deal with Writer's Block?

jaeparklb: Ah, writer's block. I'm actually dealing with it right now. ("right now", monsta x. get it? lol jk)

I do nothing special, really. I just eat. And eat. Until my brain starts to process again because at the moment, the task manager tells me it's not responding.

Me: [Lmao.] Who are your favorite authors here on Wattpad?

jaeparklb: Umm . . . Since I understand Filipino, I have to admit that I love @ThatsMyDerp because her Kyungsoo fanfic is so hilarious; it never fails to make me smile. Also, erinedipity , her hunhan fanfic is one of the first books I've read here.

And oh! @MindTwisting's "Poetry from the Wicked" is my damn style. So that makes him an awesome writer. Lol.

Me: What was your most embarrassing moment ever?

jaeparklb: Oh, my gosh. I embarrass myself almost everyday. This is not my most embarrassing moment but it's still shameful af.

I was dancing the dance break in Twice's Ooh Aah with full speed. Our teacher wasn't present that day. I did the headbang part the intense way and then the head teacher of the science department entered our classroom. She saw what I freaking did, and she asked me what in the world is my problem. ;-;

Oh, and one time, a woman asked me a math question and I freaking answered "gwiyomi". And then I realized, it's a real damn teacher who asked me.

Me: [oMFG, DUDE— 😂] Are there any stories you're working on that aren't yet published? If so, can you please tell us a little about it?

jaeparklb: I have like 20 books in my draft but my favorite is a Monsta X fanfic I've been working on.

It's called "a < bsin(A".

It's actually a case in the law of sines (in trigonometry) that proves that there's no triangle, or the givens aren't fit enough to make a triangle

The main mx member gets insecure, suspecting that the girl he likes, likes his friend (another member) instead. Whenever he tries to ask her, she would only give her an equation with the case of "a< bsin(A".

I won't spoil it here, but there's actually a main reason why he keeps getting stuck in a math problem he couldn't solve. It's a bit tricky, but I love that fanfic tho. idk whu

Me: [Wow . . .] Is there anything you would like to add? Any advice or other things you would like to share for our fellow Wattpaders here?

jaeparklb: Stay bad. We're bad and that's good. We will never be good and that's not bad. Not bad meaning bad but bad meaning good.
