INTERVIEW WITH: @dim_light :)

Me: What's behind your username?

dim_light: Since my art name is Diana McGuy, I wanted a username that held both initials (D and M) and 'dim light' just came across my mind... Plus, I realized that my favorite kind of state to write or even just think is when the lights are almost fading away completely, so dim light!

Me: [Woah, that's cool.] *nods head* What country are you from?

dim_light: I come from Italy~! I've stated it quite a few times, but I don't think anyone knows except for a few people, so yeah, here we go~

Me: [You're welcome Cx] Why did you join Wattpad?

dim_light: Mainly because a friend showed me how many fanfictions I could read on here. Ahah~ X3

Me: What was it like when you first started writing?

dim_light: Yes, I also write... Well, of course at first I was scared stiff (no kidding) that my stories wouldn't have been liked by anyone, which would have been kind of delusional for me since I really do care about writing and aspire to a career in the field... Now I'm more relaxed to be honest, I write only because I want to do it.

Me: Where do you get your ideas from?

dim_light: It can really be whatever: dreams, pictures, objects... If I think about it carefully, whatever becomes source of inspiration :)

Me: How do you deal with Writer's Block?

dim_light: Usually I just keep on writing. I think it's always the best way, even if it's terrible it's something anyway, you can always edit it later~

Me: Who are your favorite author's here on Wattpad?

dim_light: At the moment they are @jazzeh13, @barkyeol, @Alithium, @Ankoku, @rockerChen and @its-raining ^^

Me: What was your most embarrassing moment ever?

dim_light: Probably when I confessed to my first crush... I don't need to add anything, do I? XD

Me: Lolol. You knew what was coming, didn't you?

dim_light: Yeah, I totally knew, ahah!

Me: Ok, fine. I'll spare you this time. xP

dim_light: Ahah. Thanks for sparing me, I owe you!

Me: *nods head* Are there any stories you're working on that aren't yet published? If so, can you please tell us a little about it?

dim_light: Also, yeah there's a number of fanfictions I'm working on and which are going to be added to my EXO OTP's collection, but there is also an actual fantasy story which would be my first non-fanfic book; it's basically a dystopian novel. Sorry, I can't give further information since I still have to figure the plot out in all its details! X3

Me: Is there anything you would like to add? Any advice or other things you would like to share for our fellow Wattpaders here?

dim_light: I'd just like to remind everyone that each centimeter of you are special and important and that it doesn't matter how hard things will get, you'll always make it: you are strong, I believe in you. As about writing, if you like it then never stop doing it and remember that it's never too late to learn and improve.
