INTERVIEW WITH: winterseouls :)

Me: What's behind your username?

winterseouls: The history behind my username was first, it's because I always wanted to experience winter and snow since I'm from a tropical country and second is because I also always dreamed of taking a visit in Seoul hence, my username winterseouls. I only added the letter 's' in the end because the first one was already unavailable.

Me: *nods head* What country are you from?

winterseouls: I'm from the Philippines! *high fives with you*

Me: *high five* Why did you join Wattpad?

winterseouls: Well, the reason why I joined Wattpad was for me to write my own stories after getting inspired by the countless of great stories I have read from different authors when I still don't have an account. Also because I wanted to communicate and befriend other Wattpad users who shares the same interests as me. *cough* Kpop *coughs*

Me: What was it like when you first started writing?

winterseouls: It was fun. You see, when I first started writing, my work was entered in a writing contest by my friend because he said that he loved it so much that he's confident that it will win and I did win. So, after that, I enjoyed writing more despite some negative comments that I received. Also, it serves somewhat as a stress reliever of mine since I can let out all my thoughts and feels through writing.

Me: Where do you get your ideas from?

winterseouls: Honestly, I get my ideas from anything - may it be from a story I had recently read, from a very inspiring song, from a very odd experience of mine, from watching a really great movie or even from watching our neighbor fight across my room. Lmao. But, kidding aside, whenever I feel like writing, there will always be an idea that will just pop out from my head and then I'll write it. I guess it's already pretty obvious by the countless number of stories that I already posted and I'm not even half way there yet. There'll be more stories you guys should anticipate from me as I never lose ideas and inspiration.

Me: How do you deal with Writer's Block?

winterseouls: I usually take a break from writing and I just relax my brain for a bit when I have writer's block. I sometimes read stories, watch movies or listen to songs but the best one I usually do to deal with writer's block was to read all the comments that I receive from my readers - may it be a positive or negative one - and bam! I'll be inspired again. :)

Me: Who are your favorite authors here on Wattpad?

winterseouls: There's too many to mention but the ones that I idolize the most are @JhingBautista, @pilosopotasya, @SerialSleeper (all are Filipino writers), PandaFromMars, @zion-t, sxrendipity- and wonwhoore-.

Me: What was your most embarrassing moment ever?

winterseouls: The most embarrassing moment in my life would be when my friends and I decided to prank call a random number when our teacher got called to an urgent meeting and we were bored af. I was the one who told the poor guy that I'm a nurse in this specific hospital and his mother got involved in a car accident and I can seriously hear him cry his heart out on the other line. Turns out, the random number we called wasn't really a random number but my best friend's cousin's number since we used her phone during the prank call. After that incident, her cousin never talked to me again. Lmfao.. I'm a very bad person, I know. xD

Me: oMF-- Hahaha xD

winterseouls: I'm a very bad girl. Lmao. xD

Me: Are there any stories you're working on that aren't yet published? If so, can you please tell us a little about it?

winterseouls: Well, I have one. I got the story idea from @chinugh and it's about this pessimistic girl who doesn't give a fig about anyone and everything. She's a rebel and in order to discipline her, her parents have decided to send her to a relief giving for the poor this Christmas with this annoying guy as her bodyguard and because of the other people's sob stories, she'll learn how to appreciate the blessings she receive and such. It'll somehow be a short Christmas fic to celebrate the season.

Me: Is there anything you would like to add? Any advice or other things you would like to share for our fellow Wattpaders here?

winterseouls: I want to give some of the aspiring/newbie writers out there a short message that whatever happens, whatever negative comments you get, if you lost inspiration or something other than that, don't ever stop writing. As time passes by, I'm sure that your writing will improve and a lot of readers will love and support your stories by then :)
