INTERVIEW WITH: @theBABELLE :)

Me: What's behind your username?

theBABELLE: Well my real name is Gabrielle and when I was little I couldn't pronounce it, despite how hard I tried, so whenever someone would ask what's my name, I would say Babelle. It sticked to me to this day and I just added "the" to make my misspronuncation into my brand. :D

Me: What country are you from?

theBABELLE: Lithuania, it's a small country right in the middle of Europe, but no one basically knows where it is, or that we exists at all. We have like loads of nature here tho, so the fact that people from around the world barely knows this place, is not that bed since we get to keep this beautiful surrounding, without mesing them up with more buidlings for people who would come to our country.

Me: Why did you join Wattpad?

theBABELLE: My friend @BeautiFlare_uj send me links to few of her short stories, and I was logged into facebook at that moment, around a month later I found out that I had accidentally signed myself up for Wattpad, but as soon as I noticed how many great books and people are out here, I just went with the flow and now I'm really enjoying the over all experience. ^-^

Me: What was it like when you first started writing?

theBABELLE: I started writing not on wattpad when I was ten, and now I'm looking for my first story everywhere, but I can't seem to find the notebook. I always wrote in Lithuanian and publishing a book was always a dream of mine, but when I discovered the wonderful comunity of wattpad I found the joy of writing in English and for the public. At first I was very self concious and the first story I wrote, I deleted it after a week, because I was new and no one knew I existed, but I thought that my writing was that bad. So I really needed some sort of push to get started for real, after I found that fanfiction is really enjoyable to write, I wasn't deleting my stories anymore, because even if only one person is reading it, it means someone appreciates your work and you always have to start small. :3

Me: Where do you get your ideas from?

theBABELLE: It's really various actually. I have several methods. Sometimes I just have a dream, which glimpes I can't forget and just write it down or interpretate to go with an idea I already got. I usually ask people to say completely random three words even if they have no connection and make an idea out of it, it works most of the time, I once got such words as "cat riding a motorcycle", "I love you." and "Scythe, elephant, glasses".. Also I change something in life from what I see everyday and make it into a story. For example my friend once said that my story "I need U" was born from what I wish to happen for me and I didn't realize it until she said that, so I guess I also use my desires as bases for a book unintentionally, all though I do't think it was the case when I was writinng my GOT7 fanfiction "BE MY GIRL. Heart games." Woah, seven men fighting over you is definitely not in my to do list, but it was isnpired from music. So these are my inspiration sources. :)

Me: How do you deal with Writer's Block?

theBABELLE: I only got writer's block once, because usually I either use three random words strategy to just get rid off it after a day, or starts writing new story and ignore the struggle. That one time that was, and still is, my writers block is well again for my story I need u, and I just have no idea how to get over myself and face it. So I guess my writer block is a rare guests, but I'm pretty sure listening to music you enjoy helps a lot!

Me: *nods head* Who are your favorite author's here on Wattpad?

theBABELLE: I adore @yesternighte writing, she is amazing! I also really love reading what @goals- and @BeautiFlare_uj has written, as for one hit wonders, I'm very sorry for saying this, but I truly had read only that one story from this author, although I loved it and it would be @ _damselindistress_

Me: What was your most embarrassing moment ever?

theBABELLE: Oh my, well I'm not telling you to not laugh, because it's probably gonna happen, but... I had a crush on this guy and I once tripped while holding a soup bowl and spilled it over him xD I don't know, maybe I have Rap Monster genes or something. I once even used this fact applying to an apply fic and ever since then I have nicknames as HotSoup and Souperman. :D

Me: Oh, my gosh. What was his reaction? XD

theBABELLE: His eyes just popped out, I have no idea how can he still see since it was like really wide puppils. He didn't even held a scene just got some napkins and started cleaning up. Not even himself but the surrounding! Like seriously that guy was so cool about it. I tried to avoid him since then, but we kept on meeting xD He still teases me.

I'm not sure if he hates me, doesn't act like that, but I sure did get over my crush very quick after the little soup accident. :D

Me: Are there any stories you're working on that aren't yet published? If so, can you please tell us a little about it?

theBABELLE: I have like 36 in my drafts and I am honestly lost how am I gonna manage it so, I just started story idea book, because I probably won't be capable of writing it all. However I am hoping to soon publish few of my stories, one called "The Other One" it's subtitle is "Church's choir and fourty-seven yo mama jokes" I don't know what can you expect, but it's about a girl who met someone who looks just like her idol Kim SeokJin and she is trying to figure wether they are realated or even the same person :D also "Imagine the love" is a really sad story or at least for me it is, but ai hope it will bring out the feels for people, basically I don't want to reveal much more, but this is the story about impossible love. :D

I have "Dreams Thieves" in my drafts for around three months now, and I'm hoping to publish it as well, a story where a company called "Deams Thieves" provides girls who make guys who broke girls' hearts, pay. ^-^

Me: Is there anything you would like to add? Any advice or other things you would like to share for our fellow Wattpaders here?

theBABELLE: Sure, If anyone is going to listen to my advise, when I would like to say that always go with your guts, as much as you will try to write, create as others, you're never gonna find the path that you are really meant for. Be yourself is over used, but future belongs to those, who believes in beauty of their dreams. As Rap Monster taught us- Do you. Don't be scared to share your ideas with the world, because even if there will only one person listening, maybe that person will be the start you really need. In conclusion, even if my motto is "Gehen groß oder zu Hause gehen" (go big, or go home) but everything starts from scratch and smallest details. ^-^
