INTERVIEW WITH: @suzuyustudioz- :)

Me: What's behind your username?

suzuyustudioz-: Well, my username has some meaning. The 'Suzu' part comes from the Japanese last name Suzuki. It's my favorite Japanese last name. While the 'Yu' part comes from the Japanese name Mayu. Mayu is also one of my favorite Japanese names and is also the name of my favorite Japanese idol ^^ Which concluded that my favorite Japanese name is Suzuki Mayu, shortened in Suzuyu. The Studioz part came from a good friend of mine that thought 'Studioz' would work well for my username!

Me: [That's pretty cool :) ] What country are you from?

suzuyustudioz-: United Kingdom~ However, I am Filipino.

Me: Why did you join Wattpad?

suzuyustudioz-: My best friend forced me at first, so I could read her book here. But that was like 2013. I honestly had no interest in Wattpad when I first got it since I didn't know how to use it. After she finished it, I stopped using it until the end of 2014. When I got into Exo, I'd read imagines of Exo on Wattpad, and I decided to make an account for Wattpad (but then I realized I already had one) XD! Ever since then, I've always been using Wattpad ^^!

Me: [An EXO-L, I see :) ] What was it like when you first started writing?

suzuyustudioz-: Not really an Exo-L anymore, since BTS is now my main group I stan! XD

I found writing to be a challenge at first. I remember when I started writing stories, I'd throw in random things and my stories wouldn't make any sense at all. However, I was surprised when people still read them. But I have improved now thanks to writing workshops in school and from an advice on Tumblr. I'm definitely much better than I was a long time ago. I didn't even save my very old works because I was pretty embarrassed about them. .__.

Me: Where do you get your ideas from?

suzuyustudioz-: I usually get them at the most random time. Like I'll be talking to a friend and suddenly I have a fanfic idea! XD I also get some of my ideas that randomly pop into my head after watching a teleserye (aka filipino drama for those who don't know) or going through Tumblr~

Me: How do you deal with Writer's Block?

suzuyustudioz-: I absolutely hate Writer's Block. When it comes onto me, I try to deal with it by watching random videos that come in mind or listen to emotional songs to get rid of it. Most of the time, it works. But if it doesn't, I just read books in my Wattpad library to kick in more inspiration~

Me: *nods head* [That is a good idea :) ] Who are your favorite authors here on Wattpad?

suzuyustudioz-: My current fave authors are: @exodust_tao, @starish10, @jajade_, @goals, and lastly @theBABELLE.

Me: What was your most embarrassing moment ever?

suzuyustudioz-: Omg, I'm seriously the defection of embarrassment! XD I always end up talking too loud at the wrong time and I always tend to keep a loud tone when talking. xD

Me: [LOL xD] Are there any stories you're working on that aren't yet publsihed? If so, can you please tell us a little about it?

suzuyustudioz-: I'm working on one story called "Escape". It's about 3 students that all have the last name Kim. They are being chased by an organization that will kill anyone with the last name Kim. The three cooperates with each other and try to escape to somewhere safe, without getting caught by the organization.

Me: Woah. That's a pretty cool plot.

suzuyustudioz-: Thank you! I also had another one in mind which is based on a Filipino drama called 'You're My Home'! But I don't have much inspiration for the based one however.

Me: *nods head* [I'm sure you'll do great :) ] Is there anything you would like to add? Any advice or other things you would like to share for our fellow Wattpaders here?

suzuyustudioz-: Ah to fellow Wattpaders out there, I suggest you all try to go out in the open! Don't stay in your tiny comfort ball. Explore Wattpad and look for people who are willing to start a conversation with you! Join lots of apply fics as well to meet new people. Just get out of there and don't be shy! That's what happened to me, actually^^! You won't regret getting out there for sure!
