Discussion - Sexy Sins
Um, if you're under the age of, like, 12 your parents might not want you reading this. I don't know. You can decide that on your own, I guess. (Take into consideration the title of this chapter.)
~
Okay, so this has really been bugging me lately, partly just because I've dealt with it a bit first hand.
God created humans as sexual beings, and He did that for a reason. He created us with lust and a sexual desire so that we would want and long to do one of the most important things: reproduce and populate the earth.
If we had no desire to have sex, then the earth probably would have ended a while ago.
So God created us this way for a reason, but the thing is, these days people are taking it WAY too far (myself included). They're tempted into lust and that desire is stretched. This is where things like masturbation, oral sex, sending/looking at inappropriate pictures, reading/writing steamy novels, premarital sex (even with protection), touching one another inappropriately, and simply talking or thinking/fantasizing about those such things come in to play.
Guys, this is partly just my opinion, so I could be wrong on some of this, but I believe that we were created to populate the earth and no more than that (in the way of sexual relations, I mean). Anything beyond that is just disrespecting the body that God gave you (and your partner's body, too). Yeah, I'm just being honest I will probably end up doing some of these things when I'm older because I am just like anyone else and get caught up in the moment. And it probably feels great at the time and probably doesn't feel wrong at all, but come on! Do you really think any of that is actually PLEASING God? The Bible tells us that in everything we do, we are to glorify Him:
•••"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." -1 Corinthians 10:31•••
The next time that Satan tempts you with something of this sort, ask yourself "Would I do this if Jesus was standing right next to me?" Then, the choice is yours. Do it or don't do it. God gave us free will to do whatever we please, (•••"You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love." -Galations 5:13•••) but that does not in any way mean that we should just do whatever and expect no punishment.
I believe with everything in me that those sexual things are a sin —my definition of a sin is anything that pushes you away or distracts you from your relationship with God— and the Bible tells us that the punishment for sin is death. Not just death, but also an eternity spent burning in Hell.
Eternal separation from God.
Just think about that for a moment. Eternal separation from Christ. Sounds awful, doesn't it?
Ya know, at times we may not want God around. Perhaps you're sitting in church and the Holy Spirit is convicting your heart deeply and you feel the need to cry or go to the alter or simply say "Thank you, Lord!!!", but then you realize there are people around and you don't want to embarrass yourself in front of them, so you are just like "Not now, God. Maybe next week." You just don't want God around at the moment.
But you don't want that forever, do you? Because that's exactly what you will find yourself with if you don't start changing your ways and obeying your Bible! (Oh, that was harsh, but I mean, it's true!!)
Do not comply to those temptations and follow those sexual desires into something more than what God intended for you as His son. He created you to keep the generations coming, not to simply please your partner. If all your partner wants from you are those sexual pleasures, then they are no good for you.
•••"Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ." -Galations 1:10•••
Please God first. Then your partner.
Please your spirit first. Then your flesh.
•••"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life." -Galations 6:7-8•••
Please keep all of these things in mind whenever the time of your life comes for these things to tempt you and your partner. It's okay if you stumble, it will happen, but please, just try to prevent it. Remember, you are the one thing in life you can control.
•••
Turn on your Jesus Filter.
Keep your mind and body pure. For the glory of God.

Hey, guys!
I was about to apologize if this message was a bit harsh, but God straight up told me not to. Everything I said NEEDED to be said, and if it hurt feelings, well, so be it. God called me to say something about this (for my own self, as well as you guys), so that's what I did.
However, thank you for taking the time to read it! I truly hope that this helped all of you and at least made you consider some things for your future relationship.
Comment your opinions!!
:)
Also, I have a very close friend that needs some prayers said on his name. Lately he has had a lot of stress and anxiety put onto him and he says he is just over thinking everything. (I know exactly how he feels! I'm sure we all have at some point in our lives!) This morning he asked me to pray for him and I did a lot, but I thought he could use some extra prayers from you guys! Thank you!
Have a blessed day! I love each and every one of you as God said for me to do! Thank you for all of your support! Much appreciated! :D
God bless!!!
