INTERVIEW WITH: @vaniavvenus :)

Me: What's behind your username?

vaniavvenus: Well, it's just my full name. xD And if you are wondering, yes, Venus is my last name.

Me: What country are you from?

vaniavvenus: I'm from Indonesia. :)

Me: Why did you join Wattpad?

vaniavvenus: I have been interested in reading and there was a time when I saw a fanfic account from Instagram. The account have a wattpad account so I made one and since then I've been addicted to it. xD

Me: What was it like when you first started writing?

vaniavvenus: I first started writing mindlessly. I just write things that came to my mind with very bad grammar (not that it is now good or anything) but thanks to my friends, they helped me.

Me: *nods head* Where do you get your ideas from?

vaniavvenus: Stuff usually just flow in my head, it forms itself as scenes pass, you know. But the start of the flow is usually from just small things around me, what I see, feel, hear, smell, taste, just the five senses. From other stories I read or movies I watch, just simple things like that. :)

Me: How do you deal with Writer's Block?

vaniavvenus: To be honest, writer's block is basically just laziness, at least in my experience, although I still face it sometimes. How to fight it, for me is basically just thinking of simple scenes, I usually just take really simple scene and common scene from other stories or movies I read/saw, and I just need to change the words said by the characters to the words my characters would say and modify some other parts. If not, I'll just force scenes to start. From then, scenes and plot will just flow and I'll just continue writing whatever is in my head.

Me: Who are your favorite author's here on Wattpad?

vaniavvenus: I have quite a few but my current top most favourite is @yesternights . Besides her, my other favourites are @KimchiiDesu, @HCLandsteiner, @FantasticYeoja, @KayeAllen-official and @AmandaHocking (although she's verified).

Me: What was your most embarrassing moment ever?

vaniavvenus: I can't really remember anything... My life is either it's all embarassing or it's all just straight lines... (which is why I write since I want curves to exist) xD

Me: [Lmao. xD ] Are there any stories you're working on that aren't yet published? If so, can you please tell us a little about it?

vaniavvenus: I have a lot of plans but these are the ones that will be on top to be started:

I'm planning to publish a bts series of one-shot based on their title track. so the plot of each one shots are based on their title track. Also another one, I'm really anticipating this one. the title will be Red Converse. It's not a namjoon fic, but surely a BTS member. It'll be cool but I'm not telling any further c: Also another one, I really like this one. It'll be called Red Converse. It's not a Namjoon fic but a BTS member. OCxBTS Member. It'll be cool, I promise, but I'm not telling any further. (oops sorry I talked about the red converse 2x) next is going to be a series of books (not necessarily a trilogy but there are going to be more than 1 book), the series title is the Unlucky Winner. Different book is going to be about a different idol.

Me: Woah. That is a lot.

vaniavvenus: Thats probably it for now, there are more plans but these are the ones for now.

Oh and the rest of the book from my SKIPS Series trilogy (Krystal Jung, Kris Wu and Kang Seulgi)

Me: [I see. *nods head* I'm sure it'll be awesome! :) ] Is there anything you would like to add? Any advice or other things you would like to share for our fellow Wattpaders here?

vaniavvenus: [Thanks!] Um... To people who intended to write for fun, please don't think about how many reads/votes/comments you get. Don't write only for the reads and the fame and such, write to destress, to have fun. You're on wattpad, if you actually intended to make money from wattpad you shouldn't be here, you should go meet a real publisher.

My point is don't crave for fame, just write and have fun. I think that's all. c:
