INTERVIEW WITH: @jeonghanslut :)

Me: What's behind your username?

jeonghanslut: Well, it's pretty self explanatory. I'm a slut for Jeonghan. Just kidding (not really), he was my first Seventeen bias and I was hella Seventeen af when I decided on changing my username, so this came out of it somehow.

Me: [Lol. We're both Seventeen trash, then. xD ] What country are you from?

jeonghanslut: I'm from America.. Texas to be exact :D

And I'm total Seventeen trash.

Me: Why did you join Wattpad?

jeonghanslut: Well it was a few year ago, I don't remember the exact number, maybe 5? Anyways, I had discovered the magical world of fanfiction and I was trying to read one online but the site kept crashing. It then asked me if I wanted to download the Wattpad app and I was like sure. My life changed ever since then. Lol.

Me: *nods head* What was it like when you first started writing?

jeonghanslut: Oh man, it was a disaster. They were awful! Luckily, I never posted them, but I go back occasionally and read them, trying to fix the mistakes. Although a while ago I did have two stories up but they were my first and REALLY bad. Haha.

Me: [I feel ya, bro.] Where do you get your ideas from?

jeonghanslut: Well mostly from my dreams and daydreams, but anything can give me any idea. For example, one of the stories I'm working on, I got the idea from looking at a freaking fence and a whole plot got started from that. Don't even ask me how that happened, I'm either really weird or really creative. Music and music videos also really help, especially when writing kpop related stories!

Me: How do you deal with Writer's Block?

jeonghanslut: Very very horribly. You'll know when I have writers block from a mile away because you can hear the distant frustrated screams and smashing of my keyboard.. Aha kidding (maybe not about the screaming tho). I usually take a break from whatever I'm writing and write something else, or I continue to write whatever I was feeling writer's block on and go back and reedit the parts I didn't like when I feel inspired. Reading, listening to music, and getting out and watching people (not in a creepy way of course) also really helps.

Me: Who are your favorite author's here on Wattpad?

jeonghanslut: Fav authors? I have a lot but I'll narrow it down to @Bangtanvevo, @FlamingCamellia, @angeltwist, @xxWhoAteMyCookiexx and @penguinini. The list could go on because I read a lot but I'll leave it at these people.

Me: What was your most embarrassing moment ever?

jeonghanslut: Would my entire life be an acceptable answer? Haha kidding! Okay story time! Well let's see this actually happened a while ago in Walmart, my mom took me to get some snacks on a road trip I was going on in a few days. My mom told me to go to the snack aisle while she got some other stuff so I went and picked out all the snacks I liked. Well when I was looking I saw my crush through the giant shelve things on the other aisle. I don't know why I thought this was a good idea at the time but I decided to open a box of fruit snacks and through them at him. I was like 99% sure he wouldn't see me so I kept throwing them until I hit him in the eye by accident and he looked over and saw me and went to the aisle I was on. I freaked out and ended up trying to run away only to run into this big basket with a bunch of bouncy balls in it. The balls went everywhere and so did the fruit snacks. Also to top it all off, turns out my crush was Walmart's newest employee and he just so happened to be standing there with his manager who saw it all. The manager guy seemed way to short to hold that much anger but anyways he told me I was disrupting service and that I needed to be escorted out. So I ended up getting escorted out out by my crush which was really really awkward and embarrassing.

Moral of the story, don't throw fruit snacks at your crush.

Me: Oh, my god. I don't know what else to say...

jeonghanslut: I know right. Poor me, I became fruit snack girl and all his friends kept giving me fruit snacks whenever they saw me. I don't even really like fruit snacks.

Me: Tsk. Oh, well. I'm sure you'll get over it soon ;)

jeonghanslut: I am I just laugh at it now.

Me: [Good to know. xD ] Are there any stories you're working on that aren't yet published? If so, can you please tell us a little about it?

jeonghanslut: Yeah, there is actually. I have two stories I'm working on right now aside from my Rap Monster fic. One is a high school BTS fanfic about a foriegn exchange student moving to Seoul and the other is an exo one about secret agents (there's more but I'm too lazy too explain). I'm really excited to publish them but I still have to write it out. Lol.

Me: Is there anything you would like to add? Any advice or other things you would like to share for our fellow Wattpaders here?

jeonghanslut: Hmmm, for one, don't throw fruit snacks at your crush. And two, to be good at writing takes time and practice. Listen to others' critiques and try to better yourself because trust me, your first product probably won't be the best (at least mine wasn't). Although, writing isn't all about rules and how good it is, it's about having fun and expressing your inner thoughts and imagination. So just have fun and keep at it because I'm sure you'll have an award winning book some day! <3
