INTERVIEW WITH: @PandaFromMars :)

Me: What's behind your username?

PandaFromMars: I was Pandafromspace before, but recently, I changed it to PandaFromMars. Because my sister knew my username and I didnt want her to know? Anyways, the name is based on Tao and V. They were my biases so I based my name on that. I thought it was obvious but many people were surprised when I told them? XD

Me: What country are you from?

PandaFromMars: I'm from Bangladesh. But I've been living in Finland for the past 6 years.

Me: *nods head* Why did you join Wattpad?

PandaFromMars: A lame friend of mine asked me to read the after series because she cried reading it. So I made an account to read it. I'm not a directionar or anything but I'll admit it wasn't all that eveyone keeps talking about. After the first book it just got irritating. I don't know. Then I kind of just stayed here and peed on wattpad to make it my territory. :)

Me: What was it like when you first started writing?

PandaFromMars: I can't remember exactly, but my very first fanfics were "Dear Classmate", The "Millionaires Guest (kris)", "Like a cat (exo/aoa)" etc which most of them I've unpublished. I mean I had some readers and I was pretty happy with them, but then I got into different fandoms and I kind of just neglected those and so I unpublished them recently. I was new to the whole fanfic thing and you can tell if you read "Dear Classmate". But in a way, I think the quality of my work was better before than it is now? Because I only had 1-3 fanfics, now I have 10+ so before I could concentrate and had a lot of time. But anyways, I don't think I was ever insecure about my writings, I knew they weren't that good but I wrote for fun so who cares right?

Me: Where do you get your ideas from?

PandaFromMars: Just from my head. I have an overly active imagination and it makes it hard for me to fall asleep or concentrate on anything. I don't understand people who find inspiration from songs or movies, they don't come to me like that. I was in the toilet one day and I'm like, "I'm gonna make an emo Wonwoo fanfic and I'll call it Pineapple because can't think of another name."

Sometimes, I think about deep stuff like the human nature and read some classics, in a way they inspire me?

Me: How do you deal with Writer's Block?

PandaFromMars: What is that? Lol. I never have writer's block. I'm never out of ideas. In fact, I'm always having new ideas and it's really annoying because that means I can't finish the old ones. If you're reading one of my unfinished stories, good luck ever getting an ending. I always know what to write but I don't want to write it? I just always want to write new stories, but I'm really trying to control that bad habit of mine.

But I'm in a way of forcing myself to finish the stories I started and that's why I'm not publishing any new ones yet.

Me: *nods head* I see... 'Cause I was waiting for your update of your Minghao ff. But I understand. Haha :)

PandaFromMars: @HCLandsteiner (Although sometimes I don't understand her stories because too many hard words. Lol. But it's nice reading a book that feels like I'm reading an actual book and not some fanfic by a 12 year old), @deitydoe (her trophy eyes ♥), @skatewitches (her namjoon ff ♥), jinwan (her crack fics ;]), @katrocks247 (I love all her books she's amazing ♥), @wonuu (Her book is hilarious). And many more, just can't remember them because of my shitty memory.

Me: What was your most embarrassing moment ever?

PandaFromMars: I have so many, I can't remember much. XD But probably one thing that I remembered recently, when I was younger, I had a crush on this one older guy. We were just talking and I told him he had pretty eyes like a cow. I swear I thought cows had such pretty eyes but he didn't understand me and he just gave me a 'wtf' look and we never talked properly again. T_T

Me: Are there any stories you're working on that aren't yet published? If so, can you please tell us a little about it?

PandaFromMars: I HAVE SO MANY OMFG.

If you follow me on instagram, I posted something on there that I was thinking of doing a Park Bogum fanfic because I'm a trash for him. It's a continuation of the drama "Hello monster". I loved it so much I thought I'd try doing a thriller and I wanted to make a Park Bogum ff anyways. Reminiscent (a short suga fanfic), Finding nemo (hoshi fanfic) basically a human version of finding nemo but with a dog, Deleted town (where all the lost souls go) it's a bit abstract and I haven't figured out everything yet. But it's in my draft and I have a good feeling about the stuff I wrote already. It'll be very different than my other works so I'm excited. I have a lot more actually, A spin off from the JailBird (jhope) book, I'll probably publish it once I finish JailBird. That'll be, I don't know, in a hundred years. I also had a story on the drama "shut up flower boy band" about a punk high school band but I don't know if I'll publish it anytime soon. Not to mention all the unpublished stories I never finished. So I don't think I'll be publishing them anytime soon. But it depends on my mood and how well I can control myself. xD

Also, if anyone's looking for a BTS thriller fanfic to write, message me. I have written something and I was supposed to collab with someone but I had no time so I cancelled it. Now I'm willing to give the plot away.

Me: Is there anything you would like to add? Any advice or other things you would like to share for our fellow Wattpaders here?

PandaFromMars: Just do what you want to do. Don't worry about what people would think. Read a lot of classics, I swear they taught me more english than my english teacher and I'm a bit of a book nerd so I just enjoy reading classic books. I don't know. Though, one thing I'd advice if you're writing a book, don't do it on a plot that has been over done like "some idols little sister" or "bad boy loves me" "he's arrogant" "the idol saw me and fell in love" like that makes no sense, unless you can bring your own unique elements into them. Do a plot you can do well and enjoy writing. Also try something new. Don't always do the boring school life drama, do something fresh? If you're afraid, there's always google. Do you think all the authors knew already what they were doing? They had to learn about the topic to write on it. And just have fun. Don't stress and also focus on your real life and studies because remember Wattpad isn't everything. Be fab, my children <3
