APRIL 8th - NATIONAL ALL IS OURS DAY - The beauty of nature and all of the wonderful things that surround us in life that are shared and belong to everyone are celebrated each year on April 8th, which is National All Is Ours Day. National All Is Ours Day is a time to reflect on all of the beauty in your own surroundings and the spectacular gifts of nature that have been given to us. While you are reflecting, take time to appreciate all that you have been given as well and remember to not dwell on the things that we do not have. All that we do have is a blessing, and our lives are a blessing, therefore, all is ours! In continuing with our thoughts of gratitude for the beauty of nature, sharing our surroundings with everyone, being thankful for all that we have, you may find that you want to extend that on to sharing what you have with others! The greatest times and the greatest things in life are those that are shared.

So I've become slightly obsessed with these, so here are a few of my favorites! A few of them go along with today's theme! :)

Be thankful for the dirty dishes piling up in the sink... They mean that you have food to eat.

Be thankful for the lady behind you at church who sings off key... It means that you can hear (and you have a sense of pitch/key, which is a great thing to have, if I may add).

Be thankful for the parking space at the far end of the lot... It shows that you are capable of walking.

Be thankful for the taxes you pay... It means that you are employed.

Be thankful for the clothes that fit a little too snug... It means that you have enough to eat.

Be thankful for the shadow that follows you... It means that you are in the sunshine.

Be thankful for the lawn that needs mown and the shower that needs fixing... It means that you have a home.

Be thankful for all the complaining you hear about the government... It means we have freedom of speech.

BE THANKFUL!

Know, understand, and accept that nothing is ever going to be perfect. Realize in your heart, mind, and soul that people make mistakes, including you. Love life! Be happy! You have no reason not to be. Jesus loves you and is spending every second of His precious time making a way for you. Love. Life. It's so worth it!
