INTERVIEW WITH: -dabs- :)

Me: What's behind your username?

-dabs-: I actually had two before I settled on my current one. My first one was @warofhxrmone, back when I discovered BTS, but I thought it was lame and changed it to @taegitrashaf. Then I thought that was stupid and changed it to @yoonminified.

Me: What country are you from?

-dabs-: America. Specifically from the state of West Virginia

Me: [Cool.] Why did you join Wattpad?

-dabs-: An old Internet friend of mine told me about some One Directioner fanfics that she had read so I made an account so I could read them too.

Me: So you're a directioner, I see. 😏

-dabs-: I used to be a huge directioner but I left the fandom because of the drama, but I still love them, lol!

Me: *nods head* What was it like when you first started writing?

-dabs-: I was thrilled at the fact that I could publish my work online and people could read it, vote for it, and tell me what they thought about it. I wrote books for my internet friends, which was mainly the reason why I was excited to write them. Even though they were really terrible.

Me: Where do you get your ideas from?

-dabs-: Some of my deep and sad books that I have published or deleted are based on my personal experiences. As for my happier ones, I will watch videos on youtube or listen to music and an idea pops in my head. Once I have that idea, I spend about an hour coming up with how to make the idea work.

Me: How do you deal with Writer's Block?

-dabs-: I listen to songs that reminds me of my books and hope that an idea pops in my head.

Me: Who are your favorite authors here on Wattpad?

-dabs-: @peppermintsuga is currently my favorite. I'm in love with their books!

Me: What was your most embarrassing moment ever?

-dabs-: A couple weeks ago, I went to a friend of mine's birthday party. Her and her sister had the same party on the same day. The party was at a hotel and we all chilled in the hotel room. My friend's friends, including her, went to the pool while I stayed in the hotel room. Her mother was having everyone sing for her and she forced me to sing. I don't like singing in front of people so I was shaking really bad. So I started singing but because I was so nervous and scared, I was off tune and sounded horrible. I felt so embarrassed that when I got home, I cried.

Me: [Aww, I'm sure you'll get over it soon. Just be confident with yourself! ☺️] Are there any stories you're working on that aren't yet published? If so, can you please tell us a little about it?

-dabs-: I have three books that I have unpublished that I will hopefully repost soon. The first one is called Social Anxiety which will be the first book of a mental disorder series I'm doing. I wanted to do this series because I know that there are people who are not aware of some mental disorders or might not be very educated on these disorders, so I wanted to help them learn about them. And I figured why not let the first book of the series be something that I have and I know a lot about, you know? The other book is Mr. Min. A lot of people have read this and the reason why I took it down is because I have no plans for this book. So once I have something for it, it will be republished! The same goes for my other book Online Dating.

Me: Is there anything you would like to add? Any advice or other things you would like to share for our fellow Wattpaders here?

-dabs-: Don't forget to smile because you all are so freaking cute. Get lots of rest and I hope that you do good on your studies! I am sending my love and hugs to you all. Do things that make you happy because your happiness is important!
