Okay, everyone here agrees that we were made in the image of God, right? I hope so.

But what does that mean? "In the image of God" could mean that we were made to look like He looks OR it could mean that we are created like the image of "man" that God pictured in his mind... Like when He thought of a man or a woman, that is what he pictured.

What do you think the Bible meant by this?

I have a hard time believing it means physically because when Jesus came to the earth, the Bible says He took "the form of man". That implies that Jesus did not physically look like us before He came.

But also, EVERYTHING was made in God's image, right? The birds, the grass, the trees... All God's image, right?
