What are your opinions on violent video games and television?

Are they bad? Are they a sin? Do you play/watch them?

The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:8 to fills our minds only with things that are pure, just, worthy of praise, true, lovely, honest, and of good report. Do these violent and brutal games meet these standards? I don't think so, but does that mean they aren't allowed?

Don't forget to be working on that list of kind acts! And hey, let me get things cleared up a bit... Don't do those little acts of kindness just to say that you did them or just because I asked you to. Do them because you WANT to and because you LOVE and CARE about the people around you! Remember, no matter how crazy it may seem, they came from the same God that you did and are just as worthy of a smile as you! Love your neighbor, your family, the strangers, EVERYONE! If somebody has helped you, inspired you, taught you... Say thank you! Feeling gratitude and not showing it is like wrapping a gift and not giving it! Show your gratefulness, show that you care! Wouldn't you like for everyone to do the same to you? Laugh if you want, but remember the golden rule - the one that is pounded into your head as a child? Treat others the way that you would want to be treated. That still applies and will throughout your entire life! But ya have to think, this could be your last day on this earth and you never said "Thank you." or "I love you." to that one person. This about that. How would it make you feel if (for example) you were angry at your mom and she got in a car wreck and passed away before you could ever say you're sorry? Hm? Sounds kinda rough. God said to never let the sun go down on your anger (or something like that...) I know I'm kind of ranting right now and trust me, I'm stepping on my own toes with this topic. Forgive and LOVE ONE ANOTHER! Show your kindness!
